"N-new boss...?" Mim whispered."B-bulls.h.i.t, don"t give me that!" He cried.
As he said that, police sirens began sounding.
"S-s.h.i.t!" Mim cried.
"Don"t worry boy, if we get out of here now, we can escape the governments watchdogs."
"What the h.e.l.l are you on about!?" Mim shrieked.
"You"re the one who needs to run, I haven"t done s.h.i.t!"
"Now, now, what did I say earlier?" The man asked, narrowing his eyes.
"I told you, the uprising a.s.sistant jealous of his bosses power killing his boss for the glory…it makes quite the juicy story."
"But there"s no evidence, I didn"t even touch his body!" Mim shouted, as tears began to well in his eyes.
"OPEN UP THE DOOR." A policeman shouted through a megaphone.
"We don"t have time Mim!" The man angrily whispered.
"Alright!" Mim cried.
"I"ll go with you d.a.m.nit!" He growled.
The man grinned.
"Now that"s the answer I was hoping for…" He whispered.
As the two made their way out the back, through Ocleau Forest, they reached a hideout of sorts.
"Finally!" Mim coughed, catching his breath.
"Now that this is over, care to tell me your name?" He glared.
"If not, I"ll just refer to you as "a.s.shole"." He smirked.
"Aha!" The man laughed.
"Sadly, there are many a.s.sholes in this world, "m afraid we wouldn"t be able to differentiate myself from the others," he paused.
"So, in the meantime, you may refer to me as Larkin, your new boss." He grinned.
Mim"s eyes widened.
"Heh…" He smirked.
"Guess I got stuck with another s.h.i.tty boss after all, huh?"
