Opening his eyes, Magna recognised the roof above him. It"s the same house in the ruins in which he and the girls stayed in. Trying to sit up, he suddenly grimaced in pain as he felt as if his entire body was made of lead.

Giving up, Magna hoa.r.s.ely muttered, "…How did I get here? Where are the girls? Are they okay?"

Suddenly, the door opened, revealing an injured Argo and tired Luna.

Magna looked at his sisters and felt a huge influx of emotions. However, before he could say anything, Luna screamed, "HE"S AWAKE!!!"

Argo and Luna dropped whatever they were doing and rushed over to Magna. Seeing that they were fine, Magna smiled. However, his smile didn"t last long as the girls suddenly started crying.

Before he could ask what"s wrong, Argo screamed, "You IDIOT!!! How could you do this to your self!?! You almost died out there!!!"

Luna didn"t say anything but continued to cry her heart out. A feeling that Magna couldn"t explain appeared in his heart as tears gathered in his eyes and he muttered, "I"m… I"m sorry. I just wanted to protect you guys."

Wiping away the tears in her eyes, Argo sniffled and said, "…I know. And I"m… really happy and glad that you"re alright."

Luna suddenly collapsed to the ground next to Magna. This freaked Magna out as he quickly tried to sit up, ignoring the pain it put him through. However, Argo stopped him and said, "She"s fine. She only collapsed because she"s tired. After your fight, Luna managed to catch you before you fell to your death. Then she dragged the both of us back here and has been looking after us this entire time."

Magna relaxed as he realised it wasn"t that serious. He stared at Argo and asked, "…How long have I been out?"

Reluctance appeared in Argo"s eyes but decided he need to know as she bitterly said, "2 weeks."

Magna"s heart dropped. 2 weeks… 2 freaking weeks.

Luckily, Argo knew what was bothering him and rea.s.sured him as she said, "Luna knew how you wanted to check and see if your family was alright. So once I awoke, she left and followed your scent for a couple hours until she came across your village."

Taking a deep breath, she continued, "There"s good news and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first."

Magna didn"t even hesitate as he said, "The bad."

Nodding, Argo quickly reiterated what Luna told her, "The entire village was torn to the ground. She also found a couple bodies inside some of the houses. Luckily, none of the bodies smelt remotely similar to your scent."

Letting loose a small sigh, Magna said, "Then the good news?"

Argo suddenly smiled as she said, "Luna found tracks just outside your village of a large group of people walking in the direction of another settlement. The settlement is quite far from here but given that it"s been 2 weeks, they should have arrived a week ago. And that"s not even the best part."

Argo"s smiled seemed to grow even more as she happily said, "Three of the people travelling with that group seemed to match your scent."

Argo was expecting to see Magna happy that his family was alive yet all he did was lie in his bed with a dazed expression. Before she could ask what"s wrong, Magna blankly muttered, "Three? But that would mean…"

Suddenly, a huge smile broke out on his face as he cheerfully laughed. His aura even flared up, causing Argo to feel what he was feeling. Happiness, giddiness, anxiousness and the most predominant emotion he was feeling, joy.

Magna even seemed to completely forget he was injured as he wrapped Argo up in a warm hug as he spun her around and said, "My mother gave birth! I"m a big brother now!"

Argo realized why he was so happy and began smiling as well. She hugged him tightly and cheerfully said, "Congratulations, Magna."

After a couple minutes, Magna released Argo from his embrace and realized that his injures don"t appear to hurt as much anymore. When he told Argo about this, she wasn"t very convinced and quickly began checking his body while Magna blissfully thought to himself, "Ahhhh… Naruto"s healing factor is pretty OP~"

Once she was sure he wasn"t faking it, Argo just stated at Magna in surprise as his body seemed to be healing at an extremely fast rate. What puzzled her, however, was the fact that his body didn"t start healing until now as for the last two weeks, he was still injured.

Shaking her head, she decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth and just accept the fact that her big brother was well and awake. Giggling, she grabbed Magna"s hand and said, "Come with me, Magna. There"s something I wanna show you."

Allowing himself to be dragged outside, Magna suddenly stood shocked at the sight before him. Just around the perimeter of the ruins were walls of ice. Each wall was slight slanted, reaching about 4 stories into the sky with three spikes at the top that resembled claws. The walls seemed to cover an entire 360 radius around the ruins and seemed to emulate a whirlpool.

Magna"s head snapped to Argo for an explanation but all he saw was her laughing at him. When she finished laughing, she smiled and said, "Apparently, Luna awakened her semblance. It"s exactly the same as mine except she uses a different element, which is ice. Once she brought the both of us here, she spent an entire day constructing this fortress of ice. That"s why she could confidently leave us to search for your family."

Magna suddenly felt choked. Luna spent an entire day building this so that he and Argo were safe while she bravely searched for clues on his family. He lowered his head as tears gathered in his eyes. Wiping the tears away, there and then, Magna vowed to always be the best big brother for the twins that he can be.

Just as Magna was about to go back inside, he felt something stare at him. He didn"t know how he knew but he snapped his head towards the ice spire in front of him. Perched above one of the claws was a black bird that seemed to be staring directly at him. Magna and the bird stared directly into each others eyes for a good minute until the bird just gave up and flew away.

He couldn"t really explain it but Magna felt that something annoying would happen if he allowed that bird to stay there. What was really puzzling was the fact Magna could tell that the bird wasn"t here for trouble. It seemed to be… observing him and the girls.

Shaking the thought out of his head, Magna went back inside the house as he yelled, "Argo, do we have anything to eat? I"m starving!"
