Ashley looked at Tanaga when she heard him say that. "I wonder what he meant by leaving it to me? Hmmm?" In her mind, while they were walking towards the bar.
When they reached the bar entrance where a lot of guests were lined up and pleading to get in, Ashley held into Tanaga"s arms and whispered, "Are you behind all this? Did you close down the bar, so they are not able to get in?"
Tanaga just smiled at Ashley before waving to the bouncer. When the bouncer saw him, he hurriedly asked the people in front to let Tanaga pa.s.s.
"Excuse us. Please give way. Excuse us!" The bouncer repeatedly said while blocking the people so that Tanaga, Ashley, and her brothers could pa.s.s.
Ashley clearly heard how the people were pleading with the bouncer. She, therefore, felt terrible because she knew that she was the cause of why they couldn"t get in.
"Come on, Mr. Bouncer, that band that is singing is really my favorite. Please!" asked one elderly lady.
"I"m sorry, ma"am. It is a private venue for today! I hope you understand." Answered the bouncer to the older woman who was asking to be let in.
"Right! Please let us in," shouted the other guests who were in line.
Ashley felt sorry for them and was restless. So when they were able to enter, she suddenly pulled her husband to the side so they could talk.
"Tanaga, what you are doing is not right. I know you did this for my family and me, but we would not be able to enjoy if we know that there are a lot of guests who are standing outside, pleading to go in." Ashley said sadly while her eyes are pleading with Tanaga.
Tanaga first looked at the brothers of Ashley, who are stalled at the side, scratching their heads. Arman and Arthur were whispering to each other, and they didn"t look excited about what was happening.
When Tanaga looked outside, he saw that the people were still asking to be let in. He thought that Ashley and her brothers would not enjoy it anyway if he does not open the bar for everyone, so he had to think of another way.
"Ok. So that you"ll be happy, I will open the bar to the public...but only half of it. No exception because I don"t want you to interact with so many people. Is that ok with you?" Tanaga seriously asked Ashley.
When Ashley heard what Tanaga said, her face suddenly brightened up at smiled sweetly, before whispering…"Because of what you did, you have a gift from me later. Hahaha!" If only she were not afraid that her brothers would figure out what is her relations.h.i.+p with Tanaga, she would have kissed Tanaga out of gladness.
"Ok, sit down first, and I will talk to the manager of the bar. Let them order whatever they want. The sky is the limit," Tanaga boasted, but only Ashley was the only one who could hear him.
When Ashley was near her brothers who were waiting for her, Arman pulled Ashley to the side and asked what was going on? Arman had suspicions that Tanaga was the one who closed the bar, but he wanted to make sure that his hunch is right.
"Ashley, tell me honestly. What is the real relations.h.i.+p between you and your boss? And don"t you dare lie to us because if you do, you will not be able to go back to j.a.pan. Do you understand?" Arman seriously asked his sister, obviously mad.
Ashley broke into a cold sweat when she heard what her older brother said. She did not know how to answer him. "Brother, it"s like this…. Tanaga and I are…"
Author"s question and note:
Will Ashley tell her brothers the truth? What will happen if Arman finds out? Will he stops her from going back to j.a.pan?…. What about Tanaga? Will he agree?
