With fast reflexes, Xia Lei caught the incoming hand and pulled the man closer to his body. The large biker man attempted to push Xia Lei away but the latter’s feet were planted steadily against the ground. The smaller man hadn’t bulged at the force.
“f.u.c.k!” Michael pulled out a knife and roared in anger. “Beat this motherf.u.c.ker up!”
The other bikers finally set into action.
Before chaos could take place, Xia Lei whispered nonchalantly into the ears of the larger man before him. “I’m friends with Ohada. I hope you know how she’s like before you lay a finger on me.”
Who was Ohada?
Well, she was an infamous Mexican drug lord who killed and ripped bodies apart without batting an eyelash. All of her underlings were savages, making her a permanent headache for the Mexican government. How would a little biker gang stand a chance against such a terrifying enemy?
The biker who had his wrist locked by Xia Lei quickly raised his other arm, motioning for his friends to stop charging forward.
The action prompted the other bikers to halt in their footsteps.
It was a lie, of course. Xia Lei had not even met the drug lord, but he knew that his opponents had no way of finding out.
Xia Lei whispered into his ear again. “Perhaps we can settle this problem with another method. How about I give each of you one thousand USD to drag that punk outside and beat him to a pulp?”
“Make it two thousand.” The biker man spoke. “Michael is a friend. To make us raise our fists at a friend, you must pay us two thousand. There are five of us here and we only accept cash.”
Xia Lei nodded lightly. “Sure, no problem.”
Money wasn’t everything but it was a solution to most of the problems in the world.
The gang leader hissed. “Michael, f.u.c.k you! Do you have any idea what kind of trouble you’ve brought upon us? You f.u.c.king piece of s.h.i.+t!” Uttering his last word, the man hurled a punch straight onto Michael’s cheek.
Immediately, Michael fell with a thud.
The leader tossed a look to his members who dragged Michael out the door.
“What are you doing?! We’re friends!” Michael was evidently clueless.
“Shut up, you f.u.c.king idiot!” One of them delivered a hard slap across Michael’s face.
After a few minutes, a young attractive woman hugged Xia Lei’s arm as she led him to her house. Michael was getting the beating of his life in the back alley but Xia Lei paid no mind. To him, lowly delinquents like Michael were ants. The man could simply mush him to death with the tip of his finger.
“Costa, I’ve been meaning to ask… Why me?” Caitlin’s arms were tight around his elbow, the proximity allowing her soft b.r.e.a.s.t.s to squeeze themselves against his joint. Women were born with the knowledge of how to delight men. Caitlin was no exception.
Xia Lei spared her a glance. “Why the question?”
“You’re rich and strong. I… I’m just a plain Jane,” muttered Caitlin, avoiding Xia Lei’s stare. Despite that, she studied his reaction from the corner of her eye.
The man smiled softly. “You resemble my mother. I can’t help but be reminded of her when I saw you. I love her so much and I feel at ease around you.”
“I’m sorry,” Caitlin uttered a soft apology.
“It’s alright.”
Abruptly, the woman wrapped her arms around his waist and seized his lips. Her kiss was genuine and fragrant. It occurred to Xia Lei that Caitlin had actually prepared herself to be intimate with him. Not only was her body doused in wonderfully smelling perfume but her mouth was also rinsed with mint flavoured mouthwash.
Xia Lei gave the kiss his all, daringly roaming his hands all over her body. If he wasn’t aiming to use her, there was no way he would have given in. It was only best if he pretended to be an absolute horndog, entangling his tongue with hers in a sloppy french kiss as he reached a palm under her garment.
“No, not here. It’s too cold outside. My house is warm and cosy.” Caitlin stopped the wandering hand.
Xia Lei removed his palm and attempted to probe, “Is there anyone at home now?”
“I live with my brother, but there’s no need to worry about him. He’s a workaholic. He has never disturbed my relations.h.i.+ps,” answered Caitlin.
Xia Lei chuckled. “I think I can become great friends with him. Let’s go.”
Caitlin’s house was located at the side of town. The isolated building had a simple exterior for it was made of wood. It wasn’t difficult to gauge her financial status from the build of her home.
In front of the wooden house was an asphalt road that led to Lockheed Martin’s headquarters. There was an old Buick Regal sedan parked on the side, which was a considerably low-end car in America. Observing it closely, he found a stained Lockheed Martin uniform overall over the driver’s seat. The car must have belonged to Caitlin’s brother, Jack. It was evident that his position at Lockheed Martin was very low in the corporate hierarchy.
The sight of Jack’s overalls filled Xia Lei with regret for he had worked hard to woo Caitlin. A measly engineer wouldn’t be of much use to him. The urge to turn around and leave was strong but Xia Lei managed to suppress it.
