Chapter 225: Gun thief (5)
‘I was too angry back then.’
It was after that incident where the Horun priests decided to move out of Khalodian and the religion itself declared Khalodian as the devil’s country. They began spreading rumors that Khalodian stole people’s souls and that their king sacrificed a newborn’s heart every day.
“They hid themselves well.”
Jinpok smiled as Joonb.u.m was deep in thought.
“Look, no one will know if they all die,” Jinpok continued.
“The monsters and animals will come to eat the bodies clean. It won’t even leave a trace.”
This place was a secret base for the Horuns. Not many Horuns knew this place existed.
“We’ll see about that.”
“Naw, we’ll just kill as we see fit. But there’s only one way to really kill off the religion.”
Jinpok looked at Joonb.u.m and he nodded. The only way to destroy the religion was to have people lose faith in the religion throughout the world.

“HAHAHA!”
An old priest slammed the table as he laughed loudly. His face was red from excitement. Men around him was watched him in silence.
“G.o.d has not abandoned us! Horun will rise again! We have the Devil’s Weapon in our hands! We will use this against those devils and bring them to justice!”he shouted as he looked down at the five M-16 rifles on the table. He then turned to Henderson and Gordon to the side.
“It is all thanks to you, Henderson and Gordon. You have shone light upon us during our darkest times.”
Gorden smiled brightly. He was being praised by a high priest whom he could not even meet before. Henderson also seemed to be pleased as he was being praised by High Priest Brix.
“Are we ready then?” Henderson asked.
Brix nodded, “Yes. We spotted those who were hiding away, deep within Mount Hyriondra. It was hard, but through all mighty Horun’s guidance, we were able to locate those rats.”
“Oh, that’s good news.”
The second step they needed after stealing the weapon was to find the Magnos. These weapons contained many mysteries and they needed a Magnos to find out the secrets behind the weapon. If it was the past, they had plenty of Magnos slaves, but since Khalodian started freeing those slaves, these people were hard to come by.
“They are monsters. How dare they free those dirty non-humans from slavery?”
“Yes, how dare they say those are same as us!”
“They even promote marriage between human and non-humans!”
“I heard they support the family if a human and non-human get married and give them land and houses!”
“Even the n.o.bles are eagerly looking for non-human wives!”
“They must be the devils trying to corrupt us! They are lying right now, but they will soon reveal their true nature. It will be too late if we wait until then! We should uncover their masks and bring them to justice! We should not let the Witch Queen and her fowl children to live! We will rip them apart and hang them in the city to show what they are!”
People began to talk angrily.
*
“It’s snowing hard.”
Jinpok turned to the sky where it was gray from the clouds and snow. The weather grew colder as the snow thickened.
“But it’s good for us.”
Jinpok turned to Joonb.u.m and Doral who were warming themselves inside the tent. The snow provided them poor vision, but it was the same for the enemies.
-They must be the devils trying to corrupt us! They are lying right now, but they will soon reveal their true nature. It will be too late if we wait until then! We should uncover their masks and bring them to justice! We should not let the Witch Queen and her fowl children to live! We will rip them apart and hang them on the city to show what they are!-
The three turned to the radio where they tapped in to listen to what was going on inside the Horun secret hideout. They were busily discussing how they should punish Joonb.u.m and the countess.
“They don’t learn, do they?” Jinpok sighed.
Doral smirked. “Yeah, laugh. Smile, Doral. Forget about the incident already. We’ll show them what we’ve got soon.”
Joonb.u.m also grinned.
“Yeah, they sure don’t change.”
“Why don’t we just wipe them out?”
“Maybe we should.”
“We’ve waited long enough. We should just kill everyone we see. It’s easier that way.”
Joonb.u.m nodded. There was no reason to hesitate. These people were cursing his mother and his twin siblings.
‘Call me devil all you want. I will show you what a true devil can do.’
