Will raised a brow as he stared back at Letty, "What? Psshht! Nah I didn"t. I didn"t have to. At all…"

Will suddenly became unusually quiet and just stared at the wall of the elevator. Duke wanted to ask what "it" was but realized that it was probably something above his jurisdiction thanks to a sting like stare from Letty.

Letty took the trio one of the penthouses at the top. A depressed Will quickly followed along without speaking. Duke decided to follow the actions of his superior. Once the grandiose doors were open Duke was shocked by what he saw. Text Books. Textbooks as far as the eye could see. All with the words "physics" at the end. The entire penthouse had turned into a physics library. Even the bathtub and shower were filled with books.

Will immediately became uplifted as soon as he saw the towers of academia. Letty then spoke.

"As master requested every notable book on physics the planet has. Only the best of the best have made it in hear. Designs for all sorts of cutting edge technology are also among the books. There is also some biology and chemistry."

Letty let the trio to an empty center. There were some cushions on the floor that one could comfortably sit on. Will clapped his hands with a sinister laugh. "Time for papa to get serious. Letty don"t bother me unless its something serious. Duke, you will learn your mission from Letty. Peace."

With that Will jumped and sat on one of the cushions with his legs cross-legged. He immediately entered his best meditative state and carried on with his mission.

Will had control over thousands of minds, each capable of independent thought and innovation. That coupled with Aqua Sense, allowed Will to have a 4-dimensional image from his surroundings. Will allowed each mind to control x amount of intent. These minds would then coordinate with each other and spread like a spider"s web.

Will"s intelligence and Wisdom increase along with each level up due to him being a pract.i.tioner. A cultivator of Yuan. Yuan increases all basic attributes across the board. It is the actions of a pract.i.tioner that decide whether they lean more toward being a warrior or a mage.

So even if Will only had one mind, he would still be incredibly intelligent. Once he achieved the right level he would have perfect recall and his IQ would pa.s.s 200.

Although he had not achieved those extremities, each of his minds were quite astute. This made their coordination only smoother. Will slowly spread his intent around. Once a mind of his had a problem it couldn"t understand or settle, it would share the issue with the other nearby mind. This would continue until the problem was solved or set aside for a later side.

This was not how the ability was meant to be used, one could even say Will was over drafting his soul. This ability needed incredible Soul Force and incredible talent in a sensory type of intent.

A few hours later, in the middle of the night, Adelda stood over Will with a look of sheer horror on her face. She kept mumbling something to herself until Modus arrived and slapped her face, barely holding back.

"Pull it together, you"re an immortal. Behave like one!"

Modus flicked his sleeves with a stern face. Adelda spat out some blood and knelt, "Master, your servant has failed you. It"s just, it"s that it"s too much. There are things he does that even I don"t understand! Look, Master! Surely you notice the ridiculousness below us."

Modus looked down at the building Will and co were using. There was a slightly chilly wind moving about. The air in the city was becoming slightly humid. The clouds in the sky covered the beautiful half-moon in the sky. There was nothing odd happening in the whole area. Or was there.

"It"s not really odd to have enlightenment and yet have nothing happen." said Modus pinching his bushy beard. " Master, with all due respects, that goes against everything I have been taught, its-."

"Adelda my dear. In this, you should learn from these mortals." Said Modus as he pointed to the ground below.

Adelda stood up, confusion covering her face, "Forgive me, Master, I know not what you speak of." Adelda looked down in embarra.s.sment.

Modus gave her a mischievous sideways grin and said, "Human education is done in tiers of age. Which resulted in there being a problem, how do you properly guide the younger ones until they reach a point were the information can be understood by them? The answer is simple, lie!

A first-grader asks how babies are made? Lie! A child asks if Santa Claus is real? Lie. A child asks why they should be good, what do you do? Lie of course!

Humans are told that zero minus one is not possible as children. Then as teenagers, they are told that it is possible. Then as they grow are told to learn other things they were told were not true like s.e.x, lying, and some the bad things they were never supposed to do. You are told that s.e.x is okay when people like each other. You are told that lying is okay as long as you don"t hurt anyone. You are told that its okay to hurt someone as long as they attack you first.

Over time one loses trust in these so-called "truths". This leads humans to have a "Nothing is concrete, anything is possible" mentality. Which is why they are the best at adapting in the universe."

Modus quickly flashed behind Adelda"s silhouette and grabbed her head from behind, forcing her to look down, through the walls and floors.

"Look child, and tell me what you see."
