As soon as she entered the room, she plopped down onto the mattress. “Come, take a seat. We need to talk,” Fan Fan said as she motioned for Xia Lei to sit next to her.
Xia Lei averted his gaze to the sofa in the corner of the room. “I have a sofa.”
Fan Fan rolled her eyes. “Are you afraid that I’ll do something you don’t want me to? My relative is here and I have no time, you happy?”
Xia Lei immediately knew what she was implying but it helped him relax regardless of the insinuation. Fan Fan had always wanted a child of his but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to have a child with her. But since she cleared his doubts, Xia Lei made his way over and sat next to her.
She smelt especially nice today.
Fan Fan opened her bag to retrieve a doc.u.ment before placing it on Xia Lei’s lap. “I read the agreement, what are your thoughts on it?”
Xia Lei recognized it. It was the agreement Yu Shanhe wanted him to sign. “No, I won’t sign it. Agreeing to it would mean more opportunities for officials to be involved in my Thunder Horse Organization. Soon, I would have less and less authority of my own organization.”
“Why would you think so?”
Xia Lei answered bluntly. “If they are able to control all trade, employee politics and their work environment, along with the organization’s future development, wouldn’t that make me the Vice Director of my own organization? To make matters worse, I cannot fire the administrative supervisor he arranged. Agreeing to it would mean being the architect of my own downfall!”
Hearing that, Fan Fan went silent. It was only after a while that she decided to say, “If you don’t sign it, they will not waive your debt. Twenty billion dollars is on the line. It’ll probably take a very long time for you to be free of its burden and that would most definitely hinder Thunder Horse’s progress. Have you really thought this through?”
“Of course I did.” Xia Lei furrowed his brows. He then turned to face Fan Fan. “Are you here to persuade me and try to get me to sign it?”
If that was the case, even if Fan Fan and he shared an intimate relations.h.i.+p, Xia Lei would ask her to leave.
Fan Fan sat in silence while her palm found its way to Xia Lei’s thigh. Slowly, it snaked under the sheet of paper on his lap and soon enough, its edge slowly lifted up.
Xia Lei raised his brows. “Hey, I asked you a question. What the h.e.l.l are you doing?”
Fan Fan smirked in return. “Aren’t I answering you now?”
“What?”
Her hands stopped moving. “I’m an expert and a woman that holds the key to your core technology. Our relations.h.i.+p is akin to that of a married pair. All we lack is a certificate. I will also be the mother of your future offspring. Do you really think I would willingly watch your efforts go to waste and have the Thunder Horse Organization surrender?”
It was true that she held his core but that had nothing to do with technology. Her intention was clear. They complement each other well and she was adamant about protecting Xia Lei’s benefit.
Xia Lei endured the attractive warmth of her palm. Things were starting to get a little fuzzy. “If that’s so, do you have any idea what to do with this?”
“I’d like to hear your thoughts on this first.”
“I don’t know, I’m at a loss. That debt was from my trade with the French for the Rafale’s avionics technology and stealth technology. Normally, that would’ve cost more than twenty billion. Heck, they wouldn’t even have accepted had we offer fifty billion. I can’t believe how a simple request to waive my debt would have them lay down such a request. If this goes on, I’ll end my trade with the French out of spite. Why can’t they get it from the French themselves if they really wanted the technology?! I’m just going to ignore all of this and slowly pay my way through.”
“Alright, I can see your determination. Now you can sit back and leave the rest to me,” Fan Fan spoke immediately after his mini-rant.
“You? What are you planning to do?”
Fan Fan’s expression turned sultry. “Oh, I’m full of ideas. If you wanna know, come get it.”
Xia Lei was perplexed. “What do you mean? How?”
She reached into her bag again to pull out a gla.s.s container.
Xia Lei recognized it right away. In her hand was the antidote to his sperm cells. It then brought around a fit of panic. “Didn’t you say that you were on your period?”
“I lied.”
“...”
Fan Fan straddled him abruptly, discarding Yu Shanhe’s doc.u.ment onto the floor in the process. What she wanted was evident in the way she looked at him. Her gaze was heavily laced with l.u.s.t. She was born with an unawakened special const.i.tution and she was just a pure, intelligent biotechnologist before all of this started. Xia Lei was the trigger and since its awakening, she was headed down the path of becoming a succubus with no return.
Xia Lei felt responsible for her state. Thankfully, this responsibility was rather enjoyable but he really wasn’t enthusiastic about it tonight. From between Fan Fan’s tight hold, he gazed at his bedside drawer, thinking about the counteract to the antidote hidden inside. He was in a dilemma.
A light touch had Fan Fan oddly excited. She pushed Xia Lei onto the bed, framing her arms beside his neck to confine him. She stared at the handsome face beneath her. “I know you’ve been through some s.h.i.+t but I really am at my limit now. I want a child, please...give me one.”
