Zohaifa got outside of the sand house, ready for the move. Red-1 raised his hands to the sky, and the cloud started to rotate."This move feels easier here since the tornado is already rotating. It"s aiding my clouds rotation," remarked Red-1.
After a certain period of the cloud rotation, when Red-1 thought the time was right, he slammed his hands to the ground and a red pillar of light fell upon Zohaifa from the center of the cloud"s rotational center.
Zohaifa heard a sudden cacophony of words but couldn"t understand any of them.
"Will this work? I can"t understand anything," thought Zohaifa.
Then he could see something hazy. It"s not clear either.
"I don"t think this will work. Nothing is understandable."
But then a gush of memories entered Zohaifa. It was painful. But the process was over.
Zohaifa fell to his knees and breathed heavily.
"Remember anything?" asked Red-1.
"Yeah," said Zohaifa.
"But it wasn"t for free," said Red-1, "You need to establish justice."
"Why do you care what happens to the village?"
"All I can say is that I am a righteous guy but can"t do anything because I am gag."
Zohaifa let out a sigh and said, "I would have done it, anyway."
Then, Zohaifa approached the old man and asked, "Explain these to me. It doesn"t make sense."
"What doesn"t make sense?" said the old man with a drop of seat falling down from his forehead.
"Why is it that that monster attacks the village and the village just goes to sleep?"
"It"s the sleep haunter. That"s why. He attacks you if you don"t sleep."
"Don"t tell me childish stories tell me what happened."
"It seems unbelievable, but it is the truth."
"Checkmate gramps. I have already talked to the monster, and he said otherwise."
The old man sensed worthlessness of dragging the conversation any further. So, he said, "Follow me then. This is a highly cla.s.sified secret information that cannot be leaked out."
"I will leave the rest to you then," said Red-1 before leaving the village.
Zohaifa only reacted with thumbs up.
He was taken to a building with royal design. Just like all other houses of Orange village, it was made mostly of sandstone. There were even more old men inside the building. The old man leading Zohaifa waved to the others, indicating to follow him. Zohaifa was taken to an unnoticeable room. Inside the room, there was a trapdoor which led to a bas.e.m.e.nt.
All the old men sat with Zohaifa.
"So why did you call us, Sutton?" asked an old man.
"Our top secret information is under threat. This boy has a clue to what is happening. I think we would rather tell him about this monster and convince him to keep it a secret. Otherwise, he would try to know by force and if he is to share his half-baked knowledge, it will only bring terror among the villagers," replied the old man who invited Zohaifa.
"Well then, we seem to have no choice."
