Smiling, she decided to tease him a little by stretching her arms overhead, causing the back to arch . Stumbling, Wei got up halfway and pulled her on the bed instantly . "I was feeling cold all by myself here and your body looks to be at just the right amount of temperature to warm me up," he smiled and nibbled her ear .
Wrapping his arms around her, he breathed her in before lowering his mouth one more time!
5 AM, Next morning
The tune from Disaster(Dave ft J Hus) rang loudly in room 3018, causing two sets of groans to emanate from the bed . Entangled limbs tried to extract themselves from each other .
Wei gained consciousness first, maybe on the account of an unfamiliar tune creating havoc on his pounding head . Trying to trace the source of the noise, he suddenly saw a naked leg slither up and brush his, uh, naked thigh? What? Where was he? Why was he naked? What was that noise?
His mind started playing 20-20 questions with him .
"Wait a minute . Is that Jia Li"s … no it can"t be," even before he could form the question fully in his head, his heart replied .
His body would have known instinctively had it been her lying next to him . Unwilling to face whosoever was under the pillow, he first reached for the offensive phone which was ringing non-stop .
"Mom" was on the display of the screen .
Worried about someone"s mom trying to reach the person, he overcame his reluctance and shook the creamy shoulder which peeked out from under the blanket .
"Hey, uh… your mom is calling," he said awkwardly .
"What the h.e.l.l did I do last night?" his mind was busy trying to remember, as a hand snaked out and took the phone from him .
A m.u.f.fled voice answered the call from under the blanket . Wei suddenly scrambled to find at least his underpants if not more before the person came out of the covers .
He couldn"t make out most of the conversation but it seemed monosyllabic at this end . Finally the call was disconnected and it was the time for reckoning .
Samantha was experiencing a similar feeling as Wei but she knew how to bluff it out . Gathering the covers around her chest, she sat up and looked at the man .
If Wei"s face had been flooded with embarra.s.sment earlier, now it turned white with fear and guilt .
"Oh G.o.d! Oh G.o.d!" he couldn"t get another word out of his mouth .
"Hey Mister, are you having a heart attack or something?" Sam forgot all about modesty and lunged towards him .
"Get away… stay 100 metres away from me," he immediately backed off as soon as he saw her coming towards him .
Samantha gulped down the acute embarra.s.sment at his behaviour . So what if she wasn"t good enough to look at, he didn"t have to give out such an extreme reaction . He was behaving as if she had stolen his virginity or something .
Finding his coat draped over the sofa, he quickly s.n.a.t.c.hed it and gave it to her to wear .
"I don"t know how… but I will take full responsibility . We will probably have to call the lawyers, the families . Are you, are you all right? I mean was I… did I?" Wei looked at the girl helplessly .
Sam thought that there was something wrong with the picture right now . He was saying the wrong things, wasn"t he?
"I am absolutely alright . In fact, I enjoyed myself thoroughly last night . So thank you for that," she tried to brazen it out .
Looking at his ashen face losing every single gram of blood from it, Sam struggled to understand his reaction .
"Uh, may I ask why are you reacting so strongly? I can a.s.sure you that I contributed equally to the err, activities last night . It was completely consensual . So can you please come off the guilt trip that you are currently on!" she couldn"t stop her eyes from rolling .
"You mean to say that I am over reacting . What is wrong with you kids these days?" he said, covering his face with his hands .
Sam walked up to him and took his hands in her own . She patted him gently, trying to rea.s.sure him .
Calming down slightly, he asked, "how old are you? Please don"t say high school . "
Samantha looked at him in astonishment .
"Wait a minute . He thinks that I am underage . No wonder he is freaking out," she thought, as a hysterical laugh bubbled up in her throat .
She got up and walked away, looking for her belongings which were now strewn all over the room . Finding her wallet, she pulled out her driving license and came back to sit next to him .
"I am a bona fide adult . So, stop hyperventilating," she handed over her card to him for inspection .
