"Who am I I? I am Simon, well at least I am now. I woke up from my silence in a void known as death and ended up in the world of the novel I had just finished. Funny, huh? Sure, sure, sure...""Unlike some people, I did not wish to get transferred over to my novel. It just happened and now I live in it. Am I happy? Yes. I get to live without being sick, but it"s so tiring when I have to balance plot, personal life, training, and work into one stupid hotpot called "my day"."
"It"s like a mix and match. One day I feel like I need to rest and relax while doing some light training, the next thing I know I end up training for 5 hours, teaching a cla.s.s, and receive a message to meet some head honcho."
"That, I can take. What I cannot take is some idiot trying to mess with the plot. I probably haven"t been this angry since I got here, and I hope I never will again. But this f***ing idiot wants to screw up everything I"ve worked for in the past month? Sure, try it."
Simon laughed in his head.
"I missed just being the wingman. I really do want to help out James. And I still need to complete that goal from earlier... finding partners for all of those harem candidates will be hard, but surely not as hard as what I am doing at the moment. I"d better text James and hook him up with a pa.s.s to spring."
Simzy: Heya Jamzy UwU
James: what do you need Simon?
Simzy: wanna meet the love of your life?
James: not really.
Simzy: cmon... why not? It won"t end up like last time.
James: I am already seeing someone.
Simon felt a large pulse in his chest as he felt like he had been literally shocked. "d.a.m.n! James actually found a girl before without my help! That"s my protagonist!"
Of course Simon felt pride in knowing that James could handle his own life without Simon"s help. It meant that Simon had one less obstacle to take care of, now he only needed to wait before James gets strong. Simon already knew that the plot would only be complete with its centrepiece, and he wanted it to be he perfect centrepiece.
Sigh
"Sometimes I wonder if I"m even needed."
Simzy: say this name quickly.

James: what?
Simzy: Wayne Urshuge
Simon waited for an entire minute as he held his breath in antic.i.p.ation of what would happen next.
James: ...
"Good enough. I still got it."

"What did I expect? None of the characters even reached master visionary during the span of the novel.... actually, James temporarily became a grand visionary in the final boss fight, but that"s it. Stats grow, so I am honestly not surprised."
"Ugghhh... I kinda want to go on a vacation, life as a professor is tiring."
Simon laid down on his bed, looking up to his phone.
"Who even cares about my existence as a person? other than the fact that I am just plain overpowered, who actually cares about ME?"
Simon would find out this question a long time from now, but not in a place like this.
------------------------
Jack:
Jack laid on his bed while reading through the notes he had so fervently written down during Professor White"s lectures. He didnt understand everything that he wrote down, but he tried his hardest to break down and study every single concept. Each new concept made him more humbled as he realised that the easiest of methods were right in front of his eyes. Simon had deeply affected Jack in the time that he had been lecturing.
When Jack essentially had no friends or family, he worked himself to the bone to make ends meet. But after a while, he became conceited and arrogant almost. He became displeased at anyone that didnt work as hard as him, he viewed them all as dregs that shouldn"t even be looked at. Soon he too eventually gave up on his efforts and only barely reached C-cla.s.s in Haven.
Even then, he was still arrogant. He grew up an orphan, he had no friends, so why did he have to deal with these talented yet slothful people?
"Mother."
He wanted to be the best. He made no excuses, he did whatever it took, until he got tired. "Learning"s hard" he thought. Haven was different from his expectations. The teachers barely interacted with the students apart from cla.s.s times, so Jack naturally didn"t care too much about them either.
CRACK
Jack felt his back crack over a dozen times in a merciless cycle of cleansing as he pushed his body off of the ground. The overzealousness he now had was all due to his professor. In the month that he knew he man, he had received attention that he so desperately needed, a teacher that could help him thrive, and figure that could show him what it means to work hard.
Since the first day they had met, Jack could see how much time and effort that Professor White had put in towards preparing for each and every lecture. He had witnessed firsthand the pure authenticity and effectiveness of White"s lectures, and performed to his upmost capabilities in the hope of gaining recognition from his man. But why? Why did he want recognition? Was it some childish admiration from a student to their teacher? Or could it be he wanted more knowledge as a reward? Neither were the correct answer.
Jack desired approval from the man that had taught him so well.
All of his contemplating was now over. His thoughts had resolved and his body was now as calm as a meditating monk. He dragged his pupils upwards towards the roof and sighed a deep breath of relief and satisfaction.
"Elite Visionary, 7th vision."
A gentle but volatile curve appeared from his lips. Who would have thought that effort payed off like this?
