"WHAT THE HECK!"Sam"s gazed leveled on Ziggy when he shouted— the girl"s full force of smoky dark green eyes greeted him, the exotic black fleck within holding the light.
Ziggy"s eyes stared helplessly at the girl"s green eyes, slicing into the depth of his soul. There was a flash of sparkle in it, reminding Ziggy that she was not as easy as he thought she was. He almost did not recognize her, but he knew it was Sam. Her roguish eyes proved it.
With her caramel short hair and head held up high, she sat there full of confidence and enigma. Her lips were blood red now, eyebrows on perfect angle and there were glitters just above her eyes that highlighted its beauty. Did she wear makeup?
She did— and it served her face perfectly.
She also took off her black leather jacket that she wore all the time. Now, her shoulder was bare in a spaghetti strapped bloused—it glowed even at the dark and her full breast was bulging seductively.
Heck! How did she managed to hide those?
This was the first time Ziggy saw Sam in her most feminine look and suddenly he felt like she was showing too much skin that made him want to take off his suit and cover her bareness.
The sight of her turned Ziggy"s insides upside down. He stood there looking like a pop-eyed toy from one of those claw machines at the fun fair.
Sabina noticed Ziggy"s astonishment, so she turned her head to the person sitting on the front seat. She was also astounded to see the girl. In fact, the moment her eyes fell on her, she instantly built a sense of insecurity on her stunningly perfect look. Her beauty haunted her in an instant!
"What happened to you?" Ziggy managed to ask after he swallowed all the liquid in his mouth.
"I think I should be the one asking that. What happened Young Sire? You seemed to have seen a ghost." Sam answered raising one of her brows.
Ziggy"s felt something he couldn"t understand. His emotion was in a mixed and with a twisting feeling that everything he had planned turned wasted in an instant.
"Is this your bodyguard?" Sabina a little confused and frustrated asked.
"Don"t you recognize her?" Ziggy countered at her.
"I"m afraid I don"t…" Sabina answered as she stared at Sam with a disapproving look. "…But I could say Young Sire that you have a really good taste when it comes to bodyguards." Sabina added sarcastically.
Ziggy couldn"t believe it! Even Sabina could not recognize Sam in the way she looked right now. Well, of course who the h.e.l.l would believe that the pretty woman sitting on the front seat was the same person Sabina traded over Ziggy that night on the bar? Looking at her at the moment, she was too feminine to be his rival.
The young sire knew by then that his plan failed, but he kept his act in order not to humiliate himself.
If plan A didn"t work then surely plan B will. If Sabina couldn"t recognize Sam then he will just let be. All he needed to do now was to date Sabina in front of Sam. He will publicly display his affection to her so that Sam will realize Sabina was his and will always be his. And whatever belongs to him, was something someone like Sam will not be able to take away. He once lost to this girl—to Sam, he can"t lose the second time around.
"It was father who chose her. I have no say to these" Ziggy explained to Sabina tenderly, a.s.suring her that everything was fine and that they still had a beautiful date to look forward to. "Promise, she wouldn"t be a distraction" he added.
Sabina relaxed. Seeing the look on Ziggy"s face and his tender words, she was already deeply
a.s.sured that her place in him was something that couldn"t be wavered easily. She responded to him with a smile before she answered; "Let"s head on then"
"Alright" Ziggy closed the backseat"s door and headed on to the front seat.
As soon as he seated himself beside Sam, his stomach knotted up and his nerves tensed. A muscle twitched involuntarily at the corner of his right eye, his mouth formed a rigid grimaced. He was anxious and a part of him wanted to scream loud at the girl sitting beside her. However, he didn"t think he can manage to chew out at her while she was wearing that pretty face.
"Wear your jacket. It"s cold" He commanded to Sam without turning to her. He dreaded to see her flawless raw skin, it distracted him in ways he could not describe. The kind that gets noticed even when he intended to ignore it.
"Cold? I"m really feeling hot. Aren"t you Miss Sabina?" Sam retorted. The heck would her master asked her to wear a jacket just because she was wearing a spaghetti strapped blouse when his date wore a tube mini dress that exposed almost everything in her pet.i.te body!
"I"m fine" Sabina brushed Sam off unpleased. She caught what Sam was implying and she was starting to grow an annoyance over the girl. Not only because she was pretty and for the fact that she was tallying on them on their date. There was just something, something about the girl she hated.
Hearing the girl"s exchanged of sarcasm; Ziggy took off his suit and gave it to Sabina. "Here you go dear, I don"t want you to catch a cold"
Sabina was pleased with Ziggy"s gentleness. He was obviously showing off in front of his bodyguard and she liked it. Simple gestures like that did make her heart flatter endlessly.
"Thank you, Young Sire" Sabina smiled and her face glowed in red. After that, she intentionally searched for Sam"s eyes in the rear view mirror and smirked at her. When she saw that Sam caught her eyes, she glared at her in a way that she was implying "You b.i.t.c.h, he"s mine!"
Sam wasn"t surprised at all with Sabina"s hostility and reaction. She expected it already from her. Tonight the young sire almost lured her successfully, but no matter what, she must endure him as well as his temper and probably the temper of Sabina—G.o.d forbids! Everyone in Hamps.h.i.+re knew how spoiled and brat Sabina Xu was.
They were already on the road and Ziggy"s eyes were fixated on the street, so he didn"t catch the girls exchange of silent hostilities.
Sam looked back at Sabina with a mischievous smile. Did Sabina think she was easy?
She took the bunch of roses in the dashboard and intentionally put it in front of her face as if she smelled them. She did it while Sabina was still playing eyebrows at her in the mirror to show it off to her.
Sabina"s face fell upon seeing the blood red roses Sam was holding. Sam had a big bunch of red roses, while she had only three! Also, her flowers were of the same color and length with what Ziggy gave her!
"From where did those flowers come from?" Sabina couldn"t help but asked. Her eyes were raging with fire.
"From the Young Sire of course!"
