"Alright, and now that that"s done… Let"s move on to the actual work." Eisen exclaimed with a grin on his face. And after summoning his staff, Eisen swiftly created a crucible, as he was about to experiment with a certain new type of material, which might be a great a.s.set if it ended up properly working.

Metallic Potions. First, Eisen got all of the materials ready, grabbing some steel, as it was the material he had most of, and attempted turning it into small shavings by sc.r.a.ping over the surface with a chisel, so that it would melt down more easily later. The next materials were regular simple materials for a Health Potion, which were just mana crystals and amran petals, which Eisen swiftly ground down into fine powders, and then mixed together with some of the steel shavings, which Eisen had continued grinding down further and further until they also turned into a somewhat even powder.

"Then I"ll just have to try this, I guess…" The old man muttered to himself, before simply pouring the mixture into the crucible he made, starting to heat it up immediately. And while the steel was starting to melt, Eisen started trying to keep stirring the hot liquid around somehow.

A little while later, when Eisen felt that the steel shavings had completely molten down, the old man poured it out into a cast that he made in order to form it into a small ingot, and he was soon faced with bar of steel with a just so slightly red tint to it.

[Low-Grade Health-Steel Ingot]

[Quality - Low][Rank - 3]

[Description] A metallic potion alloy created by the Omni Craftsmaster Eisen. As it didn"t manage to mix together properly, it has a low quality and is even worse than regular steel and does not have major Health-Effects when used in item creation

With a deep frown on his face, Eisen quickly threw the ingot to the side and chose to start again, just in a different way.

"Hmm, maybe it"s no good to do it while using already proper metal?" He muttered to himself, grabbing a small chunk of the iron ore that he was going to use to make Kiron"s sword and then threw that chunk into a bowl, where he swiftly ground it down. And after then using the flat riffled bowl to get the metallic parts out of the overall powder, Eisen mixed that with ground down limestone and coal, and then added the mana crystal and amran to it, before then pouring this new mixture into the crucible.

However, that wasn"t the only thing that Eisen was doing next. He already knew that trans.m.u.tation could be used to combine materials, and even though he wasn"t technically able to do so with anything but crystal structures just yet, he was at the very least able to "imitate" the process, which he was doing to ensure that the metal would properly mix with the other two materials.

Surprisingly, Eisen was actually able to manipulate the molten metal quite easily, and was even able to ensure that the sludge that wasn"t supposed to be part of everything split off properly.

After a little while, it seemed like the steel had been properly extracted, and Eisen the whole thing cool down a bit after waiting for the steel to push out some more of the carbon so that it actually turned into proper steel.

"Alright, then let"s see how this one worked…" The old man muttered to himself as he grabbed the cooled down metal block, and then removed the hardened sludge with a chisel, before he looked at the small ingot of red steel.

[Low-Grade Health-Steel Ingot]

[Quality - High][Rank - 3]

[Description] A metallic potion alloy created by the Omni Craftsmaster Eisen. It has inherent healing effects, and just carrying something made of the metal with you will increase your health regeneration just so slightly.

Eisen nodded his head satisfied, and as he didn"t really see any issues with the ingot, he simply placed it to the side to maybe make another accessory out of them. Right now, Evalia was finis.h.i.+ng up the rings for his beard, but the old man still had a few spots for more ear-piercings, so maybe making an accessory like this would be quite useful.

Either way, now that Eisen confirmed that such things were really possible, the old man wanted to move on to the next part. The actual creation of the metallic potion alloy that would be the base for Kiron"s quite literally giant sword.

With a grin on his face, Eisen then made his way over to the place where the Carriage was being kept, as he placed some Ironbark wood into the mana infuser a few weeks ago, infusing it with his element as much as he could.

[Average-Grade Flame of the Earth High-Ironbark]

[Quality - High][Rank - 3]

[Description] Ironbark that has been infused with the Flame of the Earth element. Due to this, the wood petrified and became as hard as stone, while giving off some heat on its own.

"Perfect! Now, I hope that I can still turn this into charcoal…" The old man muttered to himself as he scratched the back of his neck. "The regular Ironbark that I used to make Charcoal before ended up being a pretty great base for it." Eisen said as he took the wood out of the infuser and replaced it with some other common materials that might be useful when infused with his element, and then made his way back out of the carriage, filling up one of the barrels that he made to create Charcoal before up with the wood as tightly as he could.

"I"m gonna guess that regular fire is not going to be hot enough to light this up, so I"ll have to use my element… I hope the barrel itself is going to survive this…" Eisen said with a smirk as he carried it outside to the main deck, where he could already see a few workers carrying the Darkness-Whale meat, after it was wrapped up a bit, over into the direction of the stairs, as they would bring it to the kitchen area after this to have it cooled.

