Meanwhile...A speeding motorcycle drifted, causing the motorcycle crash forward while leaving the rider behind. Fortunately, the biker was fully geared hence, aside from a minor injury, he was safe.
Earlier, for a second, a shadow crossed the road. The reason the rider avoid it that caused his crash.
Slowly, he rolled up his helmet"s visor and looked around. Seeing that no one was around, he a.s.sisted himself up with a slight difficulty.
"Ugh..." He grunted, moving his shoulder in a circular motion carefully. Although he didn"t inflict major injuries, part of his body was hurt because of the impact of his crash.
He then limped towards his still functioning motorcycle. He needed to get far away before anyone would drive in this way.
When the rider reached his vehicle, he clenched his teeth as he pulled the huge bike up. Just as he balanced it, he heard a woman"s voice from behind.
"Mister, are you alright?" Churu tilted her head to the side as she asked. However, her pair of argent eyes bore zero concern on the person"s well-being.
When her words a.s.sailed his ears, the rider flinched a little as he slowly turned his head to her direction. Seeing that she was quite a shorty, that was around 157 centimeters in height, his stiffed shoulder relaxed.
As an answer, the man nodded his head and returned his attention back to his half wrecked motorcycle. Checking the engine, a sigh escaped from his mouth as he was relieved that it was still functioning.
So, without further ado, the person hitched on the motorcycle. However, just as he did, he nearly jolted out of the vehicle when Churu held on to the handlebar.
"W — what?" He stuttered as he turned to Churu"s harmless front.
"Mister, are you really okay?" Sounding concerned, Churu blinked her eyes as she stared at his eyes behind the tilted visor.
"Yes! Let go." His voice thundered, intimidating Churu which seemed to be effective as Churu hopped a step back.
"Okay~!" Churu saluted as a large grin formed on her delicately youthful face. The man looked at her for a second before he revved up the motorcycle.
As the noise of the engine sounded good enough, the man slowly maneuvered the vehicle ahead. Alas, just as the wheels took its first circulation, it stopped causing his foot to land on the concrete ground so not to lose his balance.
Turning his head to the cause of his abrupt halt, his eyes widened seeing that Churu was holding on to the rear cowl.
"Sir, my conscience will not let me sleep knowing you"re not fine. Let"s get you treated!" Churu suggested as a disheartened sigh escaped her tiny lips.
"No!" Without a second delay, the man"s thunderous voice resonated as he refused and turned the throttle to move ahead but to no avail. The wheels screeched, blackening the concrete surface, dust fogged behind.
"That won"t do." Churu shook her head sideways as she set her argent eyes on him. No matter how he turned the throttle, he wouldn"t move an inch as she was stopping it to.
"You!" Alarmed by her superhuman strength, the person desperately attempted to move ahead but it was all for naught. Therefore, upon that realization, the man jerked out of the motorcycle and to his surprise, it remained balanced as she held on to it with one hand effortlessly.
"Monster..." he murmured as he ran for his life. He didn"t have the leisure to question how and who she was as his instinct told him to run far away first.
He couldn"t be caught because the more he thought about those pair of argent eyes, the man found it more creepy. Hence, he needed to run before some authorities find him.
"Hey, don"t be scared!" Suddenly, Churu appeared in front of him. The man looked up and see no trees or surface available for her to hop on. Yet, when she appeared in front of him, she came from above.
It was impossible that she jumped from her standpoint, right?
Taking a step back, the man wordlessly turned around and ran, alas, he slumped to the ground with his bottom the moment he did. "H—how... impossible..." he muttered as he slowly looked up and Churu was there.
It was her, no doubt. The person even checked his behind and Churu wasn"t there anymore — scratching the idea that she has a twin.
"It is. Don"t worry, I didn"t come to harm you." Churu squatted down as she offered a bright grin plastered on her lips.
"W — what do you want?" Slipping back, the man kept his distance as he was afraid of the uncertainty of her prowess.
If this happened under different circ.u.mstances, he wouldn"t be this terrified. Perhaps he would even laugh it off as it was silly and impossible.
However, he just attempted to cause an accident earlier. Therefore, the police were still around the area and he might be found out if he lingered around longer.
What"s more? This young lady stopped his motorcycle with one hand, and despite his head start, she suddenly appeared in front of him in broad daylight!
"I need a phone." Ignoring the obvious shock slowly creeping out on his face, Churu said with a smile. Yet, the man was just staring at her mindlessly as if he had seen a ghost.
"I said your phone." Repeating her words, Churu rolled up the helmet"s visor, snapping him back from his trance.
"Ahh..." Having his lower lip trembling, the man tried to speak but words wouldn"t come out. Hence, Churu clicked her tongue and groped on his chest and then pockets.
When she touched something solid on his jacket, Churu wordlessly took it out. Glad that it was a phone, Churu gave it to him.
"Pa.s.sword." She said with a smile. The man took several seconds to process what happened before he altered his gaze from her smiling front to the phone in her hand.
"Come on, or I"ll throw you straight to h.e.l.l." Despite her cute tone, Churu"s words seeped natural viciousness.
