Taming Master

Chapter 532: Discovery of the Mechanical Civilization 6

Chapter 532: Discovery of the Mechanical Civilization 6

The spirits started to appear in the Gorge of Blasts dungeon and they were of three types.

Firstly, all three types were extremely cute to look at.

One had a fairy-like appearance with pointed ears, an archer with a longbow that was much larger than its body.

Another kind was a dwarf-like one with a small hammer and s.h.i.+eld in its hands.

The last one, an elephant-like guy, a lot bigger than the first two.

Two of those types were of Abyss attributes—the two cute ones.

Both of them gave out tremendous damage, but their tanking ability was rather weak.

The one with a longbow was a long-distance damage dealer and the guy with the hammer was a close combat damage dealer.

‘If only these were there, it would have been much easier to deal with…’

Ian’s eyes were quickly scanning the battlefield.

Ten abyss attribute spirits were rus.h.i.+ng around and blowing out projectiles.

And in the center of them was a big white guy.

Ian who was looking at the damage dealer suddenly moved his line of vision towards the guy which looked like an elephant.

It was a spirit with the Zion attribute and was with the position of the ‘Magic Tanker’.

‘Anyway, I need to get rid of the meaty one first…’

Unlike the Abyss spirits which were everywhere, the Zion spirit was just one in the middle of the battlefield.

But the presence of it was much bigger than that of all the Abyss, he was like a hefty-guy.

The white s.h.i.+eld that he used was the biggest problem.

Zion spirit used the s.h.i.+eld to protect the Abyss dealers, so it took too much time to kill each of them.

However, if the tankers were targeted first, the Abyss spirits will shoot arrows.

Each step forward wasn’t painful but even if a few hits were taken in, they might die.

In addition, the tanking ability of Zion was considerably good, so it wasn’t easy to eliminate it quickly with the damage deal of Sarah and Vanessa.

‘I need to go in further if it gets dangerous.’

At the dwarf which was rus.h.i.+ng forward with its hammer, Ian moved his sword.

Swah- swak-!

His gaze went to Muel who was behind.

‘I still can’t believe it but, it gets hard to keep hiding some skills.’

As before, the role of the tankers alone couldn’t perform the quest properly.

Ian decided to move much more aggressively.

Ka-gang-!

Ian’s s.h.i.+eld blocked the hammer of the dwarf and began to s.h.i.+ne in blue.

‘Wrath of the Dragon’ stack was almost full.

Finally, Ian who blocked the arrow that was flying in—had made a leap to the front.

* * *

The reason why Muel joined the party of Ian was simple.

After the three people including Ralph exited the Abyss valley, they would try to escape while using the party of Ian as bait and then by using the unique ability of Muel’s—the ‘Blessing of Miro’, the ultimate survival skill they can use to pa.s.s through the last cave.

Of course, using the Blessing of Miro; Ian and his party couldn’t cross the valley.

As they had to kill the ‘monster-like’ guy which was in the last cave.

But on the contrary, they could get out of the Abyss gate.

And in that way, Ian’s party would be able to avoid the death penalty.

‘Yeah well, if I can do that much, then I will do as much as I could. I won’t be feeling guilty.’

Muel herself would be failing the quest, but she was willing to take the result.

If it was failed once, since the current cave wasn’t like the Frost Cave (which couldn’t be challenged anymore), this could be tried again.

But after joining the party of Ian, Muel could feel that something felt strange.

‘Uh, uh?’

The ability of the party of Ian which entered the cave changed in some way.

“Muel, follow me, quickly! It has already been a minute!”

“Ah, okay, Ian.”

Vanessa and Sarah moved according to the orders of Ian.

The power of the three was obviously different from what Muel witnessed a while back.

‘What is this, why are they all so great all of a sudden?’

Muel, a top-ranked priest cla.s.s user, saw astonis.h.i.+ng control of Vanessa and the high-end magic spells of Sarah.

But the biggest surprise was Ian.

The unusual knight cla.s.s user, Ian who was considered to have entered the ranker position with just his blocking skills was suddenly stirring the whole battlefield.

‘He, is he even a knight?’

The s.h.i.+eld was just there.

Ian, who had been a perfect tanker till then, began to damage deal like a mad person wielding a red b.l.o.o.d.y colored sword.

And he looked like a warrior cla.s.s than a knight cla.s.s.

Woong-!

Low resonance was sounding everywhere and a golden s.h.i.+eld came around Ian.

Ian quickly swapped his weapons.

‘What are you going to do now?’

Suddenly putting in a s.h.i.+eld and the sword, Ian pulled out a spear.

