It took few months before Huzey"s learned of Xhemin"s death. When he heard how the little Miss jumped off the cliff and killed herself, his face dimmed profoundly but he didn"t grieve.

"They said she was depressed over a miscarriage and her grandfathers" death," Huzey"s messenger said as he gave Huzey an old newspaper containing Xhemin"s incident.

Huzey took the newspaper and read through the local news. The messenger expected that Huzey would turn wild mad about the incident, so Huzey"s demeanor right then came as a wonder. Wasn"t he at least concern about Xhemin"s pa.s.sing?

"Thank you. You can go," Huzey dismissed him. The messenger in turn only gave Huzey a bow and left. He never thought bringing Huzey this news would come easy, but he was glad he didn"t have to suffer his beastly temperament in this visit. For how the Señiorito deal with this death wasn"t anymore his concern perhaps.

Few minutes after the messenger left, Senior Hans rushed to Huzey to comfort him, yet he was shocked to see him relaxed on bed, looking through the window peacefully but with lines on his head.

"G.o.d Huzey!" Senior Hans exclaimed, relieved that Huzey wasn"t throwing a serious fit like how he did when he heard about Dr. Miles" death. However, his unusual response alarmed something in him, "Are you alright?"

Huzey only nodded and Senior Hans dragged himself immediately at the side of his death, willing to comfort his grandson even though he seemed uncaring about the news.

"My child, I know you had suffered enough, and this news right now might—"

"I"m okay grandpa," Huzey cut in as he turned to acknowledge his presence, "Don"t grieve about it, I know she"s fine,"

Senior Han"s was caught off guard of Huzey"s response. Was his grandson in denial about it? Did he perhaps choose not to believe the news?

"Huzey, this probably is hard for you," Senior Han"s choked a little as a panic rose in his stem. Hearing his grandson"s response gave him a thorough impression that it might took a while for Huzey to accept such news. "But Xhemin"s death…. Her death wasn"t any of our fault,"

"She"s not dead grandpa," Huzey looked through him like a child trying to give a confession, "The one she did at the loch she did it, not to kill herself but to give a message,"

"A message?" Senior Hans was confused as to what Huzey was implying, "A message to whom?"

"To Ziggy probably, or me if she knew I was alive," Huzey told and dragged his eyes back into whatever was in the window.

Senior Han"s stared onto his own grandson for a while wondering whether he needed to call a psychologist about how Huzey was acting.

Huzey on the other hand just gave a deep sigh before he explained, "You won"t die jumping off that Loch if you knew where to jump off exactly…"

Senior Han"s was all ears as Huzey continued, "Xhemin knew that there"s a certain part on the loch that you can jumped on, unharmed. Not everything down the Loch was covered by big rocks, there"s a part that would lead you to a deep body of water, clear from any crus.h.i.+ng things. If you are not familiar of the Loch, you"ll never know that, same as no one also knew there"s a secret pa.s.sage from the duck leading you down to that part of the Loch where Xhemin jumped off. You have to swim underwater to have access to it, five meters down, below the duck"

Senior Han"s was surprised to what Huzey told him, "Huzey are you certain? How did you know all of this?"

"We grow up in the Loch—Ziggy, Xhemin and I, we keep secrets we don"t tell anyone, especially the fact that we play down the cliff most of the time. We know grandad would forbid us from going there so we all kept that secret to ourselves,"

"Silly children. But the cliff where she jumped was too high, certainly she must have hurt herself in the process," Senior Hans pointed out worriedly. "Besides you said yourself the water is deep, she must have drowned herself,"

"She"s a Rivendell student grandfather," Huzey answered, "I"m sure she"s fine. I knew her better than anyone,"

"Then why did she allow this to happen?" Senior Hans lamented, "Allowing everyone to believe she died and making us all worry,"

"She"s running away from someone," Huzey concluded, "For her to fake her death like that, it only meant one thing, the situation left her with no choice. Like me, she might have faked her death to become invisible to everyone, but she intentionally did it in the cliff to give Ziggy and I some clear message that she"s alive. Only Ziggy and I at this point knew she would survive the fall,"

"Why was she running away?" Senior Han"s turned worried at this point, "I thought that perhaps because she had a.s.sociated himself with the Lagdameo heir, she"ll turn out just fine,"

Ignoring Senior Han"s words, Huzey cleared, "It must have something to do with grandad"s death,"

Senior Han"s quieted at this. He was blind to the fact of who could have probably killed his friend. He knew there was a possibility that it had something to do with the past, yet he was in denial about it.

"I don"t know what to think about all of this my child," Senior Hans was in the state of confusion. He was worried about the Dugmoch"s but he can do nothing about it because he too was helpless at this point. The Montarinis themselves had to run away in hiding, making sure to protect the last hope they had, their heir.

"Just do me a favor by looking into the CGC"s activities, especially CEO Martin"s activities," Huzey"s voice was serious as he gave his grandfather a keen look. They shared secrets with Dr. Miles that had been kept for years and Huzey was suspecting it was because of that secret that the Dugmoch"s had been hunted.

Knowing what was running in Huzey"s mind, Senior Han"s tried to sway him, "Huzey you are still not okay. I know that somehow, we had to help the Dugmoch"s but we can do nothing, not until you"ll be fine. If you want to help her, then help yourself."

"Just trust me grandfather," Huzey pleaded, "Just trust me, I can do this."

So another volume had ended and I wished you all enjoyed it. I don"t know if I"ll be happy or sad about it but the next volume will be last. The Genius" First Love is to end soon and I don"t know if I"m ready to put an end to such a beautiful story (Beautiful for me because I"m the author).  I hope that I can deliver justice to all the characters I wrote.

Hopefully we can have a good end! Thank you for all your support!
