While he thought no one looking from the outside would know that was the issue, he joined their group, and headed to a Chinese restaurant near the company. That restaurant seemed to have a menu they only used during lunchtime, but there appeared to be eight different options.
“All right, I’ll take the number five.”
“Eh!?”
When Tatsumi spoke without looking at the menu, all three of them raised their voices.
“Konno-san, have you been here before?”
“Sorry, I thought you were blind, Konno-kun, but could it be, you can actually see a little?”
“Ah, no, that’s not it.”
He explained that he usually picked at random when he was choosing what to eat, and used the “not sure until I put it in my mouth method”.
“Eh, so you’re that kind of person, Konno-san.”
“That kind of person&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;?”
He tilted his head at Ichikawa’s remark, wondering what sort of person she imagined he was.
“I thought you could see, but the fact that you can’t see, makes that even more surprising. I thought you were the cautious, super serious type. You’re more of a risk taker than I thought.”
