Chapter 423: The Appearance of Ling Wushang
Ye Qianhe saw that Ling Chuxi had been sent flying away by his own palm and he froze as well. It was not that both of them had not stopped to confront each other along the way of running and chasing. But this was still a first whereby Ling Chuxi had been sent flying away easily with just a blow. ‘This despicable person. Why were you distracted at a time like this?’
“You are so stupid that you cannot be cured by any medication. Acknowledge me as your master and you too can become the outer disciple of Heavenly Star Sect!” Ye Qianhe glared at Ling Chuxi and spoke to threaten her again. “If you do not obey, I will let you have a taste of what the phrase “Being dead is better than being alive” is like!”
“You are merely an outer disciple of Heavenly Star Sect and you actually dare to be so arrogant!” It was at this moment a shadow appeared speedily like a flying meteor, blocking the two of them in between.
Not to mention Ling Chuxi, even Ye Qianhe had a great shock. With their cultivation abilities, when their Battle Qi was circulating, their sixth sense would become unusually sensitive. Yet none of them were aware of this person’s existence.
Without waiting for Ye Qianhe to regain his senses, that black shadow had stretched forth his palm slowly and smashed from top to bottom with his palm. His actions were so slow but it was easily done. Yet it gave one an unexpectedly heavy and suppressive feeling.
Ye Qianhe felt as if he was suppressed by a mountain peak. His body sank, fell to the ground with a ‘thud’ and he fell down on his b.u.t.t.
Ling Chuxi was completely dumbfounded. Ye Qianhe had the cultivation of the realm of True Essence. He was actually smacked to the ground with a palm, just like a fly that was smacked. Was this another expert?
“Who are you?!” Ye Qianhe looked at the person before him with a face full of astonishment. His heart fell from high up in the clouds into a deep abyss in a quick moment.
A young man in his twenties was standing right before his eyes. His body was tall and straight like a mountain peak. The features on his face were distinct like those of a sculpture. There was some pride that seeped through his handsomeness.
“Wasn’t it quite satisfying to chase my younger sister earlier on? Why don’t you get up to continue chasing?” The young man looked at Ye Qianhe with contempt.
“Younger sister?!” Ling Chuxi looked at the valiant face of the young man with a startle. A blurry face appeared in her mind, which had somewhat of a childish innocence, and of perseverance and straightforwardness. The two faces in her mind started to overlap with each other. ‘Ling Wushang? Was it really Ling Wushang?! How could he be here?’
“You belong to the Flowing Clouds Sect!” Ye Qianhe gave a startled look at the young man and suddenly asked in horror.
“Hmph!” The young man sneered. Suddenly he leapt up and smacked with his palm.
Ye Qianhe paled with shock as he once again sprinkled the poisonous green powder.
The young man waved his sleeves. The Battle Qi seeping from his body seemed like it was under the control of an invisible big hand. It rolled toward its center from all around and sucked in all of the poisonous powder without leaving any trace of it behind. And then he blasted it toward Ye Qianhe.
Ye Qianhe was shocked to the point where his soul was scattered. He himself knew the best of how powerful this poisonous powder was. Even if there was an antidote, there would definitely be more torture on the skin and flesh.
Ye Qianhe stood up and broke into a run without even thinking.
Boom.
The young man smacked onto the back of Ye Qianhe with his palm.
Ye Qianhe flew away like an arrow released from the bowstring. He spat out a streak of blood with his body in midair. But he did not even dare to stop and quickly took off like a dog which had just lost its home.
“If you let me see you again the next time, I will definitely not pardon you and kill you!” The young man said coldly as he looked at Ye Qianhe’s escaping figure.
The icy cold voice drifted into Ye Qianhe’s ears and he was actually shocked to the point where his legs weakened once again. He nearly stumbled and fell down on the floor. He could only stabilize his state of mind after much difficulty and ran forward without regard for anything.
Ling Chuxi looked at the courageous posture of that young man with his dominance surging to the skies. She knew that it was not because he was unwilling to kill Ye Qianhe, nor was not because he could not kill him. He practically disdained killing him! Such loftiness, such conceit made one gasp in admiration.
Was this man, who was like a mystery, her elder brother, Ling Wushang?
