Right in the morning, Elijah and Yalli had their breakfast before heading to the city stadium on the back of the palace. The entire city seemed more crowded than ever as they were stuck in a ma.s.s of people heading to the same place.Even more when they all had different sizes, colors and bodies. "This is annoying, Yalli come closer." Tired of walking stuck to so many people Elijah pulled the surprised Yalli closer while the air around him slowly changed.
Whoos.h.!.+ With each step he took it like he was in a completely different dimension. Moving at extreme speeds, he rushed forward and Yalli could only stare with shock to all those people frozen in time.
"Good, we arrived." Standing right at the gate for the partic.i.p.ants, Elijah let go of Yalli"s hand and walked to the reception while showing his IA. Yalli quickly catch up and showed hers too while stumbling on the ground which made the receptionist let out a soft laugh before showing the path to them.
"Follow the path and turn on the second left." Since this tournament has two different zones, one for Celestials and another for mortals, she pointed to the mortal waiting room while checking their names.
The waiting room was crowded with cultivators of different paths, Ava and Evelynne were the first to rush forward when seeing both of them and they sat on the corner of them room. From what he heard, there was twelve teams for the mortal tournament and another six for the celestial tournament.
"To not take all the spotlight of this tournament, the celestial battles would happen only at the end of the day with the finals taking place one day later in a battle royale between the three finalists." This is what Ava told him when he asked about the celestial tournament. Then he decided to have a look at some of the other teams down here and he was surprised by a beautiful purple wooden staff held by a 9th realm cultivator, or more precisely, the s.h.i.+ny gem on top of it that seemed to communicate with heaven and earth. This cultivator wore a black hood while three others stood beside it, two with the same silhouette of the first one and one smaller with half of their sizes.
Other may see it as a simple gem, prime crystal or natural object, however as the man who crafted it with his own hands, how could he fail to notice this gem was one of his handmade origins. Not just that, but one of the best ones he made before, the neo origin of magic. Made for mages and sorcerers type of cultivators, this origin could be used as the medium and the source of energy for casting spells, it didn"t have any skill, but it"s auxiliary power was scary in the hands of a talented mage.
He sold one of these for a family of paragons some time ago and he could have never guessed it would appear here today, no he could not be sure if it was the same. As for the purple wooden staff, he guessed it was no lower than divine grade. The craftsman who worked on the merge of both was also a grandmaster to be make those two powerful objects become one.
Leaning on Yalli, Ava and Evelynne, he summed up what he found and the three sucked in a mouthful of cold air. The fact he could make origins wasn"t a surprise for them as Ava and Evelynne heard a lot about it, and Yalli even saw him making an even scarier artifact with his smartphone of myriad shapes.
Feeling a little more curious, his gaze stopped on that same cultivator as his eyes released the power of time. It may be invasion of privacy, but he could not hold back from seeing others past.
"F*ck!" For some reason he could not see the past of the cultivator with the staff or the smaller one, but he could see of the hooded figure by its side. The image of a family of four living happily in a little village appeared in his eyes, his friends turned to him with strange faces as they saw a single tear flowing down his face as he saw the faces of two children.
"Henry, Claire." Calming down his heart that was in turmoil, Elijah turned to the figure with the staff and the other two with suspicion in his eyes. A dense mist covered the insides of the hoods making it impossible to see it inside, but when staring at the figure at the front everything made sense. Yawen had come to the void territory, and together with Aina, Ca.s.sie and Elliot.
He wanted to go there, but had to stop himself. If what he heard about the princess true body connecting with her clone"s soul, then it made sense why she would come. But then this would only make things worse, why would she bring their child that is not even six years old to a tournament full of 9th realm cultivators and celestials everywhere. However his ident.i.ty for the void race was something complicated, if they knew the man that took their princess was there all along, most of them would go after him and not in a good way.
Then if you add Yawen dragon body, Ca.s.sie and Elliot, he truly feared what the void king would do.Gladly he was in the abyss and not here, or things could get messy. After losing his cultivation, all his aura was lost which made the three not finding him until now, but if they saw him directly, even without any trinity power they would see it was him.
[Change my appearance.]
He could only rely on his supreme artifact to make sure he could not be recognized. A three-dimensional holographic image of himself then appeared in the air and menus of customization appeared as well.
Using it, he customized the image to what he wanted to look like. An ordinary black haired boy with white eyes before confirming it. Seeing Elijah suddenly chance faces made the three startle, but then they nodded. They all knew Elijah"s "Fame" in the void territory, it was better to disguise himself.
