“No, that’s not it&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;well, whatever. Lead the way.”
“All right.”
Even though it was probably Kusamakura’s first time a.s.sisting a visually impaired person, the way he guided him and walked wasn’t all that unnatural. Their steps matched up, and he told him right away about any obstacles. Since he also had his white cane, he was able to avoid pedestrians at least, and arrived at his apartment with ease.
“Um, it’s apartment 502.”
“&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;mn.”
Being guided by Kusamakura, they rode the elevator standing next to each other. During that time, Kusamakura hadn’t said a word. Coming here must have been a shameless request after all, he began to worry. However, it was already too late. Soon he was going through the opened elevator doors, and leading him to the front of his apartment. Tatsumi unlocked the door and turned the k.n.o.b.
“Um, please come in&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;it’s kind of small though.”
Since Kusamakura was visiting, he ventilated and vacuumed the place, but he was doubtful it was very thorough. His heart beat restlessly on the inside as he went in.
“Excuse the intrusion.”
Kusamakura muttered as he came in. He stopped his feet at the entrance of his one bedroom apartment.
