Chapter 843: Spirit Flower
Inside Yunxuan Villa, a huge Blood Ginseng stood tall on top of the hill. Even though Lu Xuan had dispelled the soul of the Gin King, the Blood Ginseng was still br.i.m.m.i.n.g with vitality.
Lu Xuan intially considered brewing the Blood Ginseng into a potion, but now he didn’t want to actually kill it.
It was extremely rare for a Ten Thousand Year Blood Ginseng to form a will of its own; even in a middle-cla.s.s world, the likelihood of it happening was one in a billion.
It would’ve been a waste for Lu Xuan to completely kill it. He could continue to raise the Ten Thousand Years Blood Ginseng. If he needed the ginseng’s help, all he had to do was slice off a piece for himself.
With that in mind, Lu Xuan immediately emptied a lot in the Sky Ocean Secret Realm to raise the Blood Ginseng. He would’ve then spent a vast amount of middle-tier spirit stones every day to cultivate it.
After a while, Lu Xuan realized that it would regrow immediately whenever he sliced a piece of ginseng off. It would mean that he could continue to slice a piece of the plant off without worrying about running out.
It was much more cost-effective than eating the whole ginseng in one go.
The man then cut off a third of the ginseng and began to brew alkahestry pills that could help him grow stronger.
It took a total of ten days for Lu Xuan to create ten Blood Ginseng alkahestry pills.
Of course, the ten Blood Ginseng alkahestry pills were different than the one he’d brewed in his past life.
At that time, Lu Xuan used almost half of the ginseng to create a single alkahestry pill. Now, he’d created ten with just of third of the Blood Ginseng. It was evident that the ten pills wouldn’t work the same way as the one he made in his past life.
Even though Lu Xuan’s alkahestry skill was better than in his past life, there was a reason why he could produce better quality pills.
Lu Xuan was planning on giving some of the pills away. Two for his parents and one for his disciple Yun Ling’er. He’d also saved two pills for his sisters.
Other than that, he would be giving two to the Deep Sea Poison Jiao Dragon to advance to the next realm. He would then keep the rest for himself.
He planned to consume all the remaining pills at once to form the final Spirit Flower inside of him.
It was true that he was now undefeatable on Earth. Earth was now protected by the barrier he had erected, but he knew that it wouldn’t last for long.
Just like his Psuedo White Sun Soaring State, they were just temporary solutions.
Lu Xuan planned to form his final Spirit Flower and ascend into the Three Flower Realm before facing the stronger beings of the Tempest Ocean Realm, some of which he was acquainted with in his past life.
Right now, he wasn’t too worried about the Consolidation Realm cultivators of the Tempest Ocean Realm. He was sure that they could not descend to Earth for the time being.
The law that Earth generated would protect itself. No Consolidation Realm cultivator would risk having themselves being devoured by a world with recovered spirit qi.
After handing the pills to his parents and disciple, Lu Xuan returned back to Sky Ocean Secret Realm immediately to begin his training.
The same went for the Deep Sea Poison Jiao Dragon. After it had consumed the two pills that Lu Xuan gave it, it was ready to ascend to the next realm. The Blood Ginseng alkahestry pills were able to maximize the growth of its bloodline, allowing it to become a true Deep Sea Poison Jiao Dragon.
The purer its bloodline was, the stronger it would get. If it continued to grow from there, Lu Xuan would’ve been its only compet.i.tion in terms of strength.
With everything settled, Lu Xuan swallowed the remaining three Blood Ginseng alkahestry pills and began to cultivate.
The enormous energy from the pill began to seep into Lu Xuan’s body, causing his aura to steadily grow. It also boosted his Essence Flower and Auric Flower at the same time.
Among all the three flowers, the Auric Flower was the base of everything.
It represented the strength of the body and every cell in it. It was also the foundation of the bearer’s life.
Only those who possessed a strong Auric Flower were able to cultivate the Essence Flower and Spirit Flower.
Whether the cultivator was trained in spells or magic, the Auric Flower was the base of all things.
This was why among all three flowers, the best course of action was to form the Auric Flower before trying to form the Essence Flower and Spirit Flower.
The only exception was when the cultivator was past a certain age, like Xuanyangzi, where they had no option but to form the Spirit Flower first.
Most cultivators should follow Lu Xuan’s example of forming the Auric Flower first to enhance his own body and lifeforce before gathering the Essence Flower.
Once he’d achieved a body of pure power, he would’ve broken his way into the unspoken realm of magic.
When he first started out, he was unsure of what the three flowers meant. Now, he could tell that each of the three flowers represented three different paths.
The Auric Flower represented the martial arts. The stronger the Auric Flower was, the easier it was to perform a move. Those who had perfected the Auric Flower could turn a seemingly normal move into a destructive one.
The Essence Flower Represented spells. Every mind-blowing spell that was known to man needed the help of the Essence Flower to erect. The stronger one’s Essence Flower was, the stronger their spells would be.
Lu Xuan’s trump card, Advent of the Thunder Dragon, was an excellent example of how the Essence Flower could affect one’s ability to use a certain spell.
The current Lu Xuan was one step away from completing all three flowers. All he lacked was the Spirit Flower that represented magic and the strength of one’s will.
The stronger one’s will was, the stronger magic they could perform.
The arts of martial and spell were still explainable by science, but magic was on a whole different level. It was something that defied common sense.
Take flying, for example. It was something humans could never achieve without the help of machinery, but it was possible with magic.
However, flying magic like the Wings of Thunder were magics that needed the aid of outside force.
Once a cultivator had formed their Spirit Flower, they could perform magic without any a.s.sistance. It would be as if flying was something that they could do from birth, like walking or running. They could breathe in water and survive being burned as if they were able to do so from the beginning.
Once Lu Xuan had gathered his Spirit Flower, his magic, like the Delusion-breaker Eye, would evolve into magics that others would deem impossible.
If the Auric Flower was seen as one’s body and the Essence Flower as one’s cells, then the Spirit Flower could be seen as one’s brain.
The brain was the weakest and most fragile part of a human’s body. One small mistake would cause a terrible death with no chance of survival.
That was why the best possible route was to strengthened one’s body and cell before awakening the brain’s true potential to gather the Spirit Flower.
The reason Xuanyangzi was able to gather his Spirit Flower first was that, throughout the whole ordeal, he’d been taming his primordial spirit and controlling it at the microscopic level. That was the only way for someone to form their Spirit Flower first without destroying every cell in their body.
Lu Xuan took the more traditional and orthodox way by focusing all the energy in his every single one of his cell and direct them to his brain. That was the key to the success of forming the Spirit Flower.
