It was early afternoon when Marcus called up to Cally"s rooms. "Cally can you come down to the council chambers? Gladys is ready to ask you her questions." Cally had been playing around watching videos since she had seen Collin and Jamie Antunez off that morning. She was bored. Maybe playing with Gladys would give her something to fill the rest of the day until Marcus quit work for the day.Jessie and Abby were supposed to be working on their new apartment. Ugh, work, cleaning how boring! Skipping down the steps she couldn"t wait to see what Gladys had come up with. She loved yanking her chain so to speak. But she had done her a solid favor this time. Okay the other times were solid favors too but Gladys was SOOO serious all the time. It was fun to watch her twist about!
Arriving before the double oak doors of the council chamber Cally took a moment to sniff. There were an awful lot of people inside besides Gladys. Another sniff, and desserts! Cally hurried in to see the room was jammed back with people! Gladys was sitting beside James Holmes the Clan Home"s lawyer of choice these days in the center of the room. They sat facing the currently empty council members seating. But on the desk in front of the council chairs was a table laden with food of all sorts! In front of the Wotan"s chair was cheesecake will chocolate covered strawberries. OMG! It"s a set up!

Marcus stepped up to Cally and took her by the arm and escorted her to her chair. He then took a step back to stand behind her. Staring at him for a moment, Cally then looked at all the food. She then scanned all the faces in the room and balcony seating. Yep, the gangs all here. "Oh this is going to be fun!"
"Gladys, what"s all this?" Cally was smiling and not being bashful had started on the cheesecake before her. Gladys was as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. "Um, The munificent Wotan has gifted me the chance to ask two questions. The questions must be from the last two thousand years and not be from any period considered BC or BCE. Mr. Holmes has agreed to help me with these questions. The council has requested that I use one of my questions to ask about a specific topic." With this Gladys gestured to the council who were all sitting on the front row behind her. President Renard waved.
Cally started to stand but Marcus put a hand on her shoulder. She looked at him and sighed. Settling back down she swallowed a few times. Finally after getting all the cheesecake down, Cally saw Jessie and Abby hiding behind Sarah. "You three, I want a cola, milk and lemonade. I"m not talking until my drinks get here and I better not run dry. It looks like everyone is here for a show so what"s your first question?"
Gladys nudged the lawyer, "Miss Cally, what can you tell us about black magic and the possible dangers to werewolves?" Cally had just received a large frost covered gla.s.s of milk and was gulping it down. She glanced at the lawyer and continued drinking. Sitting the gla.s.s aside Marcus handed her his handkerchief. After wiping away her mustache, she continued to maintain her silence until Gladys squirmed. Finally, "That is a two part question. Do you want to rephrase?"
Gladys started pounding the lawyer with her notebooks. She was screeching and hitting until he ran away. Cally smirked, "You want to try again?" "YES!" Gladys settled down and looked at her notes. "What can A black witch do to werewolves?"