"Ahh, this makes me hungry already… Hmm, I could prepare some smoked Darkness-Whale meat as well for preservation…" Eisen muttered to himself, before he noticed that three certain people were also helping out with everything going on, which was mostly the carrying-around of the meat.

Eisen"s apprentices, who he probably should have seen earlier as well, now that he thought about it. "Hey, you three. How are the tasks I gave you going?" The old man asked, before the three of them turned around with big smiles.

"Oh, everything"s great…" Koro answered immediately, noticably annoyed at having to work on only learning about enchanting and potion brewing for a while now. After Xenia said she couldn"t really tell him any more than that, Koro went and started helping Parc and Rouge out with the item creation for whatever might be needed at the islands, although he still wasn"t allowed to use enchanting or alchemy, which set him back quite a bit compared to the other two.

"Huh, seems like you"re not happy with studying?" Eisen asked, and the young man immediately grumbled back. "How"d you guess that..?" He muttered, and so, the quite unamused Eisen immediately grabbed him by the shoulder.

"Koro, you realize who you"re talking to here, right?" The old man asked him with a deep frown as he turned Koro around to look at him, while he just replied rather angrily, "Seriously? Are you pulling the "First the Peaked" Card here?" He asked, but Eisen just looked at him confused and shook his head.

"No, I"m pulling the "You asked me to make you my apprentice" Card. And as my apprentice, I expect you to be respectful to me, do you understand that?" Eisen said as he began to grind his teeth at his young man"s reaction, but Koro just shook his head.

"I would if you actually taught us anything yet! All you"ve been doing is tell us to "Do this" and "Do that"! I"ve learned more from Xenia than you all this time!" Koro replied angrily, but Eisen just turned around and placed the barrel down to the ground as he summoned his staff, not only encasing the barrel in it, but also creating a table, a bench, and a wall that was supposed to protect against wind.

"Sit down." Eisen told him, before Koro looked at him confused, trying to figure out what he was talking about, before Eisen simply told him exactly what it was.

"If you"re going to complain about me not teaching you anything, then come. Show me that you didn"t waste anyone"s time, and show us that you can responsibly work with enchantments."

"Wait…" Koro muttered confused, as Eisen looked back at him with a nod as he had the parts of his element behind him increase the heat inside of the barrel. "Yes, we"re having the test now. And then after that, I will teach the three of you all at once. I figured it was unfair to teach the two of them what they had to do before you had the chance to properly join them, but apparently you would have preferred not being able to put what I taught you into practice. So now we"re changing that. I"m giving you the materials, do what you will. Use alchemy and enchanting, nothing else, to create a complex item with a fair amount of utility." The old man said in a commanding tone as he created a seat for himself and sat down on it and increased his own size, his earrings luckily following the example of the old man"s body, giving Sal more s.p.a.ce to laze around in, while Caria and Melissa sat down on Eisen"s lap and Fafnir simply sat down next to the seat like a dog would.

"Go and bring the materials and tools you need here. When there"s flames at the top of this pipe, I expect you to be back. When those flames went out again, I expect you to be finished with the item." Eisen told him, and just now realizing what was truly happening, Koro stared at the top of the pipe attached to the barrel before turning around and sprinting off to the material storage, practically feeling Eisen"s angry stare on his back.

And when Koro was out of sight, Parc and Rouge stepped up to the old man. "Erm, we know that you"re angry, but was it really a good idea to put that much pressure on him…?" Rouge asked with a wry smile, careful not to upset his Teacher any more than he already was.

But to his and Parc"s surprise, he looked at them with his regular smile. "Hm? I"m not really angry, I did that just to put that pressure on him… Well, I"m a little mad, maybe. I expect him to be respectful toward me, but in this case he was right. I didn"t teach you guys anything yet, but I will do that starting from tomorrow on. I"ll have to teach Stahl about a few things as well, because he"ll most likely be going off on his own for a while when we get to the islands, but I"m also going to start to teach you three something. But before that, I have to figure out if I can trust Koro with the pressure of my actual lessons." The old man said, and the two boys looked at each other confused.

"Your…"Actual" lessons?" Parc asked as he slightly tilted his head to the side, and Rouge swiftly finished the thought that his friend had. "You telling us to help everyone out by making items or by cooking for everyone each night wasn"t part of your lesson yet..?" He asked, and Eisen shook his head.

"No, no, it was. I wanted to give you proper experience with everything, of course. But I didn"t "Teach" you anything yet, so they weren"t technically lessons, just self-practice."
