Touma glanced to the watch on his wrist, sighing again for the hundreds time. He lost count how many dresses she tried and he gets agitated and bored waiting for her. They spend almost an hour inside just because Kahina thinks the dress wasn"t made for her.Obviously, on the business side, they did not tailor it for her but for all women. If she wanted something tailors, she could just ask but Kahina insisted to waste all their time for this annoying time-consuming shopping spree. But whatever makes the lady happy, at least he could compromise. That is what he thought.
Tap, tap, tap...
"I don"t think I like this," she walked to the platform and twirled a couple of time. It was a burgundy colour knee long plum dress hugging her, emphasized the curl she had but it is rather plain for her taste. She turned to Touma for a reaction or comment but he just stared at her while rubbing his beard.
"Touma! Say something!" she stomped her feet and pouted.
Touma signalled the loyal patience sales girl beside Kahina. She approached him and leaned down, closing the gap between them. Touma whispered to her and she nodded before leaving both of them alone.
Kahina was still standing on the platform facing the big mirror in front of her. She glanced to Touma through the mirror reflection a few times with smiles. Never in her wildest dream to had Touma accompanied her like this. Their kind of date always involves violence before such as shooting, training and working but yet, all of it was still enjoyable for both of them. And now, here they are, going out like a real date. Kahina bit the lips, shook her head gently to shake off the regret building up inside her. She wished all of this would never end but she realised, carefree Touma was only here. Far from his responsibilities and people he knew. She shook her head again.
"Nah! I will cherish every moment we had..."
"Daydream?" Big hands softly landed to her shoulders and directed her to face him. She looked up and pouted. Hoping for him to coax her.
Touma took a b.u.t.terfly design buckle belt and put it on her. Then, he clipped a b.u.t.terfly hair clip to her hair and finally he bowed down on one knee pulled the shoes she was wearing and replaced it with the dark yellow ankle boots.
"Now, you perfect." He turned her to face the mirror again. Her eyes dilated in awe. Indeed, now she looks perfect. Kahina slowly touched her hair, checked out the belt and put her leg out. Lips started curling wider while clapping playfully to him.
"Satisfied?"
"Yes!"
Touma walked to the cashier and paid for everything by cash. Looking at the cash, it startled the cashier. The dress she chose including the accessories and shoes were over twenty thousand dollars yet he had cash for it. It made the cashier glance at him confused. Normally, the client will pay by card because it was more convenient.
"Do you have any problem?" Touma frowned at her slow movement.
"What is wrong?" Kahina walked to Touma when she saw a perplexed face from the cashier.
"No problem, sir. I am sorry." She rushed and gave him the receipt.
Touma ambled out the shop not a second late; worried Kahina might change her mind about leaving. He would never understand how Kahina able to enjoy all of this. This is too tiring for him.
Kahina raced to keep up with his pace but their height difference made her effort useless. Finally, she decided to walk comfortably and followed him from behind. Well, the view from here was nice too. A strong, tall, robust silhouette and royalty aura attracted every eye around him. When she realized the way all women drooling over him, she felt a slight of sharp pain in her heart. She gritted her teeth and all of a sudden; she stopped. Stood there, unmoved.
When Touma couldn"t hear the tapping sound from behind him, he looked back. There she was, standing in the middle of the crowd with a pouting mouth. "What"s wrong this time?"
Touma slowly decreases the distance between them and patted her head.
"What is wrong?"
Kahina glared at him but didn"t say a word.
"Hungry?"
She shook her head.
"Thirsty?"
She shook again.
"Another dress?"
Again, shook.
"What is wrong, Love?"
"LOVE? He is cheating! This is not fair!" Her anger instantly subsided with the single word he used. Happiness started to fill her inside made her forget the reason she was pouting. Kahina is too weak for his attack like this.
"Why are you so handsome?!" She pushed him and stomped away, tried to stay angry but it seems impossible to.
"Huh?"
Touma lost for a moment towards her question. He narrowed his eyes puzzled. "Is it wrong being handsome? Why she is angry because of this."
He really doesn"t have any idea how to coax her if that was the reason she was angry. Kahina silhouette slowly faded among the crowd, Touma reached her hand but the hand he thought was Kahina"s actually wasn"t.
The woman was surprised and tried to retract her hand but she stopped when she was aware the man holding her was attractive.
Realizing his mistake, he immediately let go of the woman.
"I"m sorry. I got the wrong person." Without waiting for her reply, he dashed to look for Kahina but once again he was stopped by the woman. She was holding his arm with a sweet smile.
"I"m sorry. Can I have your number, please?"
"Huh?"
"I think we should be a friend."
"No, not interested." He once again tried to walk away but the woman blocked his path.
"Here is my number. Call me." He took the card from her. It is better to just go with the flow, so he can get rid of her and pursue Kahina. She may not go too far.
"Thank you," The woman gave him a flying kiss before leaving.
When he turned to resume catching up with Kahina, he startled to the bitter tomato red face before him. Kahina stood exactly in front of him right now.
"I just left you for a second, and you already flirt with another b.i.t.c.h?!"
