Arkalat walked back to their room his rage did not subside but he could not kill the brother of his King and good friend, but that did not mean he was not furious about what that physco had done.Arriving at the door two male slaves opened the door and closed it behind him.
Mumbling and muttering to himself he lifted his gaze to see Speranza sitting on a window ledge. The light grazing her skin and lighting her face the golden accessories sparkling in the daylight. Turning her head to meet his gaze she lowered her head and blushed even her ear top turned red. She was being very conscious about the way she was dressed.
He took a few moments to come back from his daze no matter how many time he saw her each time she was "dressed up" her looks would be enough to stun him silly.
Walking to her he leaned over to speak to her ear. "My dear you are gorgeous, And lucky for you we need to leave or you would not need those clothes anymore." he teased her while he helped her up.
Speranza glared at him while furiously blushing;--she was sore all over ok he better not even think of tumbling her up!
"Hey, now love don"t bite me I just might like it." he made a sneer at her antics while she rolled her eyes at his comment… Thick-skinned shameless p.r.i.c.k that what she thought.
Taking their luggage to their boat Speranza walked with some pain, Being supported by two servant girl her pace rather slow with each step she felt that she was dying of shame she could not even walk properly.
As he loaded some magical stones to power the boat, Dravick jumped in and sat down at the at the bow of the boat and smiled languidly at Arkalat.
"I need to go to Astria as well. Please do not mind me."
This time it was are expecting couple that was dumbstruck!
"Says who?" He said quite displeased about the intruder. He had wanted to be alone with his little wife, she had been glaring at him for most of the day he needed to make up for whatever grievance she had… is life happiness depended on it…
"The boat is too small and cannot accommodate you." He stated trying to stay polite after all he did not wish for her to think of him as a rude idiot… anyone else he cared not but he still wanted to look a little better in front of her.
"It"s alright we can get a much bigger boat there you already need one right? I shall accompany you." He sneered while using his hand in a dismissive manner about the "problems".
"Also I will bring some attendants do not worry we can tie a small boat at the back for them to ride on until we reach the destination" he continued as if it was expected that they agreed to him coming along. Arkalat wasn"t happy but the b.a.s.t.a.r.d had used the mission as an excuse in his hinting he could only agree.
"Very well, but if they get eaten it"s not my problem." He stated matter of factly.
While taking place and sitting Speranza between his legs as he leaned back himself comfortably. The boat started as soon as the attendants and future boat crew settled into the smaller boat a barrier covered it as well and there navel road to Astria started and remained uneventful.
Once the Town in view the next day Arkalat took a large long cape and covered Speranza with it, her beauty was just too striking he would kill anyone that would ogle his wife… on top of that, there was no guarantee that some idiot would not try to steal her and take her as a slave.
But since Dravick had brought attendants and they had kept him from being intimate with his newlywed wife he would make them pay by having them do all the side odd jobs…
Once they accosted to sh.o.r.e the female attendants dared not wander off neither where they allowed to. The slum-like town was a swamp-like place dock linked all the houses and buildings together the air had the stench of mud and putrefaction overall it stunk very badly.
The group headed to the large dry dock where they could get the large boat that would carry them over to the next destination.
Dravick and Arkalat entered the building leaving Speranza and the other women with the rest of their boat crew while they spoke business with the sailors and merchants.
"h.e.l.lo, what can we do for you sir, Dravick and you sir are?" the large bulky sailor said, Is tone was not rude Dravick was a well-known figure and the elf did not look like he took pleasantry easily.
"We want a fifty or more large boat one that can take the deeper water and will have storage s.p.a.ce for two smaller boats. How long until it can be delivered?" Arkalat said without to much force nor weakness
"It would certainly take at least one week sire." The man was very polite such boat costs a lot to make and this was a potential rich client it was after all with that odd n.o.ble...
"Very well here is the plan to follow, do it to the letter and the reward will be good." Dravick took Arkalat design and handed it to the boatmaker. Seems that their next stop would be the inn.
