“There’s no way it’s nothing, you’re making such a depressed face, Tatsumi.”
Kusamakura never held back what he wanted to say. Even though he was thankful for that, Tatsumi smiled bitterly.
“I was just thinking, ever since I’ve started talking to you, Kusamakura-san, every day has been so fun.”

Kusamakura didn’t reply. Realizing this wasn’t a conversation two men would normally have, he frantically shook his head.
“Um, I didn’t mean anything weird by that.”
“What do you mean by weird?”
“Huh? I mean, um&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;because&h.e.l.lip;”
Even though cutting off his words there was even more suspicious, Tatsumi held his tongue after his mumbling.
“&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;uuum, I don’t get along well with the people at my workplace.”
He was always alone. The serious words that probably shouldn’t have left his mouth sounded even more lonely than he thought. He hadn’t noticed it lately, but once he started talking to Kusamakura, he may have also started to realize just how lonely he was.
