From the gentle warmth around him, Rais eventually came to his senses. With loving concern, Anila inquired him regarding his experience.

Staying silent, his eyes observed the tranquil familiarity.

"Nothing happened." his body trembled while his voice cracked.

"Mom, I am home," droplets fell on the bed while Rais ran his wrist across his eyes."

Anila asked no further; moreover, she prepared him some warm elixir. Momentarily closing his eyes, Rais held the slightly hot cup against his cheeks. Leaning against stacked pillows, Rais watched the leaked sky, descend upon the earthly inheritance.

Letting out a breath of relief, Rais walked to the cracked window. While following nature"s array of lightning, he planted his hands through the window, to play with the rain, to relieve himself.

Though, gazing at the ghastly clouds, reminded him of the silhouette of the horrid and incorporeal monster. At the bottom of the sea, he thought he would die, after being pulled into the darkness.

Remembering the comments made about his curse, Rais looking at his shoulder. Jumping back up on the bed, unable to sleep, Rais asked Anila about meridian channels.

Time pa.s.sed, wrapping around a blanket, Rais set on the bed, similar to an enlightened sage. Unable to move due to sore legs, Rais lazily relaxed for the last two days.

Frustrated with his lazy att.i.tude, Anila had enough; thus, she dragged him off the bed, pulling his ear.

"Mom your son"s front teeth are already floodgates, now if he losses his ear no one will marry him."

"Take him with you, clean yourself," Anila pointed at Sliver Descent within a crystal ball.

"Is he alright, can you unfreeze him."

The crystal turned into liquid eventually vanishing while Sliver jumped to bite onto Rais"s hand. After realizing he hung on to Rais"s arm, his eyes rounded into watery puppy eyes.

Jumping onto Rais"s head, he searched for Anila to steam of his temper. Seeing the furious puppy, Anila laughed a helpless laugh.

Rais trudged across the yard at a snail pace, eventually quickening his pace to reach the behemoth, The Great Central Ocean. While the cool morning breeze blew on his face, sitting down on the sh.o.r.e, Rais tried to sense his first meridian channel within the spirit root.

Accordance with Anilas instruction, he tried until midday to clear his first channels, before becoming frustrated. Thus, to try a different approach, Rais dived down to escape the warm layer of the water. Engulfed with the cooling sensation, Rais reattempted to determine his qi channel.

According to Anila, when the channel opens, he would feel a tinge of coldness. Thus Rais thought, he might able to sense it better in the water, where it"s a bit colder.

With the slight control he had over true qi, he struck the neck area with it. Finally sensing a tinge of coldness, Rais swam up to catch a breath of joy. Climbing up to sh.o.r.e, he used the qi thread as guided through the channel as he packed it up with mana. Considering true qi more violent nature, Anila instructed him to fill the qi channel with only mana to slowly strengthen it up.

After reaching the primordial qi domain, Rais beamed with happiness. Although he had yet to control spiritual force, he nevertheless took the first significant step in his cultivation.

Probing within Rais became surprised by the size of the primordial qi domain as it had a diameter the size of his hand.

He removed the qi thread while filling the outer layer of the domain with mana. Br.i.m.m.i.n.g with energy, Rais felt like a crystal wing had grown on his back, of the entrance of the channel. Gazing at the distance, he knew his senses heightened, while his body felt much lighter.

"A domain created by heaven and the earth became the vessel to contain the very power it restricted once," while laughing at the irony Rais cleaned himself to return home.

With his heightened senses, he sensed something approaching them. Hence he grabbed Silver, quickly leaving the water, without even looking back.

"Don"t feel sad, boy, I will catch you fish later," arching his head backward, Rais a.s.sured Silver.

"With a little roar, he ran behind Rais."

Momentarily realizing the sore from his body had vanished, Rais sped back home.

While running, he realized he could sense more channels although he saw a gap between every nine and tenth channel.

Momentarily standing, Rais counted them, reaching to one hundred fifty. Thus he decided to inquire Anila, once he arrived home.