“You haven’t even told me about your solution to my problem.” Xia Lei tried to play it off and change the topic.
“You hold the highest IQ score in the world, do you really need to ask me that?” Slowly but surely, Fan Fan closed the distance between their faces to rest her forehead against his. “You’re forgetting that I’m the head of the ZN station. Getting rid of the obstacles Yu Shanhe gave you is no big deal.”
A smile appeared on Xia Lei’s lips. Her position was all thanks to his contribution and it was on par with Yu Shanhe’s. If Yu Shanhe could use his powers to make his life difficult, Fan Fan would be able to counteract it. Xia Lei was no longer the vulnerable, desperate kid who was starting a business from scratch. He had the power now!
Fan Fan kissed him and s.h.i.+vered, savoring the sensation.
He allowed her to steal a few more kisses before he whispered in her ear, “Go take a shower.”
Her grip remained firm. “I already did.”
“Come on, if our child were to arrive in our realm via the uh…clean and fragrant path, don’t you think you’re not up to your own standard yet?”
“Oh, f.u.c.k you! You’re doing this on purpose,” hissed Fan Fan as she bit Xia Lei. “Fine, I’ll go take a shower.” She untangled herself from him then picked up the gla.s.s container lying on the floor. She looked at it and turned to face him. With a smirk, she said, “Today’s the day.”
“Yeah, yeah. Go on,” Xia Lei replied while smiling.
Fan Fan ran to the bathroom barefoot, but as soon as she took the first stride, she tripped on the black laced panties which were caught between her legs.
Her soft, flattened mounts, her quivering bottom, and her most intimate parts imprinted themselves into Xia Lei’s mind. He had to shut his eyes for the scene was too much to handle. She tossed the panties over to him and it hit him on the face. Her smell was intoxicating.
“Hmph, this is what you get for teasing me,” Fan Fan said meekly.
“You tripped yourself. What does it have to do with me?” Xia Lei felt wronged.
“If you didn’t ask me to shower, would I have tripped?” She rolled her eyes as she carefully brought the container into the bathroom.
Xia Lei watched her leave as her hopeful and happy expression floated about in his mind. As the scene played out in front of him, he couldn’t help but wonder. Did he really want to have a child with her?
Faint splatter and splashes soon began and Fan Fan could be heard muttering to herself. “Baby, Mommy’s coming! Oh wait, it should be you coming instead! Hehe…”
At that moment, Xia Lei made his decision and opened the drawer.
Having a child together someday was possible but now was most definitely not the time for it!
The next morning, Fan Fan left the Peace Mansion while Xia Lei was off to the Thunder Horse Military Factory.
Since Fan Fan had agreed to help him, there wasn’t much left to worry on his side. There was no need for him to use his threat of ending the trade with the French. That was his last resort and he was better off not using his trump card.
It was only then when he stepped foot into the garage that he realized Sylvia and Annina were working overtime. The two Germans were hard at work for the past two days and nights without sleep. Their meals were all delivered to the garage and they hadn’t gone home either. They were so busy to the point where they were completely unaware of what happened to their boss. Their blood, sweat, and tears were not in vain as it was in exchange for the birth of Thunder Horse’s first military vehicle engine. The two were installing the engine with some help from a few employees when he arrived.
This would be the Thunder Horse Organization’s first self-produced military vehicle!
The bustling work environment was like a refres.h.i.+ng breeze to Xia Lei. It washed away the negative thoughts floating through his mind. Quietly, he went into the changing room to dorn his overalls before joining them at their work station.
“Give me a spanner.” Xia Lei’s presence went unnoticed by Sylvia, who had mistaken him for her colleague.
He pa.s.sed her a spanner. She received it swiftly without sparing him a glance, her focus was unwavering.
“Hey, you. Go get me the grease gun for the lubricant,” ordered Annina.
Finally, one of the employees recognized Xia Lei. Needless to say, they were extremely shocked to see their boss standing among them. “D...Director Xia, Director Xia is here,”
Annina and Sylvia turned around to look at Xia Lei.
“It’s alright, what do you need me to do?” Xia Lei gave a rea.s.suring smile.
Annina quickly leapt off the hood and onto Xia Lei. Her strong legs went around his waist and her arms wrapped his neck firmly. Her delighted squealed filled the garage. “Lei! Before you came, we did a test run for the engine and oh my G.o.d! It works perfectly! We’re going to have our own military vehicle very soon!”
Everyone gawked at the odd sight of Annina all over their director.
Xia Lei blushed. He deepened his voice and opted to speak in german. “What are you doing? Everyone’s staring at us.”
“Oh, I’m so sorry. I was too excited!” explained Annina before giving him a kiss on the forehead. Though surrounded by a ma.s.s of confused Chinese, there was no forgoing the German etiquette.
Xia Lei stood awkwardly at the same spot even after Annina had released him. His embarra.s.sment grew as more and more employees started to watch their odd exchange.
