LGC Tower

Xhemin was in her office, on the top floor of LGC sitting anxiously at her sofa. Willow"s little sobs can be heard from the adjacent room and Ang was there to keep her company. Hearing Willow"s cry was a painful thing to hear yet she had no time to comfort her. The time was about come and by then, Willow had to suffer the consequences of her actions.

"Ang locked the door," Xhemin instructed him, making her voice a little loud for Ang to hear, "Tell Willow it won"t help if she kept crying,"

Clay himself was nervous, walking to and fro at Xhemin"s back. He simply had no advice to her for their current predicament because for all he knew, he was only good at managing business and not on raising children. Knowing that it was almost time, Clay excused himself to give Xhemin the whole room for herself.

"I"ll go Miss Leigh," He tapped Xhemin"s shoulder, "If you need me, I"ll just be at my desk,"

"Thank you, Clay," Xhemin replied and sighed deeply. She watched Clay left and when he was gone, she cupped her head as if she was deeply troubled on what"s about to come.

Clay left the room but it wasn"t too soon when the door opened again and another person entered in haste with a grim expression, making Xhemin panic. She stood immediately and met the person at the door very much unwilling to let him enter the room fully.

"Where is she?" The man"s angry voice filled the whole room that Xhemin herself could feel his rage.

"Please calm down first," Xhemin tried to appease him but the man didn"t heed her request. The man entered the room, threw his backpack at the floor and examined the whole room as if looking for someone.

"Don"t you dare tell me that…" He was like screaming when he snapped back at her, "You? How could you be so calm in this situation? Do even know what this entire thing means?"

"Of course, I do. But she"s just a child for Christ sake Ziggy!"

Xhemin screamed his name and argue with him as if nothing had change but obviously a lot of things did. Ziggy himself had grown now, he grew taller, his once well combed curly hair was slightly mess and uncut, his s.h.i.+nny white complexion was now perfectly tan probably brought by his expeditions where he constant under the sun. The trace of luxury being the youngest Montreal sire was gone now replaced by the face of raggedly handsome doctor who does a living tending to the poor. It was the first time they had met personally after he left the country and yet the first thing they did was argue.

"A very smart child who manipulated her own baby sitter and lied to her own father about her whereabouts!" Ziggy hissed furiously. He was only informed about Willow"s misdeed five hours ago before he went running to the airport and flew back to the country, he had been avoiding for years without a second thought. "That girl is not anymore a child Xhemin can"t you see? And she needs a real spanking for her to see she had done something that would shatter our family apart,"

"Ziggy, I know what you mean and I know what Willow did was so outrageous but please can you not be too much? She"s terrified, she"s crying and if you only know how sorry she was you"ll not be this mad," Xhemin defended the girl.

When Willow started growing strawberries and grew fond of attending a local school, Ziggy felt bad of dragging her over to his expeditions so instead of bringing her with him and adjust to the inconveniences of constant travel, he left her in the care of Ang and allowed her to continue her schooling. During his absence, Willow devised a plan of going to this country when she was scouted by L Empire"s researchers making it appear to her father that she was to attend a compet.i.tion somewhere else.

"No, I had enough of that girl"s wildness Xhemin and I"m sorry I cannot tolerate this. You have to hand her to me right now, enough of you covering for her and enough of this conversation!" Ziggy cannot anymore be swayed. He was too mad and frustrated about her daughter"s schemes. Willow had always been wild and ambitious about her researches but Ziggy did not once think her naughtiness would bring them to this point where she voluntary exposed herself to their enemies, "Willow come out now before I get very very mad,"

"Ziggy I"m telling you do not—"

"You do not tell me how to discipline my child!" Ziggy cut off whatever she had to say and his words annoyed Xhemin. She admitted it herself that she doesn"t have a right over Ziggy"s way of raising Willow as he was the one who singlehandedly raised her without any contribution on her part but such mistake on her part was something not voluntary.

"Oh yes of course I do not have a right to disciple her! And yes, I had always been tolerating her! Covering for her but can you blame me?"

Ziggy paused a bit when he realized what he said was just too much but then he was really mad at how thing ended and he couldn"t just be cool about everything.

"This is not about you and me being parents okay? This is me trying to discipline my spoiled brat daughter whose has inherited her stubbornness from you!" Ziggy cleared.

"You yourself are stubborn when we were younger. This is your karma!" Xhemin did not hold back anymore.

"G.o.d Xhemin! I know understood why granddad was so strict on you previously, look at Willow she"s a total replica of your character"

"Don"t act as if my grandfather wasn"t having headaches from your misdeeds too,"

Ziggy and Xhemin"s went intense that Ang who was involuntary listening at the other room could look shake his head. It seemed like both the Xhemin and Ziggy didn"t realize they were just as hard headed as each other when they were young and Ang could attest to that. Right then, all he did was cover Willow"s ears because it seemed like the two adults in the other room forgot that a child was there.

However, to Ang"s surprise instead of staying with him as Xhemin instructed, Willow bolted out to the door.

"Mommy, Dada please do not fight anymore," She cried.
