At the crack of dawn, Eika walked out of the girl"s dorms to wait for Hikaru in front of his own building. She glanced at her watch and, she could hear the door swing open. He ran up to her and caught his breath."What was that call for last night?" Hikaru wiped off his sweat and, Eika smiled wide and, she showed him the contents of her bag.
"I guess you don"t want breakfast together?" She raised a brow and, Hikaru"s eyes expanded when he saw the food. He was about to grab a piece of cinnamon bun inside but, Eika dragged the bag away from him.
"Oh, come on! I am hungry!" Hikaru whined and pouted. Eika frowned and wagged her finger. She"s quite happy that he"s at least eager to taste her own baked goods. She was able to access the dorm kitchen after a lot of begging.
"You"ll help me out first," She insisted and, Hikaru rubbed his chin in deep thought.
"Oh, yeah, your plan right? Climbing up the ranks?" He recalled and, Eika nodded. She grabbed Hikaru"s wrist and urged him to walk with her to the dance studio. "What do you plan to do?" He asked.
"Practice dancing," Eika responded and, Hikaru pulled his hand away from her. He stopped in his tracks.
"From a scale 1 to stupid, how reckless are you?" Hikaru blurted out. He knelt down on the ground and checked Eika"s injury. It was only one day and, she planned to dance!
"More than stupid actually," Eika said honestly, she rubbed her arm and hid away her bandaged leg from Hikaru. "I can"t stand not doing anything,"
"But we are doing something! If we find that perpetrator who caused your injury, we can place smoke bombs in their room! KABOOM!" He opened his arms wide emphasizing the explosion he envisioned on his head. Eika dropped her jaw terrified by the idea.
"Smoke bombs are not enough!" Eika exclaimed and, Hikaru grinned devilishly. He leaned over and s.n.a.t.c.hed a cinnamon roll from her bag. He unwrapped the plastic and took a bite, satisfied.
"Oh? So, you do want to bomb "em?" He smiled with his teeth showing and, Eika took a step back and shooked her head to the side. She flailed her arms around in denial.
"No! No! I didn"t mean that. I meant we shouldn"t use smoke bombs, we shouldn"t use violence at all!" Eika corrected him, and Hikaru raised an eyebrow back at her.
"We"re not using violence, we"re just gonna scare them to death!" Hikaru suggested and, Eika narrowed her eyes at him. She s.n.a.t.c.hed the bread that he took from her bag. "Give that back, Miyamoto." He warned but, Eika waved the bread in front of him.
"Then steal it back then! Plus I made this so, it"s basically mine," She sped down her walks down the pathway and, Hikaru hurried after her to get back his bread.
"You don"t steal a man"s breakfast, d.a.m.n it!" He called after her and Eika didn"t look back at him. She tried to speed up her walk but, the pain on her ankle was making it difficult.
"You"re barely one!" Eika exclaimed and, somehow Hikaru"s pace became faster. Eika sped up on her pace again. She was practically limp running. She could trip at any moment. She looked back at him, "Just help me practice the dance routine!"
"But how can we practice if your leg is injured? Also, how the h.e.l.l are you limp running!?" Hikaru yelled and, Eika was headed toward a trash bin nearby.
"Say goodbye to the cinnamon roll then," She said casually and, Hikaru screamed out loud. He chased after Eika with all of his strength. Eika faced the pathway and was about to trip until Hikaru grabbed her by the wrist and she landed securely on his chest.
"You are stupidly reckless, you know that?" He scolded her. Hikaru looked down to see if she was okay, and Eika met his eyes. She gave an apologetic smile to him when Hikaru was confused why she had that expression he saw that his breakfast fell on the floor.
"The love of my life! No! Come back to me!!" He yelled and pulled himself away from Eika. He knelt down on the floor and, for some reason he had a weird spotlight on him. Eika didn"t know where that came from.
"Um, Sato. I have more of that." She sweated but, Hikaru hushed her.
"No, we must hold a funeral for my dearly beloved." He whimpered and, Eika smacked him lightly with her hand. She showed the other cinnamon buns she made. Hikaru was about to steal another one again and, Eika pulled it away from him.
"Only if you promise to dance with me," She insisted and, Hikaru sighed in defeat. He never even turned her down. It"s not like he had better things to do anyway. Out of all the crazy things women can do. She decided to fight defensively, and oddly, he found that interesting about her.
"Fine, but, I have one condition," Hikaru brought up and, Eika took out another cinnamon bun and gave it to him. She munched on her own food.
"What is it?" She asked curiously.
"For every mistake you make, I get to draw random stuff on your face with a marker,"
