Da Ming Sheng wanted Shang Duan Hua to confess their affair to Da Tian Ting. For ten years Shang Duan Hua was engaged to her older cousin, Da Tian Ting. Shang Duan Hua and Da Tian Ting’s relationship was colder than ice water. Shang Duan Hua holding Da Tian Ting’s hand was rarer than finding gold. It was Da Tian Ting’s fault for being a frigid. Da Ming Sheng only needed to flutter her eyelashes at Shang Duan Hua and she had him under her fingertips.
Shang Duan Hua’s family wasn’t one of the richest families in the city. But Da Ming Sheng didn’t need to work if she married Shang Duan Hua.
‘Tian Ting, it’s good you found out,’ Shang Duan Hua. ‘I admit I don’t find you attractive, and I have no feelings toward you. If our parents didn’t insist on our engagement, I would never have considered marrying you.’
Shang Duan Hua was happy he finally got everything off his chest.
Shang Duan Hua hated a frigid like Da Tian Ting. They were engaged for ten years, but she didn’t let him kiss her lips. On rare occasions, she let him hold her hand.
‘Why did you wait so long to tell me you hate me?’ Da Tian Ting asked.
Da Tian Ting restrained herself from beating up the cheating couple in front of her. She lived blindly in a lit oven for ten years.
‘If I didn’t agree to marry you, my father wouldn’t let me inherit his company,’ Shang Duan Hua said. ‘I would become a pauper if I don’t marry you. I know I’m being selfish. But I tried to make things work with you. You’re the type of woman I hate most. You’re a frugal frigid who doesn’t care about your appearance. You’re twenty-eight, but you don’t act like other young brides. You act like an old hag. It’s my dad who is pressuring me to marry you.’
Shang Duan Hua felt like he was the victim.
‘If you had told me sooner that you hate me, I would have let you go,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Just to inherit your dad’s company, you wasted ten years of my youth. Shang Duan Hua, you’re a f’ing b.a.s.t.a.r.d.’
Da Tian Ting slapped Shang Duan Hua’s face.
Shang Duan Hua was angry he couldn’t return the slap, because Da Tian Ting had caught him in bed with Da Ming Sheng.
Da Ming Sheng stood by Shang Duan Hua’s side, and she glared at Da Tian Ting.
‘Big sister, you can’t blame everything on Duan Hua,’ Da Ming Sheng said. ‘Duan Hua suffered more than you in the last ten years. He had to act like a dutiful fiance to you for ten years.’
‘Don’t make me laugh,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Don’t act like the victims when you and the f’king b.a.s.t.a.r.d have been having an affair behind my back for ten years.’
‘I don’t care who is right or wrong,’ Shang Duan Hua said. ‘If you can accept Ming Sheng in my life then I’ll marry you as planned. If you can’t accept Ming Sheng then you should call off the wedding and our engagement.’
Shang Duan Hua had enough of living in h.e.l.l with the frigid Da Tian Ting.
‘I see,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘If I call off the wedding and the engagement then you can still inherit your dad’s company.’
‘You’re right,’ Shang Duan Hua said.
Da Ming Sheng linked arms with Shang Dua Hua.
‘Big sister, it’s best if you call off the wedding and engagement,’ Da Ming Sheng said. ‘Dua Hua hates you. Why put yourself through a miserable marriage? Even if you marry Dua Hua, he’ll be sleeping in my bed. After you end things with Dua Hua, he and I can marry each other.’
‘It’s over,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Shang Duan Hua, you’re no longer my fiance.’
