Chapter 1500: I Want It Too!

Lu Li distributed the Gold and Dark Gold equipment the same way. Everyone didn’t have many specific demands anyways.
The Rune Sword!
It was completely out of Lu Li’s expectations that this was the first weapon.
Without a doubt, this weapon was extremely valuable. You didn’t need to see the attributes to know that. It gained a legion of fans from its appearance alone.
Even back before Lu Li was reborn, Blackwing’s Nest was already farmed every Monday by many Guilds. Yet, the Rune Sword was still an item in high demand.
If you walked around with a sword like this, you would have an army of girls flirting with you.
The design of the weapon was more attractive than its attributes.
The Rune Sword was paired with Teral’s Nightmare Blade, which looked incredibly cool.
Other than the Rune Sword and the Nightmare Blade, there was only the reward of the first quest of Ahn’Qiraj – the remains of Ravencrest.
The Sword was ultimately taken by someone on Water Fairy’s team.
Lu Li didn’t feel any regret. The couple of great Warriors by his side didn’t really care about the Sword either because of the attributes.
Then there were a pair of shoes – a Druid T2 Shoe Mould.
The team only had one Druid….
“Actually, I think my shoes are quite nice,” Hachi Chan weakly said.
“Let me have a look at your shoes.”
Lu Li inspected her shoes and saw that they were indeed quite nice – level 60 Epic boot with good attributes and terrific special effects. Altogether they were probably not bad compared to the T2 shoes that could be made.
Lu Li had never even heard of these shoes. Hachi Chan had probably been rewarded with them from a quest.
“Ahem, here, you guys can have the shoes,” Lu Li offered. Ruling Sword didn’t really have any Druids who were worthy of exquisite items. As for Innocent Child, it wouldn’t be possible to just give him equipment for no reason, even if it was to try and get him on the team. That would be overly flattering.
Naturally, Water Fairy didn’t have an issue with that. One of their Guild’s most powerful Main Tanks, Deep Watersong, was a Druid.
The last Epic equipment was a Poisonous Totem. The name sounded like a Shaman equipment, when in reality, it was a Thief’s badge. Its main function was to increase poison damage, but Lu Li found that this badge didn’t suit him. After all, he only used poisons that he made himself, so the increased effects weren’t that significant.
Just because Lu Li didn’t want it didn’t mean that this was the case for everyone else.
The team had a number of Thieves, and in the end, it was Cain’s Left Hand that took it.
It was surprising that there was another Pet, one that could summon a cute Death Claw Dragon Guard.
Remnant Dream had not received anything after two consecutive Bosses. Despite coming across so many Exquisite items, Exquisite gems, Enhanced Skills Book and the sort, none of these were relevant to her. But now, she was beyond ecstatic because this little pet meant everything.
As long as she had this little pet, even if it were Hunter’s equipment, she didn’t care if she received it or not.
The team for designing little pets were adept at figuring out what appealed to a girl’s mentality. No matter how ugly and hideous the monster, as long as it was made into a little pet, it would become incredibly cute. In the end, wasn’t ‘dumb cute’ a type of cute?
This ugly, yet cute little Dragon Guard snuggled next to Remnant Dream’s feet. Its little claws hugged her calves, just like a pendant for her leg.
Of course, it would need to be stored away in a battle, otherwise, it would affect her speed.
The fact that Thunderfury completed his mission at Blackwing’s Nest too and originally sourced minerals here were not issues that required Lu Li and his team’s attention. He just wanted to quickly kill Fillmore while the Dragon Slayer’s Roar was still active.
Fillmore was a small dragon that patrolled back and forth in a certain area. His patrol route held a group of small monsters that looked like Broodlord Lashlayer’s Dragonsp.a.w.n and the Binders of the Pixie family.
So far, simple formations could not be used in larger Instance Dungeons. Smaller monsters could not be fought by Warriors simply pulling aggro and Priests healing.
Mages who could transform were recommended to do so as often as they could. Hunters could kite Dragonsp.a.w.n, while Warlocks could summon demons.
After a few rounds of clearing the smaller monsters, they could go and attack the Boss.
Fillmore’s main skill was a fire-type area of effect, which applied more damage. However, it wasn’t a problem if a player had high fire resistance.
Azure Sea Breeze changed into his Fire-resistant equipment, while Wandering’s current resistance was sufficient. Usually, you only needed two Main Tanks, but Lu Li still planned to go ahead with three. Even if the other two were killed, the whole team wouldn’t be destroyed as a result. The damage from this Boss’ attack was quite high, but overall, the difficulty wasn’t very hard.
Lu Li knew that the difficulty of this Boss wasn’t hard, but to get past it on the first attempt was beyond his expectations.
It was as if they were all in a dream. Ever since they had started the Instance Dungeons around Blackrock Mountain, entire teams being destroyed was the norm. They never thought that there was a Boss that would just fall to the ground mid-battle.
Regardless, this was a good thing. Everyone was doing their allocated tasks – distributing equipment, clearing smaller monsters, completing quests. Evidently, their egos could no longer be satisfied by Fillmore.
