"Ira...""What? I thought you went to sleep... What"s wrong?"
Ira came to her room to get dressed, suddenly heard Seal calling for her through the mirror.
"I forgot to tell you something important about that pendant. What is the colour of the stone in the middle of that pendant?"
Ira took a good look at the pendant, this time the stone in the center caught her eye.
"It"s red... The stone looks red in colour."
"The girl on the mirror remained quite for a while as she was lost on her own thoughts, until Ira"s voice pulled her back to her senses.
"What happened? Is something wrong?" Ira was worried about the awkward silence that she gave. She felt restless.
"The first time you found this pendant... did you notice that stone?"
"Now that you mention it... I don"t think I saw it... But why?"
"This stone is one of the seven sacred stones present in the world. In the past these stones were all possessed by the Varma clan and were safeguarded from people with malicious intentions....
But the Lal"s wanted to possess those stones and that was how the horrendous night of the Varma"s occured. The pendant that you possess now is one of those seven sacred stones. You have already came across one of its power of time and s.p.a.ce transfer. Its other power is to show its owner"s fated encounter..."
Hearing to all the informations at once Ira"s head was completed overloaded she wanted to know the reason for the death of her mother and somehow without even asking, she told her everything....
Looking at the confused expression on her face. Seal was worried whether she should continue or not.
Ira understood what she was thinking.
"I was just confused with the amount of information I received today... But this is something that I ought to know sooner or later. So it"s fine, please tell me more... What do you mean by the fated encounter?"
After getting the affirmation from her, Seal continued to speak.
"The person who will be able to see the same colour as you do, will be the person whom you should have never met! One of the two will end up killing the other or be killed. n.o.body can guess who the killer and the victim is between the two... If you ever come across that person, remember my words, you must avoid him / her at all costs!"
Ira felt like she was struck by the thunder the moment she heard the warning. She was in a daze as she was lost in her thoughts. Chahna"s loud voice pulled her back into reality. By the time Chahna came, Seal was nowhere to be found.
"Ira! How could you run out looking like that? People would criticise me for not taking good care of you!" Chahna was angry at her for storming out of the room like that.
"Sorry about that... I had something important to discuss with Shiv..."
The moment she mentioned his name, Ira remembered those things that happened and her fair skin was tainted with red from embarra.s.sment.
Chahna could guess what happened between them but she continued to play innocent as she wanted to get the information from Ira"s mouth.
"Why are you so red? Did something happen between you and the prince?"
"Nothing happened..." Ira avoided looking Chahna in the eye which just made her look plainly suspicious!
"Your reaction just now is so suspicious... Something happened right? Tell me." Chahna was getting into her role real quick making Ira get all embarra.s.sed.
"What? I told you, it"s nothing. Then what about you and General Veer? I know that friend you talked about is actually you!" Ira dodged her question as she continued to tease her.
Chahna turned all red and fl.u.s.tered at Ira"s words. She didn"t expect her to be so sharp at times like this.
Seeing the blush creeping on her face Ira was completely satisfied.
"It"s okay! Tell me when you feel like opening up to me. I can wait. But don"t expect me to wait for a long time!" Ira"s face was plastered with a wide grin as she was teasing Chahna.
Chahna couldn"t help but feel unfair, "It was supposed to be me who is teasing you. But now I am being teased! This is so not fair!"
"You are hundred years too early to tease me! Muhahaha" Ira gave her an evil laugh making Chahna even more mad.
....
"Shiv, you called for us?" Both Abhinav and General Veer entered into the main hall.
Aditya was already there as he interpreted Shiv and Ira"s precious moment. Shiv was still annoyed at him for being such a noisy b.a.s.t.a.r.d.
"If you dare interpret us again, mark my words, that will be your death day!" His voice was so cold as they sent shivers down to his spine.
"I didn"t mean to do so... It just happen to be that way... I"m innocent!" His eyes wandered all over the place as he avoided Shiv"s eyes.
Shiv took the mask her threw on the floor a few minutes ago and wore it back on again.
Abhinav and General Veer were not sure what was happening between those two.
Shiv casually walked towards them and told them the reason why he called them.
"It seems like, Lady Ira suspects the presence of some kind of barrier around the water source. We will be going there to check it again!"
He gave out his orders as he prepared to go out.
...
"Ira wore a violet dress which complimented her pale skin very well. Shiv walked towards her and handed over a black cloak.
"Use this whenever we go out." He didn"t explain any further and went near his horse.
Ira obediently wore it like he said and went near him.
He helped her get on the horse carefully and sat behind her.
Ira was suddenly trapped in between his arms which made her hear fl.u.s.ter. She could clearly feel how big and muscular he was when he wrapped her from behind like nothing.
Shiv noticed the blush on her ears, he was so tempted to tease her. But he knew that was not the right situation to do so. He made a hard decision and held himself back just a little.
