The town hall didn"t look very special. Unlike the auction house, the town hall was rather hard to spot, looking almost exactly like the building around it. The only real differences were that the entrance was wider and a big metal number 4 was hanging above it.This indicated this was the fourth town hall of the city.
Once he got inside he was rather surprised by how busy it was. People were waiting in lines for their turn to come. Luckily each lane was labeled with a sign floating above.
The labels were quite divergent ranging from Public affairs, complaints and civil servants to Housing, magic, and appraisals. there were only 2 people standing in front of him in the housing lane yet it took very long for him to be helped.
The procedure was very simple since he got his land deed.
Thanks to its quality he was given a lot on the main shopping street about halfway through. After this, he was given a folder, later if he wanted he could hire the specialists which were advertised on there. There were even some grade salesmen on there.
Stunned by the ma.s.sive price tag on people like that, Jay went back to the warp gate.

The lot he had gotten would be available the next day, so he could only enter at that point. For now, he had to go back to First City and pick a few good salesmen to do business there.
Back in First City, nothing had changed, they once again had a big pile of lightstone and a bunch of other minerals. The citizens were allowed to take some of the more common minerals whenever they wanted, this was in order to create some more craftsmen.
In the end, Jay picked 2 C+ grade traders he had acquired recently. They would be able to do a decent enough job for the time being. As long as they didn"t encounter a B+ grade swindler they should be fine.
They were given some low-grade inters.p.a.cial items to make travel cheaper and more convenient. They were told to always keep on armor, Pangea was an empire which focused on military, this was something he wanted to be clear.
Other than minerals, the traders also got a bunch of F grade weapons to be sold. He had already armed his own people and since he had a bunch of blacksmiths able to craft F grade weaponry now, supplying his own troops wouldn"t be a problem.
So, after sending the 2 traders off to the main city, it was time for Jay to take care of some other business.
At this point, First City was bustling again, people were doing their own jobs during the day, training when it hit evening. It was so busy that at this point there were 4 different barracks. The 2 barracks in the inner city had the best quality of teachers while the other 2 barracks weren"t of such great quality.
Even if Jay didn"t like this there wasn"t much he could do against it. He hoped that soon, he would have more experts who could teach his troops properly.
The magic tower was seen as the true elite though. Only people with a great talent in magic were allowed, those would be taught by a great magician and would see the Lord regularly.
After spending a bit more time thinking of all the options he had, he decided to go to the ruins again. He asked General Green to bring 30 of the best soldiers they had, then they headed for the ruins within the forest.
He was still a bit worried about this place, he had no idea what else was down there, it was likely the ruins would have a back entrance. This could allow a different Lord to appear close to his town with ease.
For that reason, he wanted to clear the ruins fully, building a silver grade village on the other side.
Right now, he had 8 bronze settlement tokens, this would translate into 2 silver ones.
With these tokens, he could transform Twin City into a gold grade village but he decided against that. He would rather have 2 additional bases, one on the other side of the ruins and another west of First City.
He figured this way potential enemies would find one of his other settlements before First City, engaging in a fight against said city first.
A bit more time pa.s.sed and the group numbering just over 30 arrived at the ruins.
They had expected things to be like last time, going down the stairs would take a good while so they would take their time as to not get exhausted. Yet just as they started descending, they heard sounds from beneath them.
At the first door, stood one of Jay"s golems, this golem was here to protect the ruins. Yet at this point it was getting attacked fiercely, the door it was guarding had opened from the other side and spells were landing on the golem constantly. Even though golems had a high defence he wouldn"t be able to hold on for long. After an hour it would probably get incapacitated.
Yet, just as the group decided to go down and prepare for the enemies something happened. A large explosion blew the golem back, causing it to die.
A Tier 1 spell!
Jay and General Green immediately went down as fast as they could, but even with their speed it would take them half an hour to get downstairs, and at that point, they would be exhausted.
Just as the duo cursed realizing they shouldn"t engage the enemies rashly a few people stepped into their view.
A man with a sword and 2 women without weapons. Each of these gave off a faint air of elegance.
Jay who had halted his steps by now, looked down nervously. Each of these people were Tier 1 experts. Their aura made that much clear. The trio downstairs also spotted them, they too, got a bit nervous.
After seeing the huge staircase before them and the troops trailing behind Jay and General Green, they retreated out of sight, possibly to gather more troops themselves.