It would be best to also get rid of Nefarian.
“Get your mind out of the clouds and get to work,” Lu Li barked, interrupting their thoughts.
Everyone was not impressed by the Gold equipment, but the Dark Gold Ring’s attributes were decent, especially if you considered the 20 points of Fire Resistance.
From the current increasing trend of Fire Resistant equipment on the market, this Ring had a value that was comparable to that of an Epic equip. Not to mention, items like jewellery had a lower drop rate anyway.
Fillmore was also a BOSS that dropped T2 items. This time, it dropped one pair of Goblin and Shaman gloves. The Goblin gloves were given to Ruling Sword, which Lu Li a.s.signed to Kitty Likes Meat. On the other hand, the Shaman gloves were given to Drizzle Court. Lastly, there were the Dark Grey Robes.
Blackwing’s Nest dropped a lot of aesthetic equipment. The Dark Grey Robe was one of these.
The attributes were by no means good, but that couldn’t cover the fact of how pretty it was. At the very least, there would be many female players who would rather add a few pretty items to their wardrobe.
As soon as Remnant Dream tried it on to see how it looked (Hunters mainly wore chainmail but they could also wear cloth), all the girls’ eyes lit up. This style of clothing was definitely not designed by those middle-aged male programmers.
Even Water Fairy looked like she really wanted it.
“How about I join in on the auction and bid double the Guild Points?” Lu Li asked after everyone quieted down a bit.
“You’re a Thief and plus, you’re a guy. Why would you need this equipment?”
“Yeah Lu Li, why do you want to bid for Magic clothing? Unless you’ve found a way to change professions into a Magician?” a player asked in a sarcastic tone devoid of any innocence. Wandering probably just wanted to see Lu Li being embarra.s.sed.
Lu Li tightened his grip around the dagger to stop his urge of stabbing Wandering.
“Oh, I know! You want to give it to a girl!” Azure Sea Breeze continued to tease.
“For a girl? Who?” Wandering gasped as he widened his eyes. This type of grandiose acting didn’t deserve the face he had. Fortunately, he didn’t become an actor, otherwise, he would be cursed to death.
“I don’t know either? Maybe it’s March?” Azure Sea Breeze suggested as he pretended to think.
“Since we’ve been playing together for so long, you guys can choose how you want to die,” Lonesome Flower darkly replied. Even though he wasn’t experienced in PVP, he had all the equipment to easily slaughter two Main Tanks who didn’t have any attack abilities.
“Uh, then it’s definitely not March…unless it’s Hachi Chan. Oh my G.o.d! You’d even go for such a young girl! Ow! Hachi Chan, why’d you kick me?” Azure Sea Breeze cried out as he stopped abruptly.
Everyone went silent.
Hachi Chan let out a “humph” as if nothing had happened and retreated in a blunt, yet warm manner. It was as if that moment of her kicking Azure Sea Breeze in the place where it hurt the most wasn’t her.
Azure Sea Breeze was nearly scared to death.
It was normal to get killed and revived in Instance Dungeons. Hence, he s.h.i.+fted to the pain-free mode. There was no physical pain, but what he felt from being kicked in the male genitals was mainly psychological. It was as if a severe pain had spread through his nerve endings and he almost rolled on the ground covering his important bits.
As a cute girl with a height of only 1.5m, how could you do this?
Remnant Dream went blank for a second and thought of something.
“Hachi Chan, a guy last year said you kicked him. Was that true?”
“That wasn’t me! He’s falsely accused me!” Hachi Chan’s denied as her eyes flickered.
“Then how come you’re so good at kicking there? Didn’t we say we’d only kick guys in the knees?” Remnant Dream was dumb and wasn’t easily fooled by this.
“Enough guys,” Lu Li said as he wiped his forehead. “This equipment has average attributes. No matter which way it’s used, Mages can only use one of the special effects, so let’s just auction it off as an appearance equipment. Let’s start bidding. Just a side mention, this thing has a fairly high drop rate guys.”
The Dark Grey Robe’s drop rate wasn’t low and was especially often seen at Remnant Dream’s level. Of course, not many people believed him since everyone thought he was a scheming master.
Once they heard that any profession could partic.i.p.ate in the auction, everyone immediately put in a bid.
At the end, Lu Li used 120 Guild Points and won this piece of equipment. Nearly all his Guild Points were used once this was doubled to 240 Guild Points.
As a reborn player, he rarely made any mistakes, and he partic.i.p.ated in nearly Boss BOSS fight. His important role of Commander also allowed Lu Li to earn Guild Points faster than anyone else. A Commander’s income was much higher than that of Main Tanks and Healers. It wasn’t because Lu Li wanted to fill his own pockets; these were just customary rules in the gaming circle.
Lu Li calmly put away the equipment once he received it.
He couldn’t possibly bring it to Water Fairy now. She was a girl at the end of the day. Hence, in this moment, she was pretending to be busy with her head slightly down. In fact, she was beyond embarra.s.sed.
In addition to this, she was owner of two guilds. She needed some face and authority in front of the crowd of subordinates.
