Chapter 189.2 - Qingwu"s counterattack
Feng Yege smiled, “It’s fine, she probably doesn’t want to see me right now.”
“Ah?” The G.o.dly doctor Xue froze, “You’re fighting?”
“Not really, it’s a bit more serious than just a fight.” To push him a thousand miles away, there was probably nothing more serious than that.
“Aye.” The G.o.dly doctor Xue’s mouth gaped, he couldn’t speak clearly on these feelings between a man and a woman.
So he could only pay Feng Yege’s shoulder, “There’s nothing that can’t be solved. Young people, ah, good luck.”
He had quite a good impression of the young Miss Lou, or at least her aura was good enough.
But it seemed like she had too many things on her mind, making her lose the original innocence that a young person her age should have.
However, in this flourishing city, how many people could protect their original hearts and not waver from their paths?
But just seeing from how she treated the fourth madam, she definitely had the air a doctor should have.
Watching the G.o.dly doctor Xue leave, Feng Shiyi then ducked his head inside, “Master, should we enter the palace now or wait a bit?”
Feng Yege seemed to have thought of something as when he heard this, he looked up.
His phoenix eyes had something indecipherable in them, “Enter the palace.”
“Yes!” Feng Shiyi received his orders and immediately bent at the waist before heading towards the imperial palace.
Actually, he knew what his master was thinking.
Miss Lou had already been so clear in his actions but he still wanted to help her out.
If it was him, he’d run far, far away from Miss Lou, and never see her again!
But, really, if it really were him in Feng Yege’s position, he might not actually do that either.
After all, when it came to romantic feelings, it’s hard to be in control.
Furthermore, his master had spent all of these years on Miss Lou.
It was only a pity that this Miss Lou had no heart, no, she did have a heart, but it fell on that dastardly, unworthy third prince.
It was a complete waste of his master’s deep feelings.
He’d rather that the empress dowager this time, bestowed marriage on his master during this visit.
No matter which girl it would be, she’d definitely instantly fall in love with his master after she saw him.
Not like Miss Lou … even after all of these years, still having not raised her well, to still be so heartless to his master!
-- Imperial study
The eldest eunuch Liu Jin knocked on the door of the imperial study and seeing that the emperor acknowledged him, bent at his waist and stepped inside.
He spoke quietly and cautiously, “Emperor, this servant has something to report.”
“Oh? What is it?” The emperor gripped his wolf fur brush, the bright red ink staining the scroll he wrote on.
He wrote carelessly before suddenly gripping a scroll addressed to the emperor, and angrily throwing it out, “Useless! Can’t even win a single war! What’s the use in keeping him!”
Liu Jin jumped in fear, immediately kneeling on the ground, crawling forward on his knees, collecting the scroll to the emperor and carefully placing it back on the imperial desk.
The emperor already wasn’t in the mood to look at any more before frowning and looking at Liu Jin, “What did you want to report?"
“Reporting to the emperor, something happened at the left prime minister’s residence. This servant thinks that the emperor may be interested in hearing it.”
“Oh? Speak.”
“This morning, the left prime minister’s fourth madam nearly miscarried and pointed her finger at the Countess of Rende. The left prime minister threw a huge fit of anger.” Liu Jin spoke cautiously as he kept his eye on the emperor’s expression.
Seeing that there wasn’t anything strange in the emperor’s expression, he continued, “But afterwards, the G.o.dly doctor Xue also visited and the situation quickly changed. It became the second madam Ruan Zhen who wanted to scheme to harm the fourth madam. Furthermore, it was also linked to a certain medicinal gra.s.s.”
“What is it?” The emperor narrowed his eyes.
“..... ‘no sons’ gra.s.s.”

TL note:
Raised her well - Chinese saying that someone who bites the hand that feeds it, is a wolf that hasn’t been raised ‘well’/domesticated. The ‘well’ is like ‘well cooked’ (i.e. opposite of raw), so she’s still ‘raw’ and cold against Feng Yege, despite being ‘raised’ (taken care of, cooked) by him.
