12:30 PM.

Hakim shouted to the waiter from the balcony to get him another cup of coffee. Farah noticed the waiter running outside to answer a man loudly shouting to him; his unique voice caught her attention. "Who is that?"

"Hakim; The owner," the waiter said.

"That"s Hakim!" she said surprisingly. Farah got up to look but didn"t see him nor Malika. After the waiter finished the coffee, she went with him to the balcony where Malika and Hakim were sitting to find the balcony empty. "Where are they?!"

"I don"t know he was just here," the waiter said and looked around confused. He left the coffee on the table and went inside to look for him. After a couple of minutes, he came back and said, "Miss, the house is big, and I have to go back to the cafe, you look for them and if you need anything just shout."

Farah stood alone in the balcony confused after the waiter left her. She tried to call Malika"s phone, but she didn"t answer. She went inside to look for them in every room. "No way out," Farah said to herself.

The Nile was behind the house directly; the only door that led to the street was the one next to the café. She called Malika"s name a lot with no answer, she kept walking in the house and found a big brown door at the end of the second-floor hall. The door looked completely different from any other door in the house.

It looked like it was from another era, vintage dark brown door with many engraved hieroglyphics writings. Farah put her hand on it; she felt a little spark. She moved her hand away swiftly then looked at her palm frowning to find it glowing slightly with minor blue strings.

She shook her hand then grabbed the handle to open the mystery door. It slowly opened to reveal a gigantic library filled with thousands of books. Row after row neatly lined up with their spines facing outward. The door opened to a metal railing and stairs; she went down and took a deep look at this enormous room.

It was filled with a fresh coffee smell. The room had one door under the stairs with a burgundy couch across from it. The center wall was a gla.s.s one that showed the view of the Nile, in front of the wall was two burgundy Barcelona chairs.

She looked at the door beneath the stair; a strong light came from beneath it. she took a couple of steps toward it. She tried to open the door; it made a strong creak sound and opened slightly. She tried to open it fully but stopped when she heard the soothing sound of a woman murmuring a familiar melody to her.

She looked through the small open part; the strong bright light hit her eyes made her cringe hard. She couldn"t see anything. She attempted to open the door to know exactly what was behind it, but a sudden shouting stopped her; it was the waiter shouting in fear. She left the door and it closed right after she went running to see what was going on.

She went outside the house to find four police vehicles and two police officers talking to the waiter. "There she is!" the waiter pointed at Farah in fear.

"Get her," one of the officers told the soldier to get Farah into the vehicle. Farah tried to talk to the officer to understand what was going on, but he refused. The soldier dragged her without letting her look back.

1:50 pm.

It was intense at the police station. Farah was freaking out; she didn"t understand what was happening. No one told her why she was arrested. "Please let me talk to my family! It must be a mistake!" Farah begged the officer.

"You don"t look like a criminal but what you"re facing puts you in big trouble," the officer said, feeling the fear coming from her high-pitched voice.

"I have to call my father Please!" she kept begging him.

The officer looked at her sighing and said, "Fine, One call."

She got the phone on the desk and dialed her father"s number. "h.e.l.lo! papa! Help me! I"m at the police station in Aswan! Come and—"

"WHO IS THIS?!" Murad said, surprised.

"—what! I"m Farah!!" she said echoing her father surprised tone.

She was confused, she knew indeed this was her father"s voice. The officer noticed she was bewildered; he took the phone from her hand. "Mr. Murad Nizar?"

"Yes, who is this?!"

"I"m Gamal El Kareem, an investigation officer of Aswan security directorate, your daughter is here—" Murad interrupted him, "Officer, I don"t have a daughter!"

"—but she insisted that you"re her father and her ID has your name on it," Gamal said, holding her ID between his fingers. The officer ended the call after a minute of talking with Murad with just humming from his side. He stood up and eyed Farah quietly before heading outside the room. He told another Officer to call the Cairo security directorate immediately right after he slammed the door behind him.
