Everyone stared at the door. Everyone present was aware of who was there. It was most likely the brother who the witch was just mentioning. Even though the door was there, Vincent could feel his aura. It gave an overwhelming sensation of a predator. It scared Vincent to his core. The pressure of an upper-tier demon was exuding from behind the door.
The person behind the door getting no response decided to boot it down. BOOM! The witch"s brother walked in. He was a cool young gentleman. His eyes were cruel, with a hint of iciness. There was the regalness of an eagle from him.
"What is going on here?"
The youth was impatient to leave. He wanted someone to explain what was going on, but he had guessed the vital part. His younger sister was fighting with these guys and lost or was losing, so she called him in as reinforcement.
"Tony, these guys are scamming me! I gave him six daylight rings to sell, and he gave me his life as collateral, so I trusted him. But now there is neither money or rings."
The witch answered as soon as she heard him ask his question. All the witch wanted was to see Vincent get his a.s.s kicked now.
"Where are the rings now."
Hearing the explanation, Tony wanted to get the rings and get out of here.
"Okay, hold on, it"s not like that. I"m not scamming anyone here. The rings in transport got robbed. I trusted a vampire to get it to a buyer, but right now, I can"t even find the vampire."
Vincent was hoping that this new guy would see reason. It really wasn"t Vincent"s fault. He was unlucky that the vampire he trusted was more bark than bright. The vampire was just some big talker and managed to live through a couple of big battles and got famous. Vincent trusted him because he didn"t have any other choice as he didn"t trust anyone else. His forces couldn"t deliver the rings since he wanted this entirely off the books.
"So basically, you got double-crossed, and now you have no money. Well, I don"t care that"s your business. But my business is that you need to pay for the rings. So get the money to me in a week, or I will tear it all down."
Tony was walking around the brothel, inspecting the chairs and tables that were lying around. He could tell that this brothel was rather high-cla.s.s. With some work, you could gain a decent intel web out of all the clientele. But the price of two daylight rings could most likely buy up a brothel like this if the wh.o.r.es weren"t succubi. Vincent couldn"t pay for the rings with the amount of money he got from this brothel. Tony had given up on getting the rings back, but he would get that money back since that was what his sister wanted.
"I am going to give you a bit of warning for fighting with her, and since I want you to get me the money."
Tony stretched his hand out, and the faint outline of a blue balrog appeared behind him. A whip of crackling blue lightning started to appear in his outstretched hand. The whip danced in a frenzy in Tony"s hand. He pulled his arm back and let loose the whip. CRACK!! The first crack of the whip shocked all the guards to their knees. The second one landed on Vincent as it tore gaping burnt wounds on his forearms. Vincent hit the ground, convulsing from lightning. A third whip strike tore up Vincent"s back from his left shoulder to the right side of his hip. He was left shaking on the ground. The wound on his back was all ripped up.
"Alright, Alice, are you happy now?"
Tony faced his sister with impatience and a bit of annoyance. She always did this, made trouble and called him to clean it up.
"Yea, as long as I get my money."
Alice flashed her brother a meek smile while speaking in a tough tone. Her brother, while easy to anger and cold, was always the first guy to stick up for her.
"If he doesn"t get you the money, I will give it to you, okay?"

Tony was sure that the incubus would try his hardest to get the money. But even so, the cost of six daylight rings was still something he could handle.
Tony had three sisters, but he was the only guy, so he was used to cleaning up their messes. If all he had to do was spend some money, he was glad.
With all that and seeing the "con artist" dealt with, Alice finally left with Tony.
Vincent"s torture was finally over when they left, but his arms and back ached. He had just taken the whip of a balrog. Electricity was still working its way through his body as they left. Sparks shot off of him, making him convulse. Vincent didn"t care about the consequences anymore. He whipped out his phone and shouted into it.
"Spread the word I want a bounty on the f.u.c.king vampire who was transporting the rings and spread the word that there are six free daylight rings out there for grabs. They just need to track down the f.u.c.ker who has them!!"
Vincent said the last part with a vicious snarl. He wasn"t sure if he got robbed or double-crossed, but whoever had the rings on them now was his f.u.c.king enemy. The rings were gone. Vincent had given up on them. He was going to borrow and sell all he could to pay off the witch, and he was never going to touch that business again. The wounds he had gotten were enough to scare him straight.
Vincent had managed to convince the leaders of the surrounding orc gangs to look for the vampire. Orcs blended in with humans exceptionally well disguised as gigantic humans. They were the perfect goons for hire. Most orcs grew to be at least 6 feet tall and packed with muscle. The muscle for hire wasn"t all muscle, though. Some orcs can be orc leaders and have intelligence exceeding humans, but most orcs were simple in thought using violence to deal with most of their problems.
Orc thugs tore the city apart, searching. Eventually, they managed to lock down the area where the vampire last appeared. The orcs smelt the corpse before they saw it. The vampire"s body was rotting, having been in an alley for three days.
