Lu Li had been focusing on the situation inside after he was let out. So, he sent in words just in time when Naka was trying to surrender to Lu Suan.
If Naka really wanted to surrender, it should do it to Lu Li. What kind of thing was that to surrender to Lu Suan who was Lu Li"s captive? Of course Lu Li would be upset.
The two parties re-engaged in brutal battle. Lu Li retracted his psychic power and started to hunt down the Asmodian army on the outside.
That was right!
He was hunting down on them. There were 2000 Asmodians outside but they were being chased by Lu Li alone. Not long after Naka and the others were sucked in, the Asmodians began to flee in disorder.
Naka was the prince and commander of Asmodians. When the commander was captured and was about to be killed, morale was naturally undermined.
At first, so many Asmodians were fighting so desperately because they had their eyes on the thane position Naka promised. Now that Naka"s situation was unknown, who would they turn to for the thane position?
Of course, some did try to save Naka. But they all gave up after Lu Li killed more than 100 using psychic power.
Naka and the other four Asmodians sucked in were the most powerful in the Asmodian army. The average Asmodians were naturally scared when the strongest were killed.
The Asmodians might be punished and even sentenced to death back to the Eastern Land of Oceans over Naka"s capture and death. But what if the king of Asmodians gave them a way out and showed them mercy? There was a chance to live and go back but they felt the possibility of dying here was 100%.
For those Asmodians, Lu Li had become an undying demon for he had murdered nearly 1000 Asmodians and captured Naka. They would only be courting death by confronting Lu Li.
Morale was critical in fights. Once the morale was undermined and one began to run, the others would follow suit, which would lead to a comprehensive escape and final failure.
Lu Li felt mentally tired but he would not let go of such a good chance. He began to chase down the Asmodians to secure the achievement.
"Charge!"
After a while, from the mountains to the east suddenly came a loud roar. Following that, many human warriors swarmed out like crazy from the mountains. Lu Li was delighted to see it was Ye Luo at the forefront.
Ye Luo had led the human army to nearby silently and had refrained from coming out too early. This action earned Ye Luo new respect from Lu Li.
The future Family Patriarch of the Tumulus of Universe was something. At least, he was quite proficient in commanding a big army.
"Lu Li~"
Jiang Qiling shouted to him from the distance. Lu Li waved to her to let her know that everything was okay and stop her from coming over.
Lu Li was covered in blood but it all came from Asmodians. He himself wasn"t wounded. "Ye Luo, bring someone to intercept Asmodians at their base camp to cement our results!" Lu Li shouted.
As junkyard dogs, the 2000 Asmodians were low spirited. If they could not make it back to their base camp, a large amount of them would be slayed.
"Come with me!"
Bringing Lu Lin, Lu Hongyu and a dozen more with him, Ye Luo rushed toward the Asmodians" base camp. Lu Li joined hands with the other human warriors and began to chase the Asmodians all over the place.
There were less than 1000 human warriors but they were unstoppable when hunting down 2000 Asmodians. All human warriors were excited and pa.s.sionate. Lu Li could face 3000 Asmodians and defeat them by himself. What was there to be afraid of?
Morale of the Asmodians decreased even more when they saw so many human warriors and heard so many yells of killing from all sides. Asmodians were afraid to fight with humans and the only thing left on their mind was to run away. Some Asmodians heard that Lu Li was sending someone over to the base camp to intercept them so they didn"t even dare to go back and began to flee to all directions.
Human warriors used the same deployment with four or five in a group, strong both in offense and defense. In this way, it might be slower for them to kill Asmodians but at least they wouldn"t be at a disadvantage.
More than half of Asmodians were running toward their base camp and the smaller portion were running to all sides. Lu Li led the army and hunted down Asmodians, pressing forward toward the base camp. The teleportation portal out of the small battlefield was about to open. This might be their very last fight. Naturally, Lu Li hoped he could gain more points.
Jiang Qiling flew over to Lu Li. Jiang Hu had been protecting her by her side. Lu Li told the two to stand on his Fate Wheel and asked Jiang Hu to release his Bead of Life to attack.
Lu Li hunted his way down. He met some resistance every now and then but those Asmodians were all beaten. There were some casualties on the human side but more turned a blind eye to the fact. They were all acting like some drugged lunatics, yelling and screaming and chasing down Asmodians.
After pressing forward for about 30 miles, they arrived at the base camp. From the front suddenly came countless little black swords. It was Ye Luo who was using his Killer Swords Bloodline skill. Those swords b.u.mped into many Asmodians, blasted them and stopped them from running away.
The other human warriors marched on from behind. The b.l.o.o.d.y battle started thusly. Lu Li was already mentally exhausted but he had to come to rescue all the time. Comprehensively speaking, the human side was weaker. If Lu Li didn"t lend a helping hand, many human warriors would meet their demise here.
The battle lasted for two hours. Eventually, some Asmodians made their way back to the base camp. Making sure that there were no more Asmodians nearby, Lu Li gave an order to retreat.
Lu Lin cleaned the battlefield with some while Lu Hongyu helped with healing the wounded and rescued the dying. Ye Luo brought someone with him to look around for escaped Asmodians.
Lu Li didn"t fly on his own any more. He and Jiang Qiling hopped onto Jiang Hu"s Bead of Life and they began their way back to their own base camp slowly.
Lu Li was so weak that he wanted to sleep right now. But it was not a moment for slumber so he fought against it. He finally had time to inspect the situation inside the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d after the battle has ended.
Lu Li pouted as soon as he saw what it was like inside with psychic power. He was dissatisfied.
Naka and the other Asmodian was killed. The two didn"t make a contribution. Lu Suan and the others were still alive. But Lu Ni and Yang Xuan did get wounded. By the looks of it, Yang Xuan was poisoned, even though he should be fine judging by his condition. The only remaining attendant to Ji Mengtian died. There were only five people left in the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d. All the attendants had deceased.
"Such a pity…if only Naka could be less disappointing and killed the five."
Lu Li sighed. For one second, he had an idea. He was wondering if he should release the five including Lu Suan to the base came of the Voodoo Race or the Feather Race and let them be killed by alien races.
Of course, Lu Li gave up the flas.h.i.+ng idea. Now everyone knew he was the one that had capture the five. If the five died in such an unreasonable way, he would still be blamed.
"Never mind~"
Taking a look at Jiang Qiling who was sitting by his side, Lu Li let go of his idea of killing the five for now. He must leave the Demon-slaying City first and act accordingly. If it all went wrong, he would kill the five then to keep him company on the way to the nether world.
Soon, the final result of the battle came out. Altogether, nearly 2000 Asmodians were killed, among which half died in the hands of Lu Li alone. Another 100 human warriors deceased. All of them were at the Eternal Realm with low abilities.
"Let"s have a rest now. Many people are wounded. We shall go back to our base camp when we are fully rested and then leave the small battlefield!"
They flew for 30 miles when Lu Li saw a small valley and gave the order. All the human warriors landed there with no one doubting Lu Li"s command.
Lu Li had fought against 3000 Asmodians and slayed more than 1000 of them by himself and defeated the army. To the rest of human warriors, he was no different than a G.o.d. Who would disobey him now?
