"Where have you been you, silly child?!" Fuzuki flinched back in fright hugging the small kitten in her arms as she timidly gazed up through her eyelashes. A distance away stood her auntie with a stern frowning look in her eyes, hands placed on her hips as an older and young man stood behind her dressed in butler like suits. Her auntie was a woman of astonishing beauty. Long beautiful red hair hung loosely down past her shoulder in soft curls, standing tall with a slim curvy body and youthful face that made her seem years younger than her real age. Her light hazel eyes shined like strong flames full of knowledge and power.
In her early years, she had once been a famous model starting in a few movie roles. Fuzuki had once heard that her auntie never settled with any men but instead strung them around leaving a trail of broken hearts men and women alike. It took her uncle months of persistent efforts before even being allowed to take her on a date. Through those struggles, her aunt fell in love with him just as deeply. Two years later she had left the spotlight and married uncle. Even now Fuzuki could still see heavy traces of that young model in the elegance and beauty her auntie now carried. Untouchable to the mundane as she carried herself with an aura of a true G.o.ddess.
Staring down at the frightened girl, the woman sighed rubbing her forehead tiredly. Behind her nurses stood frightened yet relieved that the young miss had been found. They had begun fearing for their lives. Fearing the woman who had earned the t.i.tle flaming tiger for how frightening she could become, she was a strong force never to be reckoned with. The nurses could only cry out in mercy once she began yelling at them for being irresponsible idiots for losing her beloved niece. They couldn"t begin to imagine what fate had in store for them if she had not been found.
"I"m sorry auntie, I was careless. I"m sorry to have worried you." Fuzuki apologized overwhelmed with guilt to the woman who had done so much for her.
"Honestly you." Her auntie muttered tiredly rubbing her forehead before her eyes drifted to the small animal in her niece"s arms.
"What is that?" She asked with a raised eyebrow staring at the small creature.
"It"s a kitten. I found it stuck in a tree it, he needed help." Fuzuki said shyly deciding it best not to inform her auntie of the stranger who had saved her.
"It"s filthy. Honestly, child if you had wanted a pet, I would have gotten you a much better one. A nice pooch or if you wanted a cat I would have gotten you a nice Persian cat."
"Please auntie, I can"t abandon him," Fuzuki begged her with a sad expression while the others nearby gazed at the scene nervously seeing the tiger standing tall above the nervous bunny. Staring down at her niece in silence before her eyes drifted other to the sc.r.a.ps on her arms and legs before making her way to the small kitten purring in Fuzuki"s arms. Her mind suddenly filled with an old fond memory of a dear friend rescuing a small white kitten. Her arms covered with scratches yet a bright warm smile was shown as the small kitten purred in her arms.
"You truly are just like your mother." She muttered under her breath her eyes softening as the memory faded and her young niece stood in her dear friend"s place. Hearing her words, Fuzuki"s eyes widen at the mention of her deceased mother before feeling a warm hand touch the top of her head.
"Come let"s get those scratches cleaned before they get infected."
...
Sitting in the back seats of a black limo, Fuzuki stared out the window watching it sped down the road. The small kitten meowing happily as it pawed at her long strains of hair tickling its nose.
Sitting across from her, her auntie watched her niece"s silent behavior with a small sad frown as she recalled her niece"s once vibrant cheerful personality. Even in the rainiest day, her niece was able to find the beauty in it. When she would come to visit her in that large empty home, it was her niece who would try to cheer up her auntie"s raging heart. A kind warm child that reminded her so much of the girl"s mother and dear friend. At her deathbed, she had promised Fuzuki"s mother she would look after her child as if she were her own. After the incident she knew she had failed her, now that poor child sat across from her the brightness she once carried drained away. The night she had received the call from the hospital, her heart had been filled with joy that her niece had come back. She immediately abandoned everything rushing to the hospital only for her heart to break in the condition she was in. Unresponsive to those around and frightened of other people"s touch, her beautiful eyes...
Shaking her head slightly to push the memory away she stared at her niece it a small sad smile.
"Your cousins are excited to have you living with us, I already signed the paperwork for you to transfer to the same school as the twins." She said to her niece watching as she took her eyes away from the window gazing down at her hands nervously. Her filled with worry and as well as fear. Seeing this her aunt reached out placing a comforting hand on top of her own.
"Don"t worry, this will be a new fresh start for you. You have nothing to fear." Her auntie rea.s.sured her making the young girl let out a small smile as the small kitten meowed in agreement sitting between them.
"mn." Sitting back in silence the rest of the way Fuzuki"s mind couldn"t felt but steer back to those green eyes, not helping but recall his silent crying face with a heavy feeling in her chest. He looked so sad and in such pain, I wonder why he was crying? She wondered to herself before a more heavier question filled her mind.
Will I ever see him again?
