He went towards Amara"s room with everybody in tow. He told them to stay back as he opened the door. It was really as bad as Maania said. She was reading a book but it was upside down. It also looked like she was staring into nothing. Like all color left her eyes. The window was open and she was sitting on the window frame. Any person could see she hadn"t got any more tears to shed. He walked up towards her and placed his hand on her head, "Hey Amara."
She looked up with dead eyes and saw Annixon. All light returned at once, "Oh no, an Undead…"
She nearly fell out the window as Annixon grabbed her, "I am too tired for this c.r.a.p. No, I am not an undead. Just close to being dead."
"How? You went underground. You should be dead."
"Mage extraordinaire, remember? Being buried alive isn"t enough to kill this fugly little guy."
"Are you telling me you have been playing us this whole time?!"
Annixon sighed and explained the situation to her. After he had finished, she was already snuggled up against him, "My reading partner is back…thank you for coming back. I am still angry that you left us in the first place."
"I told you guys I was off to face the nasty beasty. I just miscalculated that there might have been a meaner beasty."
He placed his hand on her head again, "I still have to see two others. We can talk all you like later on."
She smiled, "Can I come with?"
He smiled back, "You are more than welcome to."
Sinah went back into the mansion to get some water when she saw a pretty sprightly Juliza. She took a sip of her juice she got for herself when she saw Sinah, "Morning, did you want some?"
Sinah lost a lot of her emotion, "The h.e.l.l do I want your drink? I can get it myself!"
Juliza clicked the problem, "Ah, I see. You might want to go upstairs. There is someone who would like to meet you."
Sinah was confused by the statement. She went up the stairs where she saw Annixon being followed by the group, but truthfully, she only saw Annixon and removed her daggers and charged towards Annixon, "I rather see Annixon dead than a walking dead!"
Annixon scowled at her, "You too, huh?"
He used a powerful wind to send her flying backward. She flipped in the air to correct her landing. Anastacia intercepted her. Sinah wasn"t having any of it, "That is a disgrace to Annixon and you are defending it!?"
Anastacia slapped her, "That is the bona fide Annixon…We kind of buried him alive."
There was a moment of silence between the two before the realization hit her. She smiled at Anastacia and walked past her. She seethed her blades and stood right in front of him. Annixon smiled at her.
She straight up punched him in the face, "I am supposed to have looked after you. You left us all. You are always doing this. What, you think we get some kind of sick kick out of your suffering. You think its fun to always see you taking all the heat!?"
By now she was crying pretty heavily, "I have known you for almost a month. A MONTH! And I am already hating the fact that I wasn"t there to protect you…"
The entire group went silent, as she continued, "We thought we lost you. Do you have no sympathy for our feelings, or is this about stupid vanity that you always do that crazy c.r.a.p you always do?... The decay is no laughing matter. We have to be one if we intend to face that."
She hugged him hard, "I don"t ever want to lose you ever again. You are too important to us all…to this world. You will be the driving force behind the change, and we will be there to support you. Rely on us more."
She smiled looking into his eyes, "You will never go without an escort ever again. Even if you think it"s too dangerous. We will become stronger. To become your personal warriors if need be."
Though the punch stung he felt the raw emotion coming from her speech, "Okay, it"s a deal."
She smiled back, "Good our leader is back. Now we need your smarts for a new ally. Athena is a very well-known warrior across the continent. If we are to move forward, she would be a prime choice for the alliance."
They all went down to prepare some breakfast and left Annixon to talk to Athena.
He knocked on her door, "It open."
He opened the door and saw her looking out the window. Annixon walked up to her and said, "Hey, how you feeling."
She turned and smiled, "I heard you and the gang going off. Man, it"s good to see that my savior is well and fine."
"I am truly sorry for your loss. I should have been quicker. I should have expected it."
She placed her hands on his, "As adventurers, this was an immutable fact of life. If you continue on the path, expect the worst. I was self-centered and prideful. One last big victory. Nearly got my team killed, but I was willing to sacrifice myself for every last one of them, and in the end, the reverse happened. The irony isn"t last on me…I am twenty-seven years old and not once have I considered settling down. I had plenty of possible suitors but I rejected them all. I was too focused on my career…I haven"t even kissed well anyone ever."

"Kind of a sad tale for someone at the age of twenty-seven."
She smiled and turned towards him, "I have decided to stop. I have lost allies before, but not to this extent. I intend to settle down and just teach others the trick of the trade. When I saw you in action, I could have sworn you were some kind of G.o.d in my eyes. No wonder so many girls flocked to you. At least there is one less b.a.s.t.a.r.d in this world and one good man stood triumphantly, albeit it was a bit close. If you will have me will you take me? I will be your sword and shield, your confidant, and no, I ain"t jealous of the other girls. Just allow me to follow you."
"I was planning to do that in the first place, well to recruit you that is. Welcome to the Alliance."
