Chapter 454: Vomited
Two men in their forties came out from the operating room of the 64-slice CT scan with 3D-image reconstruction room and whispered something to each other.
They really were brothers. Even their reactions were the same. Zheng Ren glanced at them before ignoring their presence. He began to think about the prostate interventional embolization.
After more than ten minutes, the patient was done. The two brothers pushed away an old lady with white hair.
As they walked, they talked about something.
Their voices were very soft. Zheng Ren could not make most of it out. He only heard a few sentences.
It was probably because the hospital was too unethical that the doctors were also unethical. There was no nurse in the 64-slice CT scan with 3D-image reconstruction room to look after the old lady. If she fell, she would sue the hospital to death. She would sue the doctor to death!
“Sister Zhao, you’re here.” The operator walked out. When he saw a group of people waiting outside and a few foreigners, he was a bit stunned.
“Little Rock, you’re done? It’s our turn next,” said Sister Zhao.
“I’ve been busy all morning and haven’t even taken a sip of water.” The operator nicknamed Little Rock smiled and said, “Sister Zhao, are you doing everything on your own? I don’t have time. I’m so hungry.”
“You’re the only one who would say that to me. Hurry up and go eat. I don’t need you or need to conduct the scans either.” Sister Zhao smiled and pretended to kick him. “With the two big shots from the emergency room, there’s no need for us.”
“Uh… Sister, let me remind you that the machine is extremely expensive.”
“I’m the one who learned how to use the machine. I know it better than you. Hurry up and get lost. Don’t eat here.” As Sister Zhao said this, she, Su Yun, and Little Oliver carried the patient to the scan bed.
Little Rock went out to change his clothes doubtfully before heading out to eat.
He thought that Sister Zhao was joking with him.
Professor Rudolf Wagner pushed Su Yun aside and sat beside Zheng Ren. He stared at the 64-slice CT scan with 3D-image reconstruction screen with full concentration.
Su Yun did not argue with the professor. He just stood quietly behind Zheng Ren.
“Sister Zhao, go do your work. We’ll lock up after we’re done,” Su Yun said to Sister Zhao.
“I’m not at ease. If you accidentally break something, how will I ask you guys to compensate for it? This thing is very expensive,” Sister Zhao said with a smile.
Su Yun did not force her. He knew that Sister Zhao wanted to see the 64-slice CT scan with 3D-image reconstruction but just refused to admit it.
It was just like doing a normal CT scan. Sister Zhao looked at Zheng Ren skillfully operating the machine and sighed in her heart.
Young people nowadays were really amazing.
Under the premise that the division of labor in each department was becoming clearer and more detailed, the two monsters Zheng Ren and Su Yun were constantly appearing in the emergency ward. They had single-handedly started the patient’s diagnosis and treatment process.
After more than ten minutes, the scan ended. Little Oliver pushed the patient back to the ward alone.
Neither Su Yun nor Professor Rudolph Wagner made any move to help him.
Fortunately, with the help of a Chinese-American female overseas student, Little Oliver was confident enough that he would be able to find the emergency ward.
Zheng Ren moved his wrist and began to do the 64-slice CT scan with 3D-image reconstruction.
As he became more and more experienced, he did more and more 64-slice CT scans with 3D-image reconstruction. Zheng Ren’s technique and hand speed were far different than before.
Sister Zhao watched for a few minutes before she closed her eyes and sat to the side.
“Sister, what’s wrong?” Su Yun moved closer to Sister Zhao, but her eyes were fixed on the screen. Just like Professor Rudolf Wagner and Gao Shaojie, she did not want to miss even a single frame.
“Are your eyes playing tricks on you?” Sister Zhao looked away for a bit, trying not to feel nauseous.
“Sister, your vestibular nerve has not developed yet, right?” Su Yun made a joke with a serious expression. It was ignored.
“Why do I feel like Chief Zheng’s method is different from before?” Sister Zhao asked. “Two months ago, he came here to do the 64-slice CT scan with 3D-image reconstruction. I still remember a patient with liver cancer.”
“Yes, what about it?” Su Yun was mult.i.tasking. Apparently, most of the CPU was placed on Zheng Ren’s operation. The black hair on his forehead fluttered without the wind, as if it was cooling the high-speed CPU.
It was a little hard to concentrate, let alone talk to Sister Zhao on the side.
Therefore, Su Yun’s words were conditioned responses. Whatever Sister Zhao said, he merely answered unconsciously. He did not think about his responses to her.
“Last time, he was not as fast or accurate.” Sister Zhao glanced at Zheng Ren’s operation from time to time but did not dare to watch for too long. The images on the screen kept flas.h.i.+ng, making people confused and frustrated.
“Yes, that’s right.”
“This time, how can he be so fast?”
“People eventually improve, don’t they?” Su Yun answered casually.
Sister Zhao was angry and kicked Su Yun. She scolded him, “It’s only been two months and even I haven’t improved. How can he?”
Su Yun felt the pain and quickly smiled apologetically. “Sister, I’m not saying that you’re slow.”
With that, Su Yun said in a low voice, “The foreigner next to me is Professor Rudolf Wagner of Heidelberg University, a top professor in the global intervention discipline. Isn’t he watching him just like a student?”
Seeing that Sister Zhao was a little confused, Su Yun was also very anxious. He knew that he had chosen the wrong example.
Heidelberg University was a world-famous university. Unfortunately, not many Chinese people know of its existence.
Karl Marx’s name was known by almost everyone in China.
However, the fact that he graduated from Heidelberg University was probably not a known fact amongst its ten thousand people.
“The other one is Gao Shaojie, a professor in the Interventional Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Provincial Capital Medical University,” Su Yun said.
“Ah!” This time, Sister Zhao had a reaction.
Before Su Yun said that, Sister Zhao thought that Gao Shaojie was the Department Chief of a major hospital.
The towns.h.i.+p hospitals below came to Sea City General Hospital for further studies. All of them were very impressive. It was no wonder that Sister Zhao had misjudged them.
“Impressive, isn’t it? I’ll observe the boss while he does the 64-slice CT scan with 3D-image reconstruction scans. If not, I’ll report to you when I’m done,” Su Yun quickly said, running back to see Zheng Ren do the reconstruction.
Sister Zhao looked at the people present in a daze. She did not know what Heidelberg University was. However, the First Affiliated Hospital of Provincial Capital Medical University was the top medical university in the entire province.
A professor leading a group definitely had the t.i.tle of Deputy Director, but he had actually come to Sea City? No wonder he was puzzled.
Sister Zhao felt relieved in her heart but was not convinced. Two months ago, Zheng Ren had done the 4-slice CT scan with 3D-image reconstruction. She felt that he was already pretty good at it then.
However, she did not expect that two months later, she would get vertigo seeing him do it again.
This did not feel fair to her.
After taking a few more glances, Sister Zhao still felt that her brain was full of mush and her stomach was churning. It was the same feeling as car sickness.
She quickly closed her eyes and did not dare to look anymore.
