It was embarra.s.sing the way he reacts. He didn"t expect to be greeted by a very pa.s.sionate nose bleed event as soon he walked in the room. It was really different experiencing it live and up close compared to movies and pa.s.serby. Obviously, all his family business related to prost.i.tution was handled by Oata. Call him pure or innocent, it was not his fault. He grew up without a mother and his father been alone since his mother died, so this kind of scene never occurred in Touma household. Everyone act in their best behaviour there.Ando nudged him gently, brought his sense back. Touma awkwardly cleared his throat before walked neatly to the couple. He gave them a slight bow.
"Good morning Mr Hinode, Mrs Hinode" he worked really hard to maintain his eye contact intact to them.
"Good morning, Touma. Are you okay?" he wouldn"t let the opportunity slide to tease young man in front of him. The redness on his face recedes to his normal colour.
"I"m okay. Thank you for your concern." Touma politely replied.
"We leave Kahina in your care, can we?" Touma nodded to him before the couples walk out.
Kahina can"t contain her laugh anymore and let it burst out for a second and stop by the sharp pain on her chest. She clasps her fist to it to ease out the pain. A few coughs add more pain to her. "d.a.m.n it" she cursed inside.
Touma instantly approached her and rub his hand to her back to stop the cough. Now, Kahina felt her pain was blessed. It is her who always initiates the touch or skinship but this time it was him. She was hoping the cough to go a bit longer but it was really jealous of her, it decides to stop. "Stupid cough! When I need it, it was gone," she jeered to herself.
"Are you feeling better? Should I call the doctor?" his worried words were like a song to Kahina"s ears. She shook her head. "Never in the world, would I let a doctor ruin my happy moment right now" she doesn"t want to hear the doctor ridiculous boring rants about her. She wants Touma"s. She smiles at him lovingly.
Touma looks at her sweet smile. It is beautiful the same way as before. The same smile he wished to see. He misses the smile. He misses the beautiful cheery woman in front of him. Seeing her smile, really warm his cold heart.
"I miss you..." he unconsciously let it out from his chest. He never intended it for Kahina"s ears but more to ease his tight chest. As soon as the words flew from his mouth, he froze again. He couldn"t believe he said it out loud. Touma"s ears slowly turn red but he tried to act as it never happened.
Did he think Kahina would let it go unnoticed? Of course not. It was an opportunity she didn"t expect she could enjoy. Why on earth she would give up on it.
"What did you just say? I barely heard you,"
"Nothing," he glared at her.
"No, you did say something," she smiles naughtily.
"No, I did not," he avoids Kahina"s eyes.
"I heard you said you miss me," she moves her eyebrows up and down taunting him.
"You heard wrong," he curtly answered
"So, you did not miss me?" she probed.
"I didn"t say that." he hesitated for a while.
"Then you miss me?" she tilts her head sideways with a cheeky smile and a puppy eyes to Touma. Touma could not cope with the cuteness finally give in to her.
"I did..." his voice was barely out.
"What?" she kept on enjoyed herself.
"I indeed miss you." he finally admits.
"See, I wasn"t so hard." she reaches his hand, squeeze it gently and he just let her.
"I miss you too..." she added.
"Please don"t do this anymore. I don"t think I can handle another shock." Touma tightens their grip.
"Do what? I was not really bad right admitting your feeling." she taught he was talking about her teased just now.
"No, this..." he pointed to Kahina"s entire body.
"Owh... but without this, you will never admit you miss me. I think it was a blessed from heaven." she smiles waiting for his reaction. He slowly shook his head denied her statement.
"Then, will you tell me you miss me again?" she asked.
Kahina is back! Look at how she spun everything to her liking. "How can she able to relate her accident with him missing her?" And again Touma chose to seal his mouth. He doesn"t want to give Kahina another word to spin.
Kahina chuckled sweetly looking at his response. It was so cute. She really wants to pull him to her embrace but it is not the time. "Patience, Kahina. Patience," this had become her mantra to face Touma.
"Okay. Let be serious. Tell me everything you got about this incident." She suddenly turns to a serious face but Touma ignored her. He took the vase on her bedside and walk to the bathroom to change it with the lilies he brought today. It has become his routine every time he visited Kahina. Kahina puzzled for a second and her lips curled up when she saw he put the vase back to its place with new fresh lilies.
"I love lilies!"
Her words brighten Touma"s eyes. He felt satisfied with her response.
"But lilies are normally given for the dead. You know funeral kind of flowers." and bomb! His face instantly turns red again. He can die from the embarra.s.sment he felt the start he saw her today. He didn"t know that. He thought it smell good and beautiful. So pure. Symbolize to Kahina wellness. He really wants to bury himself alive right now.
"I"m sorry... I didn"t know that," he replied weakly.
"It"s okay. I love it. It is beautiful." she lovingly consoles him.
"And you have me for your entire life to tell you these silly things." she let a sweet laugh out tease him but he didn"t mind it at all. Parts of him love the ways she teased him.
