Chapter 133.1 - Riding together on one horse
“Brother, Qingwu little sister!” Ye Ji’s voice sounded from behind.
Lou Qingwu turned to the side and saw a carriage slowly riding forward.
Half of Ye Ji’s body was out of the window as she lifted up the curtains that had blue gemstones dangling from them.
The blue from the gemstones offset her skin, making it even more beautiful and luminescent.
She waved her hands as she took off her face veil, revealing her exotic looking beauty, lively and bubbly.
When she reached Lou Qingwu and Xiahou Qing, she jumped off the carriage and at the same time, lifted up the curtain behind her too.
“Qingwu little sister, brother Ye came too.”
The curtain opened up wider as Feng Yege revealed his outfit in black with gold accents.
His coldly handsome face was like ice as he raised an eyebrow.
For some reason, it was hard to look away from his face.
When he saw Lou Qingwu and Xiahou Qing, his thin lips curled up.
“Miss Lou.”
Then his eyes moved away, coldly falling on Xiahou Qing.
Xiahou Qing first froze before smiling, “Night Prince.”
“.... Night Prince.” Lou Qingwu suddenly felt like the way that they stood together was jarring.
She looked down, her face still and calm but the ripples in her heart were silently suppressed by herself.
When she looked up again, her expression was warm and inviting, clean and unworldly.
Feng Yege’s eyes slightly narrowed, not speaking a word.
“Qingwu little sister, quickly come up. Let’s go hunting and riding together, I heard that the hunting grounds have recently received a batch of elk.”
“No need.” Lou Qingwu outrightly rejected her.
Ye Ji was stunned before ambiguously blinking at her.
“Then did Qingwu little sister want to sit with brother on one horse?” Who knew that girls from the capital would be so bold and daring, but is that logical?
Feng Yege’s originally still phoenix eyes flashed cold.
“Miss Ye Ji’s joking, of course not.” Lou Qingwu’s brows slightly furrowed before turning backwards and nodding at uncle Liu.
The Lou residence’s servants immediately pulled a horse out by its reins as Ye Ji disappointedly ‘ah’d.
She headed towards the carriage behind her and with her movements, bells chimed.
Lou Qingwu ignored her as she took over the reins and lifted up her leg to jump on the horse in one clean movement.
Xiahou Qing’s appreciation of her grew as he looked at Lou Qingwu even deeper.
Ye Ji had also been amazed as she turned to glance at Feng Yege.
Seeing that he hadn’t been watching Lou Qingwu, her mouth corners curled up, patting to her side, “Qingwu little sister’s so skilled, I’m so jealous because I can’t even ride a horse.”
Lou Qingwu smiled but didn’t speak.
Near the edge of the Yuebai clan, there was a tribe that depended on breeding horses, generation after generation.
How could she not know how to ride a horse?
Her legs pressed against the horse’s stomach as she leaned forward to ride her horse.
The bright sun was high above but the emptiness in her heart spread to her four limbs.
Xiahou Qing had also jumped onto a horse to follow behind her.
Ye Ji didn’t mind as she jumped back on the carriage, burrowing inside to pester Feng Yege.
“Brother Ye, in a while once we get to the military grounds, you have to teach me how to ride a horse.”
“.....” Feng Yege flipped a page of the book he was reading, not nodding his head or shaking his head.
“Ah! I’ll just treat it as brother Ye agreeing! Ha ha, great, brother Ye’s the best!”
“.....”
From behind, they heard Ye Ji’s charming and girlish laughter chiming from the carriage.
Xiahou Qing turned around to take a look, unable to help but laugh towards Lou Qingwu, “That brat just b.u.mps into the Night Prince and suddenly turns into a child that hasn’t grown up yet. Don’t take it to heart.”
“How could I?” Lou Qingwu’s eyes were still set to in front of them, the two people didn’t go too fast or too slow.
“Actually, I’m also curious, when did you learn how to ride a horse, Qingwu?”

TL note:
Yuebai clan - Ye Ji’s clan, she gets descriptions about her foreign and exotic beauty because she’s from the western part of China that borders on central Asia with lots of ethnic minorities and tribes that aren’t part of Han China.
Leave a comment and for a vague explanation xx
