It was night time. The defense of Diamond City had gotten so strong that the residents no longer needed to worry about night time.
There was always a rotation of people willing to watch over the wall of the city.
Life was not too different for the residents of the city. After the initial panic and mourning period for the dead, calm had returned to the city.
Some businesses had even opened up again. With the government taking part in the security of the city as well, the value of money was not completely lost.
Deep inside, the people knew that it might not be the case for any longer. As such, they spent their money lavishly creating a bustling atmosphere in the night.
At a certain location.
"Is something the matter?" Rocklet asked.
Winter gazed down the balcony and watched the ongoing flow of people. It would not be wrong to say that these people were living their life as usual because of him.
"Just thinking…"
They were at Winter"s office. It was clean and elegant with plenty of s.p.a.ce. There was a working desk by the balcony and Winter was seated in it.
In front of him were his party members. They were seated on two couches that were on the left and right of him. Before the apocalypse, this was an area he used to meet with his guests.
On the left, Rocklet and Brame. On the right, Rosane.
Rocket"s contributions to the party were rather large. He was the one who raised the wall around the entire city. Just from that fact alone was enough to let others know his strength. As such, he was one of the closest ones to his boss.
"Are you thinking about those government dogs?" Rocklet raised a question.
Winter smirked and said, "No. There"s no need to worry about them. It"s just a matter of time until this city becomes ours. With our strength, who could possibly stop us?"
When Winter finished his sentence, everyone let out a laugh of their own. Indeed, all of them were [Users] with the highest potential while there was no one at the side of the government.
The city may look calm and orderly but there was deep conflict brewing underneath. It was something that was bound to happen when one received a taste of power.
The government was clinging on their remaining power which consisted of military-grade weapons and a standing army. On the other hand, the Primo Corp. had recruited almost everyone who became a [User] and provided them solid shelter and food which were the most sought after resources in the current time.
With the power of the Primo Corp. before the apocalypse, it was child"s play for them to provide housing and food with their years of foundation within the real estate and restaurant industry.
Under the lead of a competent and ambitious leader, this conflict was inevitable.
Meanwhile, Spring-Autumn"s residence.
Spring-Autumn was seated outside his little house and watched the night sky. For some reason, it was not hard to accept that the city was a safe place.
The family mansion was tall enough to block off the moon so the only thing left in the sky for Spring-Autumn to watch was the endless darkness. There were no stars to be seen.
As usual, he was in his cloak that he had yet to take off after stealing. It protected him nicely from the cold night wind of spring.
Only his head was left poking out to enjoy the refreshing wind.
Clack.
The door behind him sounded and Ranmist walked out. She was donned in a semi-transparent nightgown that provoked the desires of one"s l.u.s.t and her arms were wrapped around her chest to protect her from the cold.
Her body trembled from the cold wind.
Spring-Autumn scanned her up and down and said with a smile, "Are you cold?"
Rainmist didn"t answer but looked at his cloak with an expression that said, "Aren"t you going to give that to a fragile woman like me?"
Spring-Autumn read her mind and said, "I worked hard for this."
His mind recalled back to Hope City where he ran up the tentacle and grabbed this cloak that was floating innocently in the air.
In the end, Spring-Autumn gave in. He was not a cruel man. "Come here,"
Rainmist smiled and came close to him. Spring-Autumn stood up and opened his cloak then hugged her from behind.
Rainmist thought the young man was just going to take it off and put it on her but it was different from what she expected.
Spring-Autumn closed the cloak and sat back down. Rainmist was seated in his lap and they shared the same cloak.
Rainmist could feel her body heating up but her face was left outside for the cold wind. Spring-Autumn was a cruel man but he was definitely one with an ulterior motive.
Gently, he hugged her waist and embraced her soft body.
Rainmist did not say anything but placed her hand over Spring-Autumn"s hand that was wrapped in front of her stomach. "What are you doing?"
"s.e.xual hara.s.sment," Spring-Autumn said frankly.
"We should not be doing this," Rainmist said softly.
"Just because we shouldn"t doesn"t mean we couldn"t," Spring-Autumn said.
"I think the saying is the other way around," Rainmist said and no longer resisted.
Spring-Autumn smiled and began to take liberties with her body that he had dreamed of. It was not hard to sneak into the broken heart of a woman.
Rainmist was in a vulnerable place and was desperately seeking to fill the empty hole in her heart.
Spring-Autumn softly caressed her soft, supple skin. Moving up little by little before grabbing her soft bosoms. His hard rod pressed hard against her b.u.t.tcheeks that were laying on his lap.
Rainmist let out a soft moan that was the most erotic sound. Her body was really heating up in response to Spring-Autumn"s touch.
At the final moment, just as Spring-Autumn was about to lay his hands on her little nipples, he stopped.
"That"s enough for today. Let"s go inside,"
