Draig stared at the Grave forger for some time before he stepped forward and looked at the number of swords hanging from the wall, their blades gleaming in the setting sunlight. Though he didn"t bother to pick them up this time, it was at this moment that Ginji noticed Draig and had to do a double take due to the number of Tattoos decorating his body. However this wasn"t the only thing that caught his attention, he noticed the empty sheath on the Feratu"s waist and his expression became stern.

Draig acted as if he didn"t notice the change in expression and asked Ginji about the sword he was promised.

"Have you completed my blade" asked Draig ignoring the countless swords hanging on the wall, something inside him told him they weren"t up to the standard that he needed.

Something else he noticed was the fact that his Mana was acting strangely, it was acting turbulent in its stream as if it wished to rebel against him but he didn"t let this show on his face. He had the pressing matter of gaining a new sword lest he be unarmed save for the rapier incapable of killing, it had proven quite ineffective in causing pain against even the mortal cla.s.s threats thus he wouldn"t be able to exert his full might in this world.

Ginji hearing the question didn"t answer for a moment, it seemed as if he was offended or insulted. Though Draig couldn"t understand the reason for this sudden coldness, however he didn"t like it and made this known as he narrowed his eyes dangerously.

"It seems you have become deaf, I will repeat my question Ginji. Where is my blade" spoke Draig letting his displeasure be known through his tone.

"What happened to the Thousand Fold Blade. . ." asked Ginji countering the question with one of his own.

"It is gone, now the sword Ginji. I need my sword" grunted Draig as he now understood the sudden mood of the Grave Forger.

"Haven"t I already made you a sword" stated Ginji suddenly causing Draig"s eyes to widen as the Grave Forger was taking the path of pettiness.

"You promised me a sword Ginji. . . That was the only reason we went to the Valley, do you remember" growled Draig as he stared down the petty smith with anger starting bubble inside him.

Ginji merely sneered at Draig when he brought up the Valley.

"You were going to go there anyways, don"t act like it was solely for me. If you want a sword so bad then find the Thousand Fold blade" stated Ginji as he continued hammering at the red hot metal he had in the fire.

"This little mortal suddenly found some arrogance, daring to dismiss me like some dog on the street. . ." thought Draig causing his anger to come to the surface as he raised his fist as he entered his Hybrid form causing Ginji to look at Draig with widened eyes.

It was as if a light had clicked and he remembered who he was talkinig too, however it was too late the Feratu swung his arm angrily and destroyed the hearth sending burning coals and ash everywhere.

Draig wasn"t finished as he grabbed to pathetic swords that had been hanging on the walls and crushed them in his hands as if they were mere clods of dirt.

While he did this Ginji hissed in pain as he covered his body which had been at ground zero of the destroyed hearth causing him to directly come in contact with the coals.

Draig"s anger hadn"t gone unnoticed as Souta and others ran to see what the commotion was only to see Ginji rolling on the ground covered in the burning remnants as his Smithy was torn to the ground by the Feratu.

Draig snorted in disdain as he finished demolis.h.i.+ng the smithy before he turned his eyes on Ginji.

"If you won"t forge my blade then I don"t have a use for you. . . filthy mortal" growled Draig as he motioned for Souta to come to him.

"Lord, is everything okay. . . ." asked Souta uncertainly.

"Everything is fine, get rid of this person. He isn"t welcome here any longer" commanded Draig as Ginji finally recovered from the initial shock of the hearth"s contents covering him.

"Wait. . . . I won"t leave without the Thousand Fold Blade." grunted Ginji as he slowly got to his feet.

"That Sword no longer Exists, even if it had. You would hold no claim to it"s owners.h.i.+p, Souta remove him immediately" spoke Draig with a dangerous glance towards the Grave Forger.

As Draig continued to wallow in his anger he felt his Mana inside beginning to flow more rampant, it contributing to his irritability as he tried to keep it under control lest he be destroyed by his own power.

The Feratu"s mood had soured quickly upon waking up, his head was still a bit foggy causing his judgement and actions to be more reckless but at the moment he didn"t see it as such. He only saw disloyalty from someone who had begged to serve him in the capacity of being his smith only to renege on this relations.h.i.+p over something out of his control.

Aoi who had just made it through the crowd saw the state of Ginji and turned a hostile gaze to Draig as she pulled her hammer causing those watching to gasp.

Draig had already built the reputation of being powerful and brutal, so naturally people were shocked that such a sweet looking girl would actually dare to stand up to him.

Ginji saw this and immediately backed down, he didn"t wish for Aoi to get into a conflict with Draig as it would more than likely lead to her death.

"Aoi stop, it"s fine. I"ll leave, this isn"t worth you getting into a fight with this b.a.s.t.a.r.d" stated Ginji stopping the would be slaughter.

"Ginji. . . I"ll come with you then, I don"t want to stay if you"re not going to be here" mumbled Aoi slumping her shoulders as she looked at Ginji"s face which had now been burned and began to blister.

Souta and those watching turned to look at Draig who just watched on coldly, he didn"t feel a loss with Ginji leaving as the man had refused to carry out his duty which meant he was stuck without a sword either way.

"Need to find a new sword" grumbled Draig as he watched the two leave
