THE EARTH IS THE LORD"S
The earth is the Lord"s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.
For he hath founded it upon the seas.
And established it upon the floods.
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord?
And who shall stand in his holy place?
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity.
And hath not sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the G.o.d of his salvation.
This is the generation of them that seek after him, That seek thy face, O G.o.d of Jacob.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors: And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; Yea, lift them up, ye everlasting doors: And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.
--_Psalm 24_.

SHOW ME THY WAYS, TEACH ME THY PATHS
Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
O my G.o.d, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be ashamed; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed: They shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause.
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; Teach me thy paths.
Guide me in thy truth, and teach me; For thou art the G.o.d of my salvation; On thee do I wait all the day.
Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; For they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: According to thy lovingkindness remember thou me, For thy goodness" sake, O Lord.
Good and upright is the Lord: Therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment: And the meek will he teach his way.
All the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and truth {38} Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
For thy name"s sake, O Lord, Pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.
What man is he that feareth the Lord?
Him shall he instruct in the way that he shall choose.
His soul shall dwell at ease; And his seed shall inherit the land.
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; And he will shew them his covenant.
Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; For he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; For I am desolate and afflicted.
The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
Consider mine affliction and my travail; And forgive all my sins.
Consider mine enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.
O keep my soul, and deliver me: Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in thee.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait on thee.
Redeem Israel, O G.o.d, Out of all his troubles.
--_Psalm 25_.

I HAVE WALKED IN THY TRUTH
Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord without wavering.
Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; Try my heart and my mind.
For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes; And I have walked in thy truth.
I have not sat with men of falsehood; Neither will I go in with dissemblers.
I hate the a.s.sembly of evil-doers, And will not sit with the wicked.
I will wash my hands in innocency: So will I compa.s.s thine altar, O Lord; That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, And tell of all thy wondrous works.
Lord, I love the habitation of thy house, And the place where thy glory dwelleth.
Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood; In whose hands is wickedness, And their right hand is full of bribes.
But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
My foot standeth in an even place: In the congregations will I bless the Lord.
--_Psalm 26_.

THE LORD IS MY SALVATION
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Though an host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will I be confident.
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.
For in the day of trouble he shall keep me secretly in his pavilion: In the covert of his tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall lift me up upon a rock.
And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me; And I will offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.
Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, {41} Thy face, Lord, will I seek.
Hide not thy face from me; Put not thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O G.o.d of my salvation.
For my father and my mother have forsaken me, But the Lord will take me up.
Teach me thy way, O Lord; And lead me in a plain path, Because of mine enemies.
Deliver me not over unto the will of mine adversaries: For false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord: In the land of the living.
Wait on the Lord: Be strong, and let thine heart take courage; Yea, wait thou on the Lord.
--_Psalm 27_.

THE GLORY OF THE LORD.
Give unto the Lord, O ye sons of the mighty, Give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: The G.o.d of glory thundereth, Even the Lord upon many waters.
