Chapter 1836: Ikuti the Lost One

The first person to bravely take a dive in always reaped the rewards. Even though his charisma was less than ten points, Lu Li still got two ordinary quests to clear some nearby small monsters. There weren’t many rewards to reap from quests like these, but Lu Li completed them with outstanding speed which changed the Telredor camp grounds NPC’s att.i.tudes of him.

Ahuurn The Draenei got Lu Li to go find the Lost Ones of the Boha’mu Ruins in hope that Lu Li could help aid them. The leader of the group of Lost Ones was called Ikuti.

Finally!

Lu Li finally connected with the person he had been wanting to see. He entered Zangarmarsh in advance. The most important goal was to see this person called Ikuti. The aim for seeing this person wasn’t just for some quest. Experience was naturally very important, but there were many NPCs who could give experience.

Lu Li may not be well liked, but with his experience as someone reborn, he could still mess around with some of the NPCs.

No matter how awesome the NPC, they’d all been created for players to interact with.

Ikuti the Lost One, Broken and Lost Ones were two types of varied Draenei. They lost the natural-born n.o.ble appearance of the Draenei. Their skin had become loose and their limbs had shrunk, while rotten flesh had slowly emerged at the same time.

What was more terrifying was that they had lost the protection of the Holy Light, and their thinking was no longer as clear.

However, Broken kept his own wisdom and thinking for Shamanism. The Lost Ones were the saddest Draenei because they’ve completely lost their mind and souls. On top of that, they had also lost the protection of the Holy Light.

They no longer possessed the n.o.bility and wisdom of the Draenei, and they couldn’t even remember their names. They muddled about without aim and knew nothing.

If Ikuti the Lost One hadn’t accidentally walked into the Boha’mu Ruins on that day, then this aimless Lost One would have never met Lu Li.

During peaceful times, the Draenei built many temples in Zangarmarsh. They were managed by scholars and vindicators, but the majority of them were damaged; only some broken walls and magic relics were left behind. Yet, this place consecrated a Raven Lord statue.

Even though it had lost a majority of its magic power, it was still a true magic artefact.

It was said that it was Anzu the Raven Lord’s primitive artefact, but then it was lost in a battle and Anzu lost his ability to fly. He disappeared amongst the shadows and then became many Lost Ones’ patron saint for many of those who could no longer fly.

In realty, Anzu had entered into the Emerald Dream to try and search for his lost artefact.

This artefact was in the hands of Ikuti the Lost One. It had chosen Ikuti the Lost One as its new owner and allowed a Lost One who had lost his name to regain awareness again. As a result, more and more Lost Ones gathered with Ikuti. They had created a clan of their own in the Boha’mu Ruins.

Ikuti called their clan the Feralfen Clan!

Currently, their aim was to save their members who had been enslaved.

Under Velen’s encouragement, n.o.bundo the Broken and his team had returned to Draenei society and partic.i.p.ated in the capture of Exodar. While some other Broken among the marsh migrated in all directions.

The Naga in the Marshlight Lake, Umbrafen Lake and Lagoon had constructed a pump and gathered all the water from the marsh into the bottom of Serpent Lake’s Colifang Reservoir. A group of Broken Ones had been enslaved by the Naga. The Wasteland Broken Ones were fixing the Colifang Reservoir for the Naga. The traitors who had sold their own people for power had turned them into labourers for the Naga.

There were also some other Broken Ones groups that volunteered to partic.i.p.ate in Naga’s evil plans. In the deep Serpent Lake, the Murkblood Broken Ones helped the Naga enslave the wildlife in the cave. The clan of the Unbrafen Broken Ones spontaneously a.s.sisted Naga. They even used dark magic to enslave others to work for the Naga.

The Naga hated Ikuti and organised attacks on the Boha’mu Ruins many times. Ahuurn The Draenei hoped Lu Li would aid Ikuti and his Feralfen clan – to use Telredor’s name to bring the Feralfen clan on their side as new allies.

Very calculated, but Lu Li also had his own calculations.

If there was something that could improve his crow transformation, other than Medivh who was nowhere to be found, or a great mage like Jaina, there was only Anzu or Ikuti.

The Great Mage was not someone that Lu Li could just meet when he wanted. Anzu was still immersed in the Emerald Dream so only Ikuti was left.

If that artefact really worked, Lu Li would not hesitate to start a war in order to receive the artefact to improve his crow transformation.

He didn’t need the help of allies. Ruling Sword and Judgement Spear alone were enough to wipe out the Boha’mu Ruins.

The players currently were quite a low level, but they could still upgrade their stats, and equipment could still be gathered.

Lu Li’s crow transformation was one of his strongest ability, but it had a fatal shortcoming— it dropped his defence to zero. Zero defence meant that even a group of mosquitoes could deal a large amount of damage.

After entering the Outlands, the officials had completely opened up flying.

These people sat on flying mounts, and they had as much defence as they wanted. It was so much better than Lu Li’s crow transformation. Even Druid’s transformation magic didn’t affect their defence. Lu Li was not happy; his crow transformation was going to turn into the weakest flying magic.

“Outsider, please stop. Otherwise you will be faced with the angry flames of the Feralfen Clan,” two weird-looking Lost Ones came out and stopped Lu Li.

They came from nowhere and held short daggers. Even Lu Li couldn’t sense where they had been hiding.

The Lost Ones who had regained their minds did not have the regained favour of the Holy Light. In order to survive and to continue fighting, they started to wors.h.i.+p beast spirits and understood Druid magic through this. They had also started to train their physical fitness in order to become either Thieves or Warriors.
