Malika.Aswan, Egypt.
"It"s not real…" she whispered to herself. She closed her eyes tightly and said, "His forearm, just like the dream."
"It wasn"t a dream Farah," Malika said and held Farah"s hand, looking deeply into her eyes.
Farah looked at her and opened her mouth to say something but stopped again by the voice inside her head. "Don"t listen to them…Don"t trust their words," the voice echoed into her ears.
"I"m sorry Meritamun," the man said with sorrow. His voice brought Farah back from her thoughts that started to sound like someone else; a deeper voice integrated with hers, yet it sounded like one sacred voice.
"What?" Farah said and closed her eyes trying to focus.
"That"s your name Farah, your real name," Malika said and looked at her.
"What are you saying? who is this man?" Farah said and looked back at her.
"I"m Addaya, and I"m the reason you all here. I made a mistake thinking I can control it, I thought I had enough power to alter reality…. But I destroyed everything," Addaya said and looked at the floor hiding his eyes from theirs.
"Destroyed everything," Farah echoed, staring at Addaya with brooding eyes. "Nothing is real…" Farah looked distant again with the echo of the voice ringing inside her head this time it indeed sounded just like her voice. Noah was watching her with a victorious smirk curled on the corners of his face.
"It will be easier to show you what happened," Hakim said and walked to a hidden door below the stairs and opened it. Everyone followed him one by one. Noah and Farah were the last ones. She was walking behind Malika with the same distant look, the voice was shaking her mind to the core.
"Farah," Noah"s voice was calm and deep. He sounded like a whole new person, she noticed how different he sounded. She stopped and turned to look at him with her eyes wide open. He closed the small distance between them and looked deeply into her eyes. He stood right across from her body, holding her left forearm.
Farah locked eyes with him. His eyes looked different; his brown eyes were greenish with an unreadable gaze. He moved his eyes from her and looked at his hand. He moved it slowly from her forearm to her hand. Under his firm grasp, bright blue strings appeared underneath her skin glowing beautifully under his hand.
Farah didn"t move her eyes from his face. He looked different, his gaze and features looked different. She recognized his brown greenish eyes; she sensed a huge sense of familiarity and comfort. His eyes went back to meet hers, a tension-filled with their gazes. His hand was holding her hand tightly. "Rise, your royal divine." the voice said.
Shining blue strings started to appear slowly across her arms and shoulder till her neck. It was shining through her t-shirt, his eyes moved with the slow appearance of the strings. He looked at her side and saw the shining blue light coming from her back. His eyes went back to hers and then took a deep breath while it moved down to her red plump lips.
"Are you guys done kissing?" Malika said loudly and both turned their heads toward the door where Malika was standing on the other side.
"Huh?" Farah said and looked again at Noah then at their tightly interlocked hands. "What?!" she said and moved her hands quickly and walked to the other side followed by Noah who had the widest smile on his face.
On the other side of the door was a block of whiteness with no end to it, everyone stood ten feet away from the door. Hakim looked at them. "It all started in 1774 when Donggun"s powers start to resurface." Hakim finished his sentence and the block of whiteness changed into an actual real place; The kingdom of Joseon. Everything was frozen; no sound, no movement as if they were standing in a wax figures exhibit.

"Donggun," Noah said to Hakim and raised his eyebrows.
"That"s him." Hakim pointed at a man standing in the middle of the street next to a Buddhist monk. They walked to him. He had a tall athletic body, long silky black hair in a high bun, and he was wearing a black swordsman outfit along with a sword wrapped around his waist. "Donggun was in his mid-20s, he was a skilled swordsman in the year of 1774," Hakim explained.
"1774!" Farah looked around, not entirely believing what was around her.
"Donggun is a time traveler, and because of me; he was stuck in your era," Addaya said and put his hand on Donggun"s shoulder. "I drained him out of his powers and…" Malika held Addaya"s arm to stop him.
"It was Donggun false too; you guys have to see everything first. In the first full moon festival, Donggun"s life changed forever and that"s when it all started," Malika said with a dull face.
"Wait! Donggun should be here!" Addaya said to Malika.
"He won"t be here," Malika said and looked at Hakim.
"When did you meet my dad?"
"Well…" Malika looked nervous; she was hiding something.
