"From the Young Sire of course!"

Ziggy who heard Sam couldn"t help but glare at her. He shook his head slowly gritting his teeth. What was he going to do with this woman? She was getting into his nerves!

"What?" Sam slyly asked his master when she saw his recent reaction "Didn"t you give me these earlier? You even tied it yourself" she added with a grin.

Ziggy withdrew his gaze from her and turned his eyes to the streets. He was clearly lost for words. His nerves were frayed to the quick and he was trying to rationalize everything that happened in a span of fifteen minutes. He started this night with glimmering hope of victory and yet in one bubble hit, all fell into ashes!

"Pull over!" Sabina said, her voice resonated how upset she was.

"Sabby" Ziggy called her tenderly, hoping he still had enough enigma to appease the girl from tonight"s seatback.

"I said pull over!" She shouted.

Ziggy rolled the car to the side of the road and halted. Sabina flew out the car in an instant banging the door.

She couldn"t withstand it anymore! That b.i.t.c.h on the front seat irritated her to a great length.

Spoiled as she was, Sabina was not used to defeat. She had clearly no other option but to throw tantrums and run away. She knew by that the Young Sire—whom she thought had fallen under her spell already—would run after her.

"Just wait b.i.t.c.h! Few meters away and I know the young sire will run after me. You could do nothing then but just watch with envy. Let"s see if you could still tag along right after!" Sabina mused to herself angrily.

Sabrina continued to walk away but she made short steps, making sure she wasn"t far too much for Ziggy to chase.

The young sire on the other hand was stroking his head in front of the steering wheel. Frustration was all over his face. Plan A didn"t work and so with plan B. That was too much of a failure for just one night.

"Young sire, I think she wants you to chase her…" Sam teased him. Now it"s payback time!

Ziggy held a deep sigh. He was clearly exhausted. Whatever Sam did tonight, it was more draining than hospital rounds.

"Look! she turns back and is clearly waiting for you!" She petted a little more. "You should go now! Go!"

"Stop it Sam okay?" Ziggy spoke already worn-out.

"But young sire, your date—"

Before Sam could finish her sentence, Ziggy turned the engine instantly and drove fast which cut off whatever Sam was saying. She jolted a bit and held onto her seatbelt. Whew! Now the Young Master is mad!

Sabina who was ready to go back into the car was surprise to see it droving fast away. Her hands trembled in anger as she shouted, "HOW DARE!"

She regretted stepping out the car and left the two inside all alone. Clearly, the b.i.t.c.h lured the Young Sire into leaving her alone in the streets! In her anger, she took off her heels and threw them aggressively in different directions screaming!

"You b.i.t.c.h!"

----

It only took them a swift twenty minutes to reach the apartment. Ziggy stepped out of the car and slammed its door; his eyes were raging with fury.

Sam bit her lips and wet them with her tongue before stepping out. She acted as if nothing unusual happened and head straight the apartment"s door. However, even before she could touch the k.n.o.b he felt Ziggy"s hands on her arms. It was a firm grip.

"Why did you do it?" The young sire"s expression was grave, he was ready go head on with her.

"Did what exactly young sire?" Sam displayed an unafraid face. She was so ready to face all what he had to say.

"That… in your face and p.i.s.sing Sabina out!" Ziggy barked. He couldn"t contain his annoyance with the girl anymore.

"I didn"t p.i.s.sed Sabina, it was you who didn"t chase her" She reminded him, her eyes were on him now digging to it intensively "Also, this thing in my face. I did it for you"

"For me?" Ziggy laughed sardonically. Was she jealous with Sabina? To that extent that she needed to dress up like a real woman now? How flattering!

"Well I"m sorry man but your colored face is something that do not interest me" He added laughing.

"I didn"t do it for your "interest" Young Sire" She retorted to Ziggy"s frustration "I did it, so you won"t have a rival with Sabina tonight" She corrected every a.s.sumption he had about her words. She knew her master thought she wanted to seduce him. Well, he was quite wrong with all that.

"Rival?" he smirked at her. They were shooting daggers through their glares at the moment.

"I"m just avoiding trouble for myself Young Sire, since the last time I rivaled with you at the bar—well, it didn"t turn out well, did it? Both for you and me" She narrated without wavering "Because Sabina chose me back then, you started to hate me. For the same reason, you made my stay here one h.e.l.l of a kind!"

Sam"s words sent chills into Ziggy"s insides. All she uttered was true and somehow, right then Ziggy knew he had been unfair with the girl. However, he was too mad to bend his pride at the moment.

"Then why don"t you leave? That would be beneficial for both of us, don"t you think?" He continued hiding away the guilt he felt inside.

"I couldn"t. I really love to, but I"m sorry I can"t. I need to finish this contract with you" Sam answered back, her voice was rather calm but the bitterness in it was discernible.

Ziggy stood there watching how Sam"s green eyes tickled some light. A light that warmed his heart, but the feeling made him a little hesitant, a little scared, a little unsure. Her eyes told him everything—how upsets she was, how hard things were for her and how she hated him.

Sam drove him crazy indeed!

"I am not buying it!" Ziggy settled, hiding away the obscure emotions he felt. "How much is the value of that contract of yours? I"ll give you the money you need to compensate for the breach of contract, and I"m going to double it as a compensation to you" He offered her the safest way out away from him. He was unsure, but he admitted there was something about the woman that scared him.

"It"s not that easy" Sam withdrew her eyes from him and brushed of Ziggy"s hand that was holding firmly in her hand.

Ziggy stayed his eyes on her as he let go of his grip over her. His firm grip left a das.h.i.+ng red mark on Sam"s flawless skin. It made him more guilty.

"Not that easy? Are you kidding me? You wanna rot here forever being just a bodyguard? Or security or whatever you call G.o.ddam f.u.c.king job!" He screamed at her not because he was still mad but because his guilt was too much for him to contain and he needed it— he needed to scream to sway all the emotions away.

"That G.o.ddam f.u.c.king job of mine saved your life remember? If not for my skills and training, you wouldn"t be here, just so you know" Sam who had enough shouted back at his master full of hatred.

How could this master of her be such an ungrateful and pathetic?

Although he didn"t like her, could he at least be neutral with her? And he even dared to insult her profession; the profession that she worked hard for.

"Also, in case you have a slightest a.s.sumption of me refusing to leave because I like staying with you…." Sam added, her voice was shaking, and she was ready to leave "I"m sorry Young Sire but to be honest, I loathe every moment I had to spend with you."

Sam looked at Ziggy after that. Right there, Ziggy saw how Sam"s eyes turned watery. His heart ache in an instant.

"But this is something I needed to do even if I don"t like it" She uttered and left, leaving Ziggy gazing on his own thoughts.
