“Hm…” An Xiaxia sighed in frustration.
Had he ever been able to stop himself in bed?!
“Are you full now?” Sheng Yize lowered his gaze to hers.
“Yes.”
“Let’s go home, then.” Sheng Yize gave her a knowing smile and led her toward the exit.
An Xiaxia felt a little shy. To avoid possible embarra.s.sment, she pretended to play with her phone and wouldn’t meet Sheng Yize’s eyes.
On Weibo, the page for local news had exploded.
“I’m in the area of SN, the restaurant. Someone with enough money to throw around is putting on a fireworks show! It’s so pretty!”
“Aah! That’s like the No. 1 spot for proposals in Yu City! I bet someone was doing just that!”
“That’s so romantic. I wonder who the lucky girl was? I’m so envious!”
An Xiaxia happily left a “It’s me” in the comments section.
The person obviously wouldn’t believe her and replied with a dog head emoji: Hmph! You silly human being! You can’t fool me!
An Xiaxia grinned. Teehee, she couldn’t care less if they believed her or not.
That was a little romantic episode which belonged to her and Sheng Yize alone.
Sheng Yize suddenly moved closer. “What are you reading? Your smile looks so happy.”
“Hm… I’m just checking my Weibo page.”
Sheng Yize gave her phone a quick glance and raised an eyebrow when he saw that “you can’t fool me.”
He didn’t mind if others taunted him, but he wouldn’t allow it to happen to An Xiaxia!
Hmph.
Mr. Sheng switched to his tsundere mode right away and took out his phone.
He didn’t use Weibo much. The default account he logged into was an alt account An Xiaxia set up for him: Lord Xiaxia’s Young Pretty Wife.
He paused a little, then logged out of that account and switched back to his official one.
Since leaving s...o...b..z, the follower numbers hadn’t decreased, but instead had increased by a lot.
The last post was from years ago when Chi Yuanfeng had gotten his first best actor award. Sheng Yize and He Jiayu had both posted to congratulate him.
That post received millions of comments, all of them from his most loyal fans.
Sheng Yize typed a few lines, pinned a location, and tagged An Xiaxia’s Weibo ID.
After getting into the car, An Xiaxia’s phone kept dinging.
“What’s going on…” An Xiaxia mumbled, then saw that they were all Weibo message notifications.
She tapped open her Weibo and was shocked by all the comments, likes, and forwards!
OMG! There were thousands of them! She only had a few hundred followers on Weibo and most of them were her cla.s.smates or acquaintances. Why were there so many messages all of a sudden?
She refreshed the page and the number jumped to five figures.
It had only been a few seconds!
Her phone then crashed and the screen went black.
After restarting her phone and logging into Weibo again, she finally found out why.
Sheng Yize V: Mrs. Sheng, did you enjoy the fireworks tonight? @Adorable Lord Xiaxia.
Location: SN restaurant, Yu City.
An Xiaxia stared at it with an open mouth.
“Sheng Yize… I thought you liked to keep things low-key.”
He never liked showing off when he had been a celebrity back then.
Sheng Yize snorted. “Why would I want to keep a low profile about my proposal? The whole world needs to know that I love you!”
… That was such a powerful announcement!
An Xiaxia could see pink bubbles in the air. She refreshed the page and saw that she had received a private message.
It was from that person who hadn’t believed her.
“My Lord, forgive me. I’m going to patrol the mountain for you now!”
An Xiaxia replied with a “hahahahahaha” and felt oddly satisfied.
She finally understood why so many couples liked to show off their affection in public.
Because it was so satisfying!
Turning back to her phone, she quickly typed something and sent out her own post.