Muel couldn’t take her eyes of Ian’s movements even if she was performing heal.

There was a lack of common sense.

‘You are going in there alone?’

She didn’t know how strong the gold s.h.i.+elds were.

However, the one thing she knew was that it would be suicide to dive into the center of the spirits with just one spear.

And Ian ordered at the very moment.

“Vanessa, drag that thing to the left a little!”

“Kay, Ian!”

“Sarah, get me some slow!”

“Okay!”

Wheeing-!

Ian ordered for skills and they were activated at the same time, Ian’s form dug into the middle of the enemy.

And then, the attacks of the spirits poured all at once towards Ian.

Swahk-!

The situation in the game seemed like he would be out of the game any moment.

But then, Ian’s form split into two.

In the meantime, the projectiles which pa.s.sed to him were in vain.

‘Alter… ego?’

Muel was astonished.

A knight cla.s.s user has summoned alter egos, and it was something that she had never seen before.

And the controls?

If the timing that the alter ego had been summoned was misplaced, then the damage would’ve been taken.

Ian then split into two and threw the spear at the same time before the alter ego was gone.

Kw.a.n.g-!

The two spears that were flying with a golden radiance, went right through the body of the contaminated spirit.

Muel opened her mouth,

“Ah…”

From her mouth astonishment came.

The play which Ian had been showing would have been hard for even the 2nd ranker of the warrior cla.s.s Ralph to imitate.

‘Ralph is the second ranker and his controls are a bit lacking…’

But her shock didn’t end there.

“Muel, s.h.i.+eld please!”

“Oh, okay!”

At the orders of Ian, Muel quickly put up a s.h.i.+eld.

Meanwhile, holding out his weapons.

The weapons which he had picked up were; the red sword and the blue s.h.i.+eld.

This time too it seemed like he was going to do something, and the antic.i.p.ation started to rise for Muel.

‘Will you recover that spear later?’

And just like her expectations, Ian perfectly responded.

* * *

That to the invincible effect of the ‘Wrath of the Dragon’ unique ability and the s.h.i.+eld of Muel, Ian was able to successfully approach the elephant-like one.

But from that moment, it was standing on a real ice sheet.

Numerous eyes were flying towards Ian and would turn into a pulp if he even made a single mistake in the game.

‘Three in the front. Placed on the rear side…’

Ian grasped the positions in advance, opened his hands and activated his unique ability.

“Dragon Soul!”

And then, Ian and Ian alter’s s.h.i.+elds started to s.h.i.+ne in blue again.

Woong-!

A total of six blue s.h.i.+elds were wrapping Ian.

And the arrows were all pouring onto it.

s.h.i.+k- s.h.i.+s.h.i.+k-!

Ian summoned the s.h.i.+eld and didn’t even bother to look at the directions from which the attacks were coming.

Instead, he just moved on to the next step that was in his head.

Tat-!

Ian ran towards the Zion attribute spirit which was standing in front of him.

And the alter ego of Ian was moving in the same direction.

Hweik-!

Ian threw the s.h.i.+eld that was in his right hand and grabbed onto the b.l.o.o.d.y Revenge with both his hands.

Subsequently, he began to control the two Judgment of the Spirit Kings that were lying on the floor.

Vitality Weapon—the ability to create alter egos and the ability of the Summon Incarnate to give vitality to those weapons.

The synergy of the two skills has begun to maximize.

“Phew!”

Ian completely fixated his eyes on the spirit of Zion and began to concentrate extremely.

If both the Summon incarnation and the Vitality Weapon were activated at the same time, the difficulty of the control goes up like crazy high.

Of course, if he didn’t want to control the alter ego and the weapons one after the other as they have an AI, it wouldn’t be a difficult situation then.

In addition to the self-immolation, but also giving the vitality to the weapon they had a basic AI.

If they were left alone, they would play an active part.

But since the level of AI is extremely low, control was crucial.

‘There needs to be a mix of control and artificial intelligence.’

Ian had set the target for the Judgment of the Spirit King and moved the s.h.i.+elds to a defensive position.

And four of them moved in unison.

Judgment of the Spirit King went past the s.h.i.+eld that was blocking the incoming arrows.

Shocked at what was happening, Zion spirit was very fl.u.s.tered and tried to cast a s.h.i.+eld.

And this was what Ian had wanted.

It was only possible to remove that guy if the s.h.i.+eld wasn’t out.

‘Now…!’

Ian and his alter ego jumped towards the spirit at the same time.

The red sword in their hands began to emit a red smoke at the same time.

Swaah-!

With a very creepy sound, the two swords were getting close.

The two red figures of Ian began to scramble all over the region.