“How am I going to find anything useful if I don’t try talking to her brother or entering her house?” Xia Lei tried to convince himself.
Yes, that was true. Gol was often found amongst grain. If one did not even bother to sieve through the grain, they would miss out on the gold.
“This is my house. Let me unlock the door for us.” Caitlin let go of Xia Lei’s elbow to retrieve a key hidden under the carpet. She swiftly unlocked the door.
Xia Lei’s left eye jumped a little, quickly scanning through the s.p.a.ce inside like a whistling wind. It didn’t take him long to find a blond man studying a highly professional book related to military drones. There was a cup of coffee that was no longer steaming. The entire scene was true to Caitlin’s description, her brother really was a workaholic.
Caitlin tugged Xia Lei into her house. As soon as the wooden door clicked shut, Caitlin was already pressing herself into his chest to lock his cold lips into an abrupt kiss. Her hands worked at his belt, trying to get them off fervently.
Females of the Western hemisphere had no reservations when it came to s.e.x. They were so open-minded that having s.e.x anywhere anytime wouldn’t be a concern to them, as long as they were willing to do so.
Xia Lei continued to press open-mouthed kisses onto her lips, the sheer l.u.s.t making them shuffle around messily. As the pair came closer to the coffee table, Xia Lei sneakily tipped a gla.s.s of water on the surface over.
The gla.s.sware rolled over to the edge of the table, interjecting their activities with a crisp shatter.
“Oh dear, I’m sorry.” Xia Lei purposely said it louder. “I broke your gla.s.s.”
However, that didn’t diminish Caitlin’s fiery gaze. She stared at him intensely. “It’s alright, it’s just a gla.s.s. There’s no need to apologize. Let’s continue, I…” She pressed her lips against his ear lobe. “I need you now.”
Thank heavens she hadn’t said anything about being moist.
Xia Lei gave her a small smile. “How about we drink something and then…”
Before he could say another word, footsteps thumped against the wooden floor, accompanied by a man’s timbre voice. “Caitlin, what are you doing?”
Caitlin lifted her head up, lacking any form of shame. “Jack, I thought you were asleep.”
Xia Lei quickly zipped his pants up for decency sake, running his fingers along the length of his belt to buckle it in place. He knew Jack was bound to appear, or else he wouldn’t have allowed Caitlin to ravage him as she pleased. Truthfully, it would have been easy for him to call it quits during the process just now.
Jack made his way over. “You’re fooling around with men in the living room while I’m asleep? If you wish to bring men home, do your business in your room. This house does not belong to you alone.”
“Jack!” Caitlin was thoroughly embarra.s.sed. The woman glared at Jack, itching to retaliate but controlling her impulse to not leave a bad impression on Xia Lei.
Xia Lei came to stand before Jack and extended a friendly hand. “Hey, Jack. I’m Costa, pleased to meet you.”
Jack hesitated, studying Xia Lei’s palm carefully. “I hope your fingers hadn’t touched her there.”
What the f.u.c.k?!
“Ignore him, let’s go to my room.” Caitlin pulled Xia Lei’s arm, preparing to flee for her room.
Jack called out to her. “Caitlin, the utility bill for this month along with a change of kitchen utensils and groceries totals up to one thousand dollars. You owe me half.”
“I’ll pa.s.s you my salary in a few days,” replied Caitlin dismissively.
Jack scowled. “You said the same thing last month and you still owe me two hundred dollars. You’re an adult now. Do you still expect me to cover for you?”
“I…” The woman’s face was red with anger that rendered her speechless.
Xia Lei offered, “Caitlin, let me pay your part.”
“Costa, there’s no need for that.” Contrary to her words, she made no sound of rejection as soon as Xia Lei pulled out his wallet.
The man reached in to pull out a stack of crisp green bills, pa.s.sing it over to Jack. “Here’s ten thousand dollars. I believe this would be enough to cover her for the next few years or so.”
Jack grasped the thick stack of cash, rooted at his spot in shock. The sight of his sister bringing home a stranger offended him. Jack had attempted to embarra.s.s and humiliate the pair enough to make Xia Lei leave but never antic.i.p.ated that this man was a G.o.dd.a.m.ned tyrant. This man was f.u.c.king generous too, being able to offer ten thousand dollars off the bat. With this sum, the b.a.s.t.a.r.d could even buy two hundred or more s.e.x workers that were more attractive than his sister!
“Hmph, happy now?” Caitlin mocked gleefully.
“Mister Costa, what…” Jack gulped. “What do you do for a living?”
