Draig had been in deep thought since seeing that new Avatar manifest in is Hybrid Form it was odd to him that he would be such a abnormality in this world. He may have been special in his old world but he hadn"t been something that had no precedent, but here he was as a Deva baring three Avatars.
"I need more information, there has to be something that can explain this. . . ." thought Draig though that was only part of his thoughts.
The other being why couldn"t he fully Manifest the new Avatar, it hadn"t been hard with the Legion nor the brush. He had merely needed to grasp the blade and learn of their aspects and proper useage but with this new one it hadn"t Manifested beyond an outline.
"Stubborn old b.a.s.t.a.r.d, always have to be the toughest huh. . . " thought Draig as he recalled the training and then the beatings.
"Draig. . . ." called a familiar voice causing the Vampire to turn and see Ginji with Aoi not far behind.
Draig looked at him but didn"t say anything, the Graveforger had made his stance clear. He was against the Vampire and as such he wouldn"t waste his breath on this person.
"Hey, what"s with that look." growled the Graveforger seeming to have forgotten his action that day as well as his ignoring of the Feratu.
Even though the smith had yelled at him Draig didn"t say anything, he would be fine as he was for the past two weeks now that he had gotten over his depression.
"I came to apologize you a.s.s" roared Ginji with steam seemingly pouring from his nostrils.
The admission caused Draig to sigh and finally decide to speak.
"There is no need to apologize, you have chosen your path. While I wallowed in self loathing you hated me for something out of my control, blaming me for swinging a blade that I never touched. Not once did you think of the care that I showed by restoring your hand and healing a fatal wound on your sister, two things that you care about more than your own life saved by me in one act." stated Draig without looking at the Grave Forger.
Ginji growled at having his own screw up thrown back in his face, he didn"t mean to hold a grudge it"s just he didn"t know who else to blame. Sure the Disciplinary Committee was an obvious choice but it was only the act of one person and he was dead, thus the blame naturally fell onto the next person involved which just so happened to be Draig.
"I am sorry, I didn"t know who else to blame. Tsukuba is dead and the only other person at the heart of the incident was you, I know it was wrong for us to abandon you when you were perhaps feeling more beat up about it then we were but I am here now to right that mistake. I am wis.h.i.+ng to return to the old status between us" stated Ginji as he walked around to sit in front of Draig before bowing his head.
"I wish to be your smith again. . . ." stated Ginji without pulling his head up.
This is the scene that Junko and her siblings and cousins arrived to see, they were surprised to see how Draig had grown since they had last seen him. Though it had taken them a week to settle in to the Academy and get their baring with the new routine.
However upon seeing this scene they were all in a state of confusion, what kind of person had Draig become to have someone beggin to be his smith. Was he that formidable? Did he have so much sway in this Deva academy that even being his smith was considered a place of power?
These questions had the Heirs of Subaras.h.i.+ in a state of doubt but it was too late for them to think of leaving as Draig"s eyes locked onto them and narrowed dangerously.
"h.e.l.lo Junko, to what do I owe this visit from your greedy and traitorous Dynasty" asked Draig as the appearance of the Subaras.h.i.+ Heirs was obviously a sign of trouble.
Junko and the others seemed to be taken aback by such open hostility shown to them and the words he used seemed to paint the picture that they had somehow betrayed him.
"Such smooth lies slip from your mouth but then again what should I expect from a true traitor" coutnered Junko causing Draig to stand dangerously.
"To call me a traitor you must have some kind of knowledge that I do not, because from my experience was it not me who was imprisoned for the time span of a year for no crime." Stated Draig angrily, the audacity of this person to call him a traitor.
"Oh? You say it was for no crime then I suppose murdering an emperor is not a crime, is that your claim" asked Junko with a look showing that she had won this battle of words.
"Oh is that what you think, or perhaps that is what your disgusting power hungry parents have told you. Laughable that you wouldn"t realize the reason, it is such a curious question isn"t it. Why the Emperor would ignore tradition and eliminate the Male Heirs from the running, I do wonder what was the reason behind such an action. Could it be that he had selected a female as the Heir? No, that would be changing the Dynasty. Then again I suppose that the Male Heirs are back in the running since his death" stated Draig with a cruel gaze causing the Heirs to glare because he spoke as if he knew something that they didn"t. Thus was the arrogance of these children of Subaras.h.i.+.
"So, now that you are here I imagine that you have come to attempt at my life." chuckled Draig which seemed odd considering their number.
"Stupid brats, of course I couldn"t fight a couple dozen Deva at once but unfortunately I have learned the art of bluffing. . . ." thought Draig with a smile.
"We have come her to avenge our Grandfather, Draig you will die today" started Junko until she saw Draig draw the Thousand Fold Blade and his Legion Avatar appear this unsettled them but this wasn"t what had done the job of silenceing her.
Draig"s skin turned black as horns sprouted from his head and wings grew from his back and soon a tail shooting from his backside accompanied the tranformation.
Junko and the other"s looked horrified at this action, it was to be known that while they had managed to get into the Academy that had mostly been an act done out of respect for their Dynasty. They had yet to fully Manifest their Avatars despite their efforts in a low cla.s.s Demon ground, now before them the person that they were certain they could overwhelm with their numbers had suddenly displayed Materialization.
This was like a snake growing eight heads after you had chopped off the first, the frightening aura that came from the transformation had done the job of traumatizing these children of Subaras.h.i.+.
"Heavens what have we awoken" though Junko seeing this person transform into such a sinister form had done the job of convincing them it was materialization combined witht he aura.
"Run. . ." spoke Junko breathlessly as she didn"t dare wait for Draig to act and her fellow Heirs ran without hesitance.
They hadn"t signed up to be slaughtered they were a.s.sured that with their superior numbers even if they hadn"t managed full Manifestation that they would be able to take down Draig who had completed Full Manifestation.
"Suckers" smiled Draig as he reverted to his human looking body.
Ginji looked at Draig in awe, no wonder he dared to act so arrogantly if he was capable of Materialization already.
The way he had sent those heirs running had caused him to feel thankful that he had been allowed to live when he had thought of stealing his sword.
"I really need to watch my actions in the future. . ." thought Ginji hoping Draig would accept his offer
