After finishing her meal, Eluraa walked around for a bit. There were several interesting shops. There were stalls selling different herbs, required for alchemy. Some stalls were selling mineral ores and precious metals. These were heavily used by the weapon smiths and engineers. There were even shops selling different combat art manuals.Looking at these, Eluraa was wondering about the status of her basic flame spells. Previously, her blood academy alchemy instructor had given her some basic spells and a set of common grade alchemy equipments for practise.
"Ahh. Too bad. I didn"t even get to show him my spell casting skills. Hmm.. Maybe I should return back and check if I am still able to maintain the level 2 intensity common grade flame for 2 hours. Actually I should try a few of my spells and get an idea about what I can and cannot use with my current abilities."
Also, she was getting a bit overwhelmed and tired from being in crowded areas. Deciding to explore the rest of the city later, Eluraa walked back to her inn, "I wonder what those guys are upto.."
As she stepped inside the inn, she saw Max lazing on the lounge area, "He is probably waiting for me." She went near him and greeted him. She wanted to first thank him properly for rescuing them.
But, before Eluraa could say anything, Max got up from his seat and started walking out, "mmm.. You are back. You should go see the combat expert school in this city for your new cla.s.s schedule. Both you and Shi Meng will be attending training here starting tomorrow."
Leaving Eluraa staring at his back, Max left the area in record breaking time. At a loss for words, she could only shake her head and head upstairs.
"Heh.. Why am I still not used to his behaviour .. Too bad I couldn"t ask him for more details regarding the attack on the academy. Wonder if we had any other survivors from that incident."
Lost in her thoughts, Eluraa slowly walked over to her room. To her surprise, the rooms of the other two were still locked. She decided to take a long shower first to clear her body and mind, before settling down to a.n.a.lyse all her spells.
"Finally! I get to have some peace and quiet .. okay, first I should try all of the common grade spells. Hmm.. Wish I could use that nasty dragonling as a practise dummy, to make things more interesting."
Grinning to herself, Eluraa started casting her spells one by one. She first organised her spells as common grade, high grade, rare grade, epic grade and disaster grade spells. She was able to refine most of the common grade spells and make them instant cast-able.
The high grade spells required a bit of casting time but she was free to move around while casting them. Her rare grade spells required a decent amount of casting time and preparation. But, most of them were extremely powerful and could instantly kill even a level 100 enemy.
The epic grade spells also required long casting time and preparation. But, apart from that, they further required some amount of soul strength contribution. These were extremely powerful and can kill almost thousand level 100 enemies.
As her last resort, Eluraa had designed three disaster grade spells. All three of these spells require self-sacrifice and were extremely powerful. They were capable of taking out enemies hundred times stronger than her level.
Currently, her biggest problem was her low mana level. With about 500 mana, she was able to cast only one common grade spell. And moreover, it takes about an hour to regenerate 600 mana.
More importantly, all her defensive spells were high grade spells and she needed to at the least reach level 30 to be able to cast them. Making a mental note to focus more on hand to hand combat, Eluraa then tried her disfigurement spell.
Unfortunately, that also turned out to be a high grade spell and was not cast-able at the moment. "Wait a second. Max has always seen me before with a disfigurement spell. Now that I haven"t cast any, I should definitely look different. Seriously ! Is he so indifferent that he didn"t even notice this!?!"
Perplexed with Max, Eluraa decided to stop for the moment and settle for a good night"s sleep. With the limited information she had, she was afraid of a long day awaiting her tomorrow....
Serene orange rays filled her room early morning and gently woke Eluraa up. She quickly got ready and enquired the inn keeper regarding the location of the city"s combat expert school. The inn keeper was actually surprised.
"I have lived here for 20 years now. I don"t think there is a combat expert school in the city. I think you are misinformed kid ! Maybe you are looking for individual houses ? There are sword mastery, spear mastery, staff mastery and other mastery houses located near the central area. Are you perhaps looking for one of these?"
Being unsure herself, Eluraa thanked the inn keeper and decided to maybe check out on of these mastery houses. She did want to work on her physical combat strength and the sword mastery house would be a good place to start with.
"Hmm.. So weird. Where did these two guys disappear ? I haven"t seen them all of yesterday and not even today morning. Oh well. Let me first try to figure out this combat expert school location."
