Chapter 350: Leisure of Dragon(3)
News of the incident spread quickly throughout the land. Students who were involved all had their arms pulled, which was even more shocking. Of course, Joonb.u.m also knew about this story.
“I mean… Hm.”
Joonb.u.m turned to Graham. Graham looked away, avoiding Joonb.u.m’s blaming look. This incident was certainly done by a dragon. Although not many knew about it, there were dragons living their lives disguised as humans.
“Pulling their arms was going a bit too far.”
Graham nodded at Joonb.u.m’s comment.
“Yeah, I did tell them to take care.”
Joonb.u.m shook his head.
“I can’t sentence them to hard labor if they’re like that.”
“Oh, you’re talking about that. Yeah, but the one who got into this incident seemed furious.”
Graham said, “These students had ill intentions. They were hunting a human and were truly enjoying it. They fired arrows all over a human and laughed as if it were truly fun. I think that’s what got him to become angry.”
Joonb.u.m nodded. He already heard what had happened. The mercenary named Roman was a dragon. He was traveling around to enjoy his life here. Most dragons lived their fake lives very truthfully. They even faked their own deaths when it came down to such situations, but sometimes unexpected things like this happened too. It was fortunate that Roman didn’t grow angrier.
“I told everyone to uphold the laws of the Empire.”
“Thank you,” Joonb.u.m sighed. Dragons were powerful beings who were now helping to keep the world safe from radioactive energy at the Khalodian Mountain Range.
“Oh, there’s a news.”
Graham then spoke to change the topic.
“What is it?”
“It’s one from the young one at the mountain range. He found something weird.”
“Weird?”
“Yeah. It’s truly weird.”
Graham seemed to be intrigued.
“We’ll have to check it out, but it seems to be a very interesting ancient relic.”
“Relic?”
Joonb.u.m became confused and Graham shrugged.
“Our new babies who were born as dragons are living there. They are absorbing radioactive energies until they grow up further.”
Joonb.u.m nodded. These babies were called hatchlings. They needed good quality radioactive energy to grow strong, and the Khalodian Mountain Range was a good place for it.
“We’ll know once we get there…” Graham said.
“Will you go with me?”
Joonb.u.m became surprised.
“What? Isn’t it filled with radioactive energy? I’m human. I may look weird but…”
Graham laughed. He too knew that Joonb.u.m wasn’t a normal human. Maybe Joonb.u.m had changed while moving back and forth through the Gate.
“Yeah, you are not normal either. But don’t worry. The area around the relic doesn’t have much radioactive energy.”
“Okay.”
The decision was quick. The Empire didn’t need Joonb.u.m as much as before. He could travel around if he wanted.
“Let’s go then. So, what is it about?”
Graham then smiled and said, “Alien!”
Joonb.u.m became silent, then became dumbfounded.
“Are you joking?”
“No, but what I heard only reminds me of that.”
It was surprising, but Joonb.u.m had seen so many things that nothing was surprising anymore.
“When are we going?”
“After dinner. I like the dinner here.”
Graham moved to the restaurant. Joonb.u.m followed behind.
